~Our Story~

She was girl who grew up in a noble household. Her mother died when she was fifteen and her father, unable to look at his young daughter who so strongly resembled his wife sent her as servant to the queen. Once exposed to the royal court, she falls in love with a Lord who is the heir to the throne.

Naoki sighed softly as he leaned back in his throne. He was next in line but since his father sick in bed he had to listen to the complaints of the village and accept the new batch of slaves that were coming in today. He hoped there would be at least one his age now. He was only twenty but finding a servant to hangout with his age this time of the year was hard. He was sick of hangout with those old people who just said everything to please him. He growled and ruffled his hair angrily and then noticed one of the people looking nervous. "No, its nothing you did. I'm just feeling a little hungry. Why don't you come tomorrow and we talk about the land that you're getting from my father." he said as he stood up. The man hastily agreed and ran out of the room.

Naoki sighed as he watched the thrown doors open and close as he walked out of them and into the cooler hallway. He nodded towards the bows he got as he walked to the kitchen. He wanted to go see his good friend Ami before he had to see those slaves in. He hoped to sweet talk her into a piece of her amazing cake that she was making for his party next week. He was officially getting announced as the king since the king was no longer able to do the duties. He knew that his father was in his lazy years and just wanted to relax in the beach castle with the next girl he decided to be with.

"Hey Ami." he said as he walked in the kitchen with a happy smile on his face. "How are u this morning?" he asked and she just sighed and smiled.

"Lord you know you can't spoil your lunch. It will be finished and ready for you after you finish your duties this morning. How many times am I going to have to kick you out of the kitchen. You're just like your father." she said with a soft giggle as she ruffled his hair. The women was well into her fifties but didn't look more then fourty-one. She did have that elder women feel to her though.

Naoki pouted and walked out of the kitchen knowing that he wasn't going to win this time but he would the next. Or the next if he must. He sighed softly as he walked back to the thrown room and waited for the servants to come so he could get his cake.

Violate ran down the steps of the palace her beautiful hair flowing in the air as she ran. She was working hard to earn her keep. She did not think highly of her Lord she felt Like the prince was a lazy and had everything handed to him jewels and woman as well as wine and than finest lands. While the poor had nothing but hunger and misfortune but thats the way the world is in this day and age your either born rich or born poor. Violate did not care for money she just wanted to be stable in life just enough money to eat was fine with her. She smiled to her self as she made her way down the hall way towards the throne room.

Naoki brushed his hair out of his face as a servant walked in with some tea. He made some idle chit chat till she left. What he wouldn't give to get on the horses back and just ride for hours at a time. Why should he give his years to this when his father could do things himself. He felt tears in his eyes as her remembered his best friend that had been forced away. They would always hangout in the stables and talk about ways to help those in need. His father had deemed him a bad influence and the boy was sent away. Naoki had been crushed but he still wants to help people when he gets to be the Lord of the lands. First things first. Everyone would be equal and there would be only servants that wanted to be. No one that was forced to be this because they would poor.

He had so many good ideas and couldn't wait till he could do them. But first things first. He wanted that cake. Needed that amazing cake and wished that this would go faster so he could get it.

Violate was blind but she knew her way around the castle since she had been there for a while now. She was not completely blind but almost blind she could make out a couple of things but not all. She did not mind being blind she saw it as a window to seeing the world in a light that others can not. She smiled and sang to her self as she entered the main hall making her way towards the kitchen happily without a care in the world.

She smelled the food and knew that Ami was in there " Hello Ami you look nice today " She stated smiling at the woman

Naoki delt with the servants that were coming in. It was really only one half bread. This was going to be news in the castle since it was the first half bread in a while. They usually weren't forced to be servants. They usually had to be sold into slavery or their parents didn't want them. Naoki softly pet the young girl that seemed to flinch slightly away. "Don't worry. We're going to get you some nice warm cloths so that you can warm up." he said as he gently picked the girl up. She seemed to relax in his arms slightly. He couldn't tell if she was shaking from fear or just the fact that she was freezing cold. He started for the kitchen knowing Ami would have something they could put on the young child.

Ami laughed softly as she stirred some of the soup that would be served for dinner. "That's funny hun. You can't see remember." she said as she walked over to her and softly ruffled her hair like a mother would do their child. She felt like Violate was her child in some way since they've lived together for a while now. She wasn't sure the age she came but she was now apart of their family.

"Ami...Oh, I'm sorry for interrupting." Naoki said as he walked into the room. "I was just wondering if you had some cloths that I could put on this young child. She's freezing. She was brought in as a slave but I don't think I even want someone as young as her working in this huge castle." he didn't want to finish that train of thought because he didn't want to scare the child anymore then she already was. He softly ran his fingers through her hair and she started to softly purr.

"Aw! Its a kitten." Ami said as she moved across the floor quickly. "She's so cute! Well except this cuts but they will heal and you'll be the prettiest little girl here." she said as she took the small girl from the lord to be. "What's your name little one?" she asked.

The girl was so scared. She started to cry as she struggled to get away. She bit Ami's arm and Ami just smiled and set her down on the ground. The girl whimpered as she felt the cold ground and started to stumble away as best her weak body could take her. She ran into Violates legs and stopped. She sniffed them and started to purr through some tears as she brushed up against her legs wanting to be picked up. The girl wanted her to hold her since she smelt a little like her mother did before she got thrown away. The small girl tried to meow softly but her voice just cracked horribly.

Violate smiled " Hey take that back i can still see a little." Violate stated laughing happily. She smiled happily as she talked to Ami who was like the only mother that she had ever known.

Violate herd someone walk into the kitchen " Hello?" She stated wondering who it could be when she herd it was the prince she bowed lightly * Great the spoiled brat is here what do we have to do for him now I wonder?* she stated as she listened to see what would be asked of them. She smiled when she herd the girl " Hello little one" She stated as she herd the young girl.

Violate was taken completely by surprise when the girl ran into her she got scared since she could not see her that well. " What if I pick you up and give you a big hug will that make you feel better?" Violate picked the girl up being extra careful not to drop her or hurt her " What is your name ? Mine is Violate and this is Ami" She stated as she smiled at the young girl.

The little girl sniffled softly as she clung to her cloths. She was a little scared still and was still shaking. Her cloths were slightly wet from being dragged around because she was trying to get back to her mother who just walked away. Her voice cracked more when she tried to talk. "A-A-ya-ko." she struggled to say. She whimpered softly as she sniffled. She wanted to find a warm place to hid.

Naoki smiled as he watched the two. He moved a bit away and went with Ami to get some cloths for the little girl. "I hope that she's not going to forced to do work." Ami said and she noticed Naoki shake his head.

"Are you kidding. Have you seen that child. She looks traumatized enough and even the thought of her cleaning anything...No, she's going to be raised as a young lady in my castle and will get to chose what she does when she's older." Naoki said as he looked through some of the cloths that Ami had in her closet for just this occasion. "I think she'll look cute in this." he said as he held up a few small dresses. Ami nodded in agreement and they walked back to them.

Violate smiled happily. " You are so cute who left you here where is your mother?" Violate stated as she looked at her. * How could someone do this leave a child behind?* Vi9olate began to get upset " Where is your mother and father?" Violate stated her beautiful eyes getting filled with tears. Violate was very upset how could anyone leave there child? " Ami!!! Where is this child's parents please do not tell me they just left her here?"

Ayako whimpered softly as her ears went down. She looked down at her lap and struggled slightly. She thought she did something wrong and was scared of getting hurt because of it like the fat man had. She didn't want to get hit again and she started to cry loudly.

Naoki walked over and picked Ayako up and out of her arms. "Shh...I've got you." he said as he started to softly pet under her chin. He didn't want the child to bit Violate like she did Ami. "Look. I found some pretty cloths for you to wear." he said as he nuzzled the girl softly. He wasn't sure why the small girl was so scared and crying now and he hoped that she would just calm down and rest. He knew that she had to have a long ride just to get to here and the way she acts...she had to have gotten hurt. He hoped to make those scary memories go away.

Ayako slowly started to calm down as she was pet. She whimpered when he touched her cheek though so he staid away from it. He wanted either the nurse or doctor to come and check her over to make sure that she was okay and wasn't going to be sick. He sighed softly as he noticed that her eyes were falling and she was fast asleep in his arms purring softly.

Ami's eyes grew sad as she noticed the tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry sweety. I wish I could." she said as she walked over to her and wrapped her arms around Violate's body. She ran her fingers through her hair hoping to calm her down. "She was actually brought here to be a slave but Naoki and I have decided to just raise the small child. She looks around the age of two or three. Not much older then that so we can raise her to be a very pretty and wonderful young lady." Ami said hoping that would cheer her up.

Violate began to smile " Really......she wont have to do any hard labor?" Violate was surprised that the spoiled brat was actually willing to be this kind. She smiled at lord Naoki....." Thank you very much I am sure she will turn out to be a wonderful young lady someday.....I hope that i may have a hand in raising her" Violate smiled at ami as well " she will be wonderful thank you so much for not making her a slave " Violate was filled with joy " Lord Naoki thank you....I think kinder of you now then what I did before"

Naoki laughed softly as he walked over to the two since they were done with their moment. "I'll take that as a complement...I think." he said as he looked around and looked to his side as Ami lifted up a towel. "Thanks Ami." he said as he started walking towards the door. "Would you like to help me with this little one?" he said as he looked down at the purring ball in his arms. She'd curled herself in a ball as she slept. He hoped that was okay with her body but he wasn't going to force her body out of the ball she'd put herself in.

Ami smiled and kissed Violate's forehead. "Yeah. Go help the lord with the child. I'm not sure if he knows the first thing about taking care of a little girl." Ami whispered in her ear and stood straight up. "I'm going to finish lunch. When you two are finished put her to bed and then come down for lunch. It will be set up outside in the garden since its such a beautiful day." she said.

"That's a great idea." Naoki agreed. He was glad that Ami was his cook. He wasn't sure if he would have been able to survive these horrid years of his father getting sick without her. He smiled over at Ami and then looked at Violate waiting for her answer.

" Sure I guess I can be of some help " Violate stated as she slowly began to walk towards him lightly feeling her way around to make sure she did not bump into anything. " Sorry My lord I am pretty much blind so I have to feel my way around this huge palace." She said as she smiled when she finally reached him " So in which room will the child be staying in?" Violate asked him as she touched the child in his arms. " Violate smiled as she felt the gentle child in his arms

"Um, Not sure." he said as he started to walk. He put her hand on his arm and shifted Ayako to his other arm. She uncurled and snuggled into his chest. He smiled down at her. "Well, for right now I'll set up the room next to mine for her so she can sleep in there and be close to me if she needs anything." he said as he thought about it. He wasn't sure if she would like to sleep in her own room but he would try it out first to let her decide. He didn't want to force her to do anything she didn't want to do.

They got up to his room, he helped her so she wouldn't trip on anything, after a few minutes. "Lets just get her out of these cloths and into new ones. Do you know where the doctor is today?" he asked curiously as he lead her to the bed and then let her hand go. He set Ayako on the bed and then started to gently take off her cloths. He wrapped her in a warm towel and then handed her over to Violate. "Can you hold her while I go get him?" he asked as he smiled down at her.

" No. Sorry I have no idea where he is actually." She said as she gently smiled at him. Violate felt him lead her to his room she had entered his chambers before to bring his robes and his food. She walked inside and smiled the smell of his room. She thyen took the child in her arms " Sure. I am more then willing to hold this sweet child" She stated as she hugged the child to her chest for warmth and protection.

Naoki smiled at the sight of the two but let his mind move onto other, more important things. "I'll go see if I can find him. Watch her for me. Also if you could give her a little bath and change her cloths. I don't want her getting anymore sick then she already might be." he said worriedly as he sighed. He was trying not to let her know that he was worrying his butt off but it was hard. No child deserved this and this was the reason he was going to be fighting slavery. He hated this. He took one last look at her before he opened the door once more and walked out into the hallway.

He walked around for a bit before checking the doctor's room. He knocked a few times before he got the enter from the doctor. "I'm sorry to come so early in the morning. I know you hate getting up early then you need to. But a young child was brought her and I fear she might be ill." he said as he opened the door and walked in to see the doctor sitting at his desk over a few documents. He felt the urge to ask what he was doing but felt it wasn't his place so he just smiled.

"Really? I haven't heard of any families with children that were coming any time soon." The doctor said as his head lifted to look at Naoki. He looked a little out of breath and quiet worried about something which took the doctor by surprised. "Is there something wrong with this child?" he asked curiously.

"Yeah, she was brought in as a slave and the young child is a half bread." he stated and the doctor was on his feet in seconds and moved the few feet that separated them quickly.

"Why didn'thttp://start.ubuntu.com/10.04/Google/ you say that in the first place! Lets go." he said as he walked out not waiting for Naoki to catch up. "Your room right?" he asked as he quickly took the left turn before the right that lead the way to the royal rooms. The doctor didn't wait for an answer already knowing that it was a yes since he wasn't stopped at any point.

Violate smiled at the child and began to walk towards the bathroom. She gently placed her in the bath " I know I am blind and that I am looked down upon because of it but If you want I could be like you new mommy?" violate stated as she looked at the young child happily. she began to gently bath her with love and care. She then dressed her and held her gently in her arms with love and warmth.

The doctor walked in first and sat down on the bed. "I'll give her right back." he said as he gently took her. He gently started to look her over and it was easy since the bath had put her back to sleep. She was okay except a slight fever. She had a few cuts on her body but she was going to be okay now that she was safe in the castle. "I think she'll be okay." he said as he gently handed her back to Violate. He looked back at Naoki. "So you can stop worrying now." he said as he pat Naoki on the back before returning to his room.

Naoki relaxed slowly as he sat down on the bed. "I'm so glad." he said as he looked at Ayako's sleeping face. He was just so happy that she was okay. He moved closer to Violate. "Can I hold her for a bit?" he asked as he looked at her with pleading eyes. He was a very kid loving person and the thought of being able to watch over one was great. Then he remembered about lunch. He sighed softly. "No. We should put her to bed and go down for lunch. Would you like to join me?" he asked as he softly kissed Ayako's forehead then lead the way to the room she would be staying in. It was a large pink room with random furniture that he would be replacing with child things. He would get better sheets for her too but these would have to do for now.

"Just place her in the bed while I set up a fire to keep the room warm." he said pointing to the bed before walking over to the fire place. He started to put in some fire starters and then lit it. He didn't build it very high because he didn't want to make the room to warm but he wanted it warm enough for her to be comfortable. When he was finished with the fire he stood up and wiped the crud that was on his fingers on his pants. "There. Nice and warm." he said with a smile on his lips. It was getting around the fall days but it was still good enough to sit outside in a warm coat. It was wonderfully sunny outside and Ami had to have them eat outside.

Violate smiled a bit " You are very kind to be doing this for this poor child." Violate stated as she gently placed the child in the bed and kissed her gently " Good night sweet child". She smiled and then turned towards her master " My lord I am a slave are you sure you want to eat lunch with me it would not be proper" Violate stated as she frowned " Its a kind offer though."
Violate turned back towards the child and began to run her fingers threw the child's hair.

Naoki just smiled. "I don't care. If I have my way there will be no social classes anymore. I'm so sick of it to tell you the truth." he said as he sighed softly. He was thinking it was a bit ridiculous now. He gently took hold of her hand. "Now, lets eat." he said as he lead the way to the door. He opened it and took a quick look at Ayako sleeping in the bed before letting Violate go first. "And don't worry about the girl. No one deserves to be in slavery and if you didn't know yet you weren't in the right part of the castle. I din with all my friends." he said with a small chuckle. He only ate with the servants that worked with him. He worried for the others safety if they ate with him. He didn't want their owners to get angry at them because they'd eaten with him when the owners hadn't.

Violate looked scared " last time i did something out of my class I was almost beaten so hard that my leg was almost broken" She showed him a part of her leg that was badly bruised. " Are you sure I will not be beaten? I can not bare the pain" Violate stated as she felt him hold her hand gently. Violate was a beautiful girl that many men wanted to marry but since she was a slave and she was blind many did not approach her. Her beauty surpassed the fact that she was blind and the fact that she was a slave any man could fall for her at any moment.

Naoki frowned a bit. "I promise that I will protect you so long as you serve me in my home." he said as he smiled down at her hoping to hid the sadness he felt for her. He lead the way out to where Ami was sitting with a muffin in her hand.

"There you two are. I was wondering what was taking so long. The young child asleep in her own room?" she asked as she took a bite out of the muffin she had in her hand. She watched the two with a happy smile.

"Yeah. The poor girl was exhausted. Violate gave her a nice bath and warm cloths to sleep in so I hope she'll sleep a while. Ayako look like she really needed the rest." he said as he lead Violate to one of the seats and held it out for her.

Ayako slowly woke up. She whimpered softly as she looked around the slightly lit room. She'd had a bad dream and just wanted Naoki or Violate. She slowly pushed the sheets away and fell off the bed trying to get off the bed. She sniffled as she crawled out of the room and then stood up by the stairs. She whimpered as she started to walk down them. She heard people talking and her ears went down as she bolted down the rest. She cried softly as she ran around looking for the two. She ran outside and when she saw Naoki standing by Violate she clung to his leg. "WWWWHHHHHHAAAA!" she cried.

Naoki looked down and gently picked her up. "Awww. Shhhh. I have you hunny." he said as he sat down in the seat next to Violate and gently rocked her. He put her in his over coat so she wouldn't get to cold. "Just cry it all out." he said as he gently rubbed her back and started to eat a bit wanting to give her comfort and privacy at the same time. He felt her slightly tug on his shirt and she looked down to see her staring at the food. He smiled as he held a bit of toast to her lips. She munched on it slightly then sniffled again as she chewed.

Violate got scared when she herd her crying " Whats going on is the child alright...." Violate stated as she felt for the child when she herd her master picking her up she calmed a bit and smiled a bit " Are you okay sweet heart...you must have had a um bad dream...." Violate stated as she stroked the child's hair. " Ummm Ami what are we eating...I am just wondering so I do not stick my hands into a hot bowl of soup or something" Violate felt bad everyday of her life that she was blind she tried to igniore the fact that she was blind but it kept bothering her no matter what.

"Well there is toast and butter, some sandwiches that are ham cheese lettuce and tomato. I do have a soup, tomato, but I put it over by me so there would be no risk of you hurting yourself hun. There's also cake after lunch." Ami explained as she smiled. She was glad that Violate had decided to join them for lunch.

Naoki gently started to pet under her chin and she purred happily as she ate some of the food that was fed to her. Ayako smiled up at Violate and rubbed at her sleepy eyes a bit. She was still very exhausted but she was to scared to sleep. She feared that they would disappear like in her dream.

Naoki noticed and continued to pet her. When she didn't take anymore food he just cradled her in his arms and kept eating as he rocked her. "I'll just let her sleep in my arms. I doubt anyone would care if I carried her around." he said hoping he was right. He wished he had something he could lay her in and still keep her close in his arms. He just wasn't sure what it could be.

Violate began to slowly eat her food scared she would get hurt. " I wish i could see that way I would not be such a bother" Violate stated blushing " My lord may I hold her please" Violate stated as she smiled at the child who was in her master's arms.

Violate hoped the young child liked her she wanted to help raise her she felt bad her mother had left her. Violate wanted to make up for that.

Naoki smiled. "Yeah. Of course." he said as he gently handed Ayako over to her. He started to eat more and watched Ayako a bit.

Ayako whimpered softly as she was handed to her. She shivered slightly as she snuggled into her. "mama..." she whimpered as tears started to stream down her cheeks slowly. "Ho go..." she said as she struggled a bit in her sleep and clung more to him.

Naoki moved closer and softly kissed Ayako's head softly and leaned back. He watched as she continued to fear her dreams. He knew she was going to have to defeat her dreams on her own but at least they could stay and comfort her while she needed it. "Sorry Violate." he said before he gently picked her up and put her in his lap. He gently held the two close. "We're here sweety." he said.
