JAhero looked at the pup with half a smile " Im not sure i would be of any use to you but if no one else minds"

"Everybody is of use" Snowflake started running around Jahero. "Can't catch me!"

Jahero smiled at the thought and tried to catch snowflake with his paw.

Snowflake turned her head and stuck out her tounge at Jahero. "Can't catch me! I'm too silly!"

Jake stared at the new wolf for a moment and then he smiled "hello" he said and then tackled him "welcome"

"Thanks " jahero said under Jake. He laughed and pushed him off and started to catch snowflake. He was having fun for the first time in his life.

Jake chuckled, he may have looked like a huge fearsome tiger, but sometimes he was a deadly as a kitten

Lilly laughed as she watched the three play. When they wernt looking she slipped out the den door and walked over to the river. She sat under a tree and looked out at the mountains behind it.

Snowflake ran outside, getting away from Jake and Jahero. "Slow pokes!" She saw Lilly and sat beside her. "Whatcha doin' ?"

Lilly looked down at Snowflake, "Just thinking." She said as she stood up, "Come on lets get you back to the den." She said walking a few steps then looking behind her to see if Snowflake was folowing.

Jahero howled happly with in his new family

Lilly smiled as she passed Jahero on her way back to the den, "Jake, are you feeling better?"

Jake looked at her confused "feeling better? from what?"

Jahero turned to listen

Snowflake walked up to Jake. "Remember? You almost drowned. Lilly saved you"

Jake looked at Snowflake "wait... so that wasn't a nightmare..." he suddenly felt his energy dissaper and he walked back into the den and laid down

Snowflake ran up to him. "Whats wrong Jake?"

Jake looked at her and smiled "its nothing... i just suddenly feel weak, thats all"

Snowflake kissed Jake's face. "Please don't be sad. I don't like it when my friends are sad"

Jake chuckled "why would that make me sad, nothing like that can make me sad" he chuckled

"Because when your sad, I'm sad. I want everyone to be happy" Snowflake hugged Jake by the neck. "Please be happy, Jake"

Jake smiled "i am happy, i can't be sad with you around" he said as he rolled onto his back and closed his eyes "im usally always happy"

Snowflake walked over and layed on Jake's tummy. "Your fur is soft and warm" Snowflake rolled around on it.

Jake chuckled "really? ive never been told what it feels like" he said and started to giggle "that tickles"

Snowflake started pawing at Jakes tummy. "Tickle, Tickle, Tickle!"
