her head almost snapped around to stare at his blatant lie, but thankfully she caught herself. it probably wouldn’t do them any good if they realized he was from the land of darkness. quickly she nodded to the guard as they past.

"my fathers tent should be that one" she whispered to him. then the thought occurred to her. Her father would know what he was. "what are you going to do?" she tried to rephrase knowing that really didn’t make sense. "i mean, are you going to drop me off and leave or..." she left her sentence hanging for she didn’t even know she had wanted him to stay though she knew better then to think he would, he did after all say he had been looking for his father.

"Oh...um, I think I should drop you off," he told her as he looked at the people staring at him. "Everyone is already starting to get suspicious and I don't want them to think that I kidnapped you," he told her as he stopped in his tracks. "I should probably go find my father now," he told her as he bowed. "It was nice meeting you and I hope your father is all in good health," he said as he then turned to got back to his horse so they could stop at a small spring to rest for water on the way to his father's camp.
