Mm, I actually looked at the buckled corset, and the gold on it is actually darker than the other golds. For some reason, the current corset my avatar has on looks like it was made for the surcoat, while all the other corsets layer awkwardly. We need a gold corset. Dx We need more colors for everything, really. If we had dragon longcloaks that were reversed, the cloak being gold and the shoulder padding being black, I would be so happy. ._.; On that note... Do you thing a longcloak would be overdoing it?

Okay, nice start! She almost looks a bit too cute/happy for the scene she's in, so maybe switch the mouth for something more serious. :D Also, I'm not a huge fan of that bow on her head either. She looks like a child playing in a cemetery, not a young woman visiting graves... I'm not a huge fan of the tall crew socks. They're kind of dorky looking with this particular outfit. If I were you, I think I'd switch them out for the shorter crew socks, then maybe add some silver tribal anklets and a silver necklace of some sort. Then maybe try the hairpin from hell and see if you like it with yoru avatar. :D

I'd also recommend darkening your haircolor a bit so that it matches a bit better with the rest of your outfit. If you want me to pull some hex colors for you, I can do that. :D

I think you should add some black bloomers (with the white stitching) to get a tiny bit of black under the white skirt. Either that or a pair of black shorts that are short enough to still show off plenty of light blue tight. I think a white/silver decor tiara would be a nice touch too. Ooh, I like this one. It's very steampunky. :D I think the shoes are a bit wrong for this outfit however, as I can't imagine this lady in heels. They seem contradictory to the rest of the outfit. Maybe try the Moon Child Flats? Unfortunately we don't have much in the way of silver shoes, but I think those might work.

I like the jewelry touches -- those are great little details that really add to this outfit. :D

I think you should also switch your eyes to silver instead of gold. :yes:

Ack! Like I said, I really dislike yellow and gold together. There's just something really clashy about this color combo, and I'm not feeling it at all. :sweat: The outfit itself isn't bad -- you've got some nice layering going on -- but I think you really need to introduce a third color. Maybe if you added orange (from the duck's beak), it might not be so harsh on my eyes?

Hmmm... I'm not sure you're missing anything, but I guess I don't understand why the chains are there? They seem out of place and unnecessary. Maybe some green tights in the same shade as your cuffs and laurels are in order?

I had someone tell me that the teals of the bottom half are over powering the avatar.

I think you should lighten the eyes to the lightest teal.

I do think that the teal on the bottom is a lot compared to the top, but I think you could fix that by replacing the harness with the glammy waspie. :) Although that could uncover some unwanted colors from the bustier, from the looks of it. You'd just have to see what it looks like.

So, I know it's been awhile, and I see that your avatar is coming together, so I think I'll rate your current avatar instead of the one in this post. :D Very nice! I like the shoes combo you went with, and even though you've got a bunch of sock and shoe layers on, it doesn't bother me like that sometimes does. It can look really silly sometimes, but I like it on your avatar. :yes: The Atlantis belt was an excellent choice as well. :D

Sadly we don't have much in the way of purple gloves that match the purple you're using here. Those space gloves seem to be your best bet, but I do wish they were more purple and less white.

I think you really need to balance the top and bottom of your avatar. Maybe dove headwings would help give some weight and width to the top half. :yes: Another hairstyle would also help with this -- I'm not a huge fan of the bun style, but it is very ballerina-ey and goes with your look. However, it's just not terribly attractive to me personally.

Overall though, I think this is a really great avatar, and I don't have too many suggestions for you really... :sweat: :heart:

Hmm... Well, let's see here. I think you can make black/red/blueaqua work in this avatar, but you really need to incorporate one of the blues from your background into your avatar. I think I'd suggest picking a lighter blue shade to make your avatar pop a bit. I'd add bright blue streaks to your hair, or change your eye color to blue to get some of that bright blue up top. You could also maybe use one of the light blue space shirts under that dress to give the top of that avatar some blue. You could also use the pants from that set to get it on your legs.

However, I'm not sure the space blues are going to match. :sweat: That background is really hard to match, in general, as I don't think we have the same blue in any of our clothes. :sweat:

You'll also need something blue in the head area -- if you don't add it to your hair color somehow. :yes:

Let me go look at a few things in the DAC and see if I can't find a blue that will work for you...
