I removed the bow, as well as the water cape. The seashell on the chest bothered me because of the random splash of cream/ gold. :X Is it better now? I also tried the sunny backgrounds, but I didn't like it as much. The reason for the waterfall background and greenery was to make it seem like my avatar popped out of the background. The shamrocks blend in with the background and the water seems to splash out from the waterfall on the right side.

Sadly for the necklace this thing here: hides my attempts for a necklace. Should I remove it?

The hairpins (well for the ones in the shops) the only close one I could find were the butterfly ones but they seemed too bright for the av to fit in. What would you suggest?

Ooh, I do like it better without the cape and the bow. It's much cleaner this way IMO, and it helps it stand out more from the background. I think I'm pretty happy with it at this point. :D I do like how the pond/shamrocks blend in with the background, but there was just so much going on before that I was just hating on clutter. XP Good one!

Well, okay, I think you either need to go with gold, or yellow, but not both. The sword hilt is yellow actually, not gold, so if you want to keep the sword, you've gotta rework a bunch of stuff to include that yellow, because if not, it's just going to stand out. You could, however, use a gold weapon/handheld instead. I don't know if you were going for a certain look here, but the pirate sword from the pirate booty would probably be nice in this particular avatar, and you could even use the one with the red ribbon. :D It's got a gold hilt, and I think it'd look nice. :D I do think you should remove the cravat and get a red necklace instead. :yes: I'm not usually a cravat fan in general -- they do look good with some outfits, but definitely not all of them.

I like the gold/white dress too, and I think it'd look nice. Then you could maybe get a red belt/sash and you'd be all good. :D Plus, those tights... yeah, good luck deciding on that! XP

I always suggest the gold starry hairpin for some reason, and I think I'll recommend it here. I'd also want you to try on the red temptress hairpin and see how that works. It has some cream in it though, so I'm not sure. You'll have to see.

Is there a specific theme you're going for here? Or do you have any piece of this outfit you want to keep particularly? I just don't want to change the theme of your avatar too much if that's what you're going for. :yes:

Lessee ... Overall, for a black/white/red avatar, I like it. :D Usually these colors don't appeal to me, but I like the overall look of this. It's very festive! :D I do think you could lose one of the lollipops and replace it with a SOLID black handheld. There's a lot of pattern going on in your legs, and I think replacing the lollipop that crosses the legs with something solid black would be a good move. Either that, or just have nothing in that hand.

I think you should add the black mechanics gloves or the punked gloves, for a touch of black on the hands.

I'd like some more red on the head somewhere, but that'd mean poking squiddy, and I'm not sure he'd like that. :sweat: If he can take it, I'd recommend the Hairpin from Hell I think. XP

All in all, I like it though. It's fun! :XD

As for what I'd like, I'd like to try and capture one of my characters. She's brazillian, dark skinned with freckles, and I'm imagining her with a Tiki top and skirt, or then Jane/Tarzans top of skirt (any top and skirt really, you can even make her look like one of those belly dancers xD), whichever looks best. With a forest in the background, and a snake or something along the lines of this, so it looks like she lives in the forest and all. I don't know, let your creativity flow :D

Okay, well, I hate saying this, but I honestly don't like this avatar very much. I think there's wayy too much going on, and hardly any of the blues match. I would first start by removing any and all gold from this avatar. So the hat and the cape. Also, you need to change your ear style so that it's not flesh-colored. :lol: Definitely do silver accents with this particular avatar, since you're trying to incorporate so many different blues. Not all blues look good with gold, so I'd get rid it entirely to prevent clashing colors.

I would remove the atlantis items entirely as well, since they don't go with the other blues at all. Atlantis is more of a green color, not so much blue.

I think you could also change your hair color to the dark blue of the sash, and it would be much more coordinated.

It's hard to say what else I'd recommend on this, since I want to see significant changes to it. :sweat: Sorry!

I see that you're going for a themed avatar, so I'll keep that in mind when I make my comments. First, I think you should use silver tribal anklets, as your feet kinda get lost at the bottom. I think they'd help bring a bit of a lightness to the bottom where it's very dark in contrast to the top.

I'm not sure I like the nightstalker sash, because it doesn't go with anything else. I think if you want to keep it, you should match it to your hair. It would also help the contrast of your hair against the background -- right now, they're pretty similar in color and kind of blend together. Again, I can grab color codes for you if you need them. :D I have a handy eyedropper tool on my browser to pick colors from any image.

Some silver earrings would be nice I think too. And maybe the silver/black cane?
