I really like this avatar! I think the colors are nice, and overall, it has a pleasing look. The parts I don't like are --
1. The flowered hairpins. Unless you find a way to incorporate a bit more of the lighter green in your avatar, I'm not a huge fan of the hairpins. However, I will say that I'm not sure what kind of alternative item you should use on your head to bring out the green. Maybe just some green laurels? Sorry I can't be of more help on a suggestion to fix this... I just can't think of anything really good. T_T I guess you could try adding a plain light green belt, and maybe that'd help with the light green color balance...

2. I just don't like that hairstyle. XD It does work with some avatars, granted, but on most of them, not so much. While I like that it gives your avatar some height, I'm just not a huge fan of it in general. So I may be personally biased on that one, but I'd suggest changing the style.

I really like this avatar too! It's got a nice theme, and you're looking rather mischevious! :D I would like to see a weapon or some kind of hand-held though, since I feel like it's missing something in the hands. Were you going for a specific look? Maybe one of the silver/black shortswords from the Ninja Arsenal might be nice... Overall, I think this has nice flow and balance, and I quite enjoy looking at it. I wish you could get more of the purple from the crystals into the top of your avatar somehow... Maybe streak your hair with it? That's totally up to you though. You might also want to try on a gold teenie skirt, since I THINK it would layer nicely under the samurai armor bottoms. Overall though, I don't have much to suggest because I quite like it. :D

Hmmm...I agree that it does need something, and I think that something is some dark brown at the top of your avatar (somewhere in the shirt area). I think I'd try the brown tribal choker perhaps. You just need some dark brown in the shoulder/neck area for sure. I was going to suggest a dark brown basic singlet, but then I realized you were wearing a dress already, so that wasn't going to work...

Would a chocolate shoulder wrap work perhaps? It might cover too much though... You'd just have to look at it.

I would also suggest some brown gloves -- I'd try the mechanic gloves and see how they look.

I think instead of that staff, you should try the phoenix staff. I think it'd go nicely with your colors, and it'd get rid of the orange in the staff that irks me. The pudao of good fortune might also be nice, because it has a bit of silver that would go with the small silver bits you already are using in your avatar. :D

Yeah, that hair is weird to work with. I do wish we had more hair that had some verticalness to it though. There are very few styles that are tall like that. We definitely need more of that kind of thing. :yes:

You're welcome! I do like the green feather instead of the white though. Maybe add some dove headwings to get some more white on your head now?

Ooh yeah, I like the hairband! I do think you need a larger hairstyle though. Something where you can see more of the gray... I'm not sure which one to recommend really. You'll just have to go through them and pick the one you like the most. :D Hair is always a personal choice IMO. :D

Well, I have to say, I REALLY like this outfit! :D Although now that I've seen it with the teal leggings (your current), I like it even more. XD I'm glad you found those, because that was my main issue with this avatar. The atlantis color sock just didn't work with this outfit, but the teal legging is great!

I definitely think she looks like a demon princess, although she'd probably look more demoney if she had black horns instead of gold. But then you'd have to change your haircolor, and meh -- I don't think it's worth it. XD

The addition of the gold harem belt is great. I'm glad I suggested that. It would be nice to see a bit more gold in the torso somewhere, but I can't really think of anything that would work, unless you change to the black proper buckled corset instead of the corset you have on. :yes:

Overall though, I think this avatar is GRRRRRREAT! XD *insert Tony the Tiger voice*

Oh definitely keep this monochrome! :D When I quoted this post, you weren't rocking the monochrome style, and it made me sad, because I liked this avatar in all B&W.

Overall, I don't really have a ton of suggestions, although the microphone seems a bit out of place with the rest of the avatar. :yes: Is there a reason why you're using it?

You may want to consider a silver necklace or choker (silver tribal choker, black/silver calliope necklace), and some silver anklets, but other than that, I really like your avatar, and I don't have much to suggest. XD

Someone pointed out to me in one of the threads that it was a lighter teal. I honestly had no idea. It's a testament to my impending color blindness, I swear. :feesh: That would be me whacking my eyes.
Yay! I have achieved a theme. <3 Yeah.. Gold hair and dark skin looks good sometimes, but I really don't think it would here. Gold hair isn't very demony, is it? ._.; I was pondering using the huge horns from the older Overlord CI, but they're more...queenly, I think...
Mm, I actually looked at the buckled corset, and the gold on it is actually darker than the other golds. For some reason, the current corset my avatar has on looks like it was made for the surcoat, while all the other corsets layer awkwardly. We need a gold corset. Dx We need more colors for everything, really. If we had dragon longcloaks that were reversed, the cloak being gold and the shoulder padding being black, I would be so happy. ._.; On that note... Do you thing a longcloak would be overdoing it?
