How are all of you? I'm relatively new here, just playing games and browsing around the forums seeing what you're all up to. So I'm going to speak up so I can make a couple of friends.
Nice to meet you.

I'm well. Who knew that eating cereal in the middle of an afternoon would be so satisfying?
Last night wasn't as good but I'm getting better, it helps to be randomly socializing.

Hmm, well I'm still learning Steampunk. I've not actually had the chance to try it yet but I'm really interested. Mind explaining it a bit?
I'm reading about it on Wiki.

lol I'm not sure I didn't use wiki I just looked it up online. I found it by accident I was looking for a good char for one of my charter and I found steampunk from there it went into the fashion and then the background.

lol I'm working on saving for a par of goggles.

Do steampunk roleplays have specific plots?
And having goggles like that would be epic!

well It would be my "first" one. A while back I did a pirate one that ended up being steampunk I just didn't know what steampunk was at the time.
From what I can tell If we were like some sort of inventers and we made something that went wrong, or didn't work at first... Is one way we could do it.
Or
We could do an Air ship type of rp, we could be looking for something impotent... I'm not that great at creating the story part lol.
Or
We're sent out to find something, and it turns out to be something totally different. (kinda like stardust)
----------
lol names I'm saving for an rp.
First Mate Adella B. Ivers
Petty Officer-3rd Class Adella Kemp Finney
Lettice Wafer Revals

X3 Ah, thank you. I'm just really confused is all. Its reassuring that its the first for the both of us. I'm less "AAHHH" about it XD
Maybe in a way we could combine all of that... An invention gone wrong that it is a complete disaster for instance, something for instance that is so terrible that the mere mention of it is... well yeah. So then it might be required to go in search of an object, substance, whatever that can be harnessed to be the end of our born disaster only for it to be something other than we thought?
---
And those are interesting names, especially Lettice. Pronounced like Lettuce by chance?

lol yes yes and yes.
Omg I think we're going to have a great rp.

lol and at the end they could wake up and find out it was all just a dream... or was it.

Hah, that extra bit about it being a dream would add up to some interesting complications if we wanted to continue it past that. Like what would the characters start to think when and if they meet each other outside of the dream?

Yep, could could start a chapter 2. lol
to you want to set it in the Victorian age?
Or do you want to make it like crazy in the future where time had to start over and Its a different world then it once was?

For instance lets look at our already limiting resources. Land is running out, as would be agriculture I bet. Oils and clean waters, so they'll need to replace all of that don't you think?
Maybe they have sky cities and other such things.

Okay, The only transportation is the air ships. Cities in they sky are they on land that has floated up into the sky or are they the buildings themselves.
Or what if we do like the atmosphere is getting thin so the land masses have been braking apart and slowly floating up in to the sky. Its been thousands of year and now the cities are in the sky.
