Marley sighed. She gripped the edges of the hospital-like bed hard. When she felt the pain of her long black nails starting to bend from gripping so hard, she let go and groaned, grabbing the single white pillow and hugging it tightly to her chest. She was scared. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a mirror and jumped so quickly out of bed, she became dizzy from the slow blood flow. In the mirror, she recognized very little of herself. She saw her long black hair and her weirdly hazel eyes, but her newest feature frightened her. A single blue crescent moon on her forehead, right between her eyes. Her eyes teared up, but someone entered the room before the first tear could drop.

"Is there a Miss Marley here?" It was the woman who she remember from earlier. Neferet, was it? She looked over to the woman and nodded slowly. "Oh, good. Hello Marley. Welcome to the House of Night. I assume you have been filled in on all the details by our nurse?" Again, Marley nodded silently. This made the woman smile, which somehow made Marley feel a bit better. She walked over to her and gave her a piece of paper. "This is your schedule. I will show you the way to our dining hall, and then you can find your way from there." Marley swallowed hard, took the paper, and followed after her as she began to lead the way.

When she arrived in the dining hall, she stiffled a gasp. It was so...modern-looking. She looked over to find the woman, but she was gone. Marley looked around the dining hall, and noticed that many people were coming and going. She grabbed a simple breakfast and moved to the nearest empty table she could find.

"Yeah, but I don't blame her. She's always saying how Nyx has special plans for me and that I have a special gift. Maybe that's why my mark filled in. Like that's possible," he finished sarcastically. Geo gave Kimmy a small smile and sat down beside her. He resisted the urge to wrap his arm around her, but instead, to get himself to focus, he looked up at the starts and then back down at Kimmy as he smiled softly. He couldn't remember ever smiling this much. "It's so beautiful here," he murmured.

Freddy looked around the dining hall and then noticed a new girl sit down. She looked new from the sickness shown in her face and the way she looked miserable with her black hair surrounding her pale face, something stroke in him as he got up and walked over to her table.

"Hi," he said in a friendly tone.

Marley was just sitting, staring at her food, when a voice made her jump slightly. She looked up to find a cute blond boy smiling at her. Was he talking to me? She looked behind her and on both sides, finding nobody else he could have been speaking to. So...it was me? She coughed uncomfortably and brushed the hair from out of her eyes to see him better. She attempted a smile, but failed miserably. Instead, she looked back down at her food and murmured, "Hello..." while picking at the loose thread on her black attire.

Freddy gave a small friendly smile to her. "You just got here, huh?" he asked as he sat across the table from her. "Here's a little tip, stay away from the sunlight unless you want a killer headache and until you feel a hundred percent yourself, you should rest," he said.

"Oh, and my name is Freddy. What's yours?" he the asked her.

Marley's eyes were wide, listening to him. She didn't want to take his tips. She wanted to go home, where she felt normal. She felt his eyes on her, waiting for her to speak. "Y-Yes, I'm new. I-I'll try to remember that..." She swallowed hard, suddenly feeling sick to her stomach, and as if she had noticed her food for the first time, picked up her spoon and took her first bite of apple sauce so she didn't throw up.

"I am Marley." She said quietly, after swallowing her food and feeling confident enough that she could open her mouth.

Kimmy smiled and looked up at the stars too, They were beautiful, but she prefered the sight of the boy sitting next to her. "I bet you are destined for something great! Your mark couldnt fill in otherwise now, would it?" she said and giggled. Then Kimmy noticed the smile plastered on Geo's face. "Geo! Your smiling" she laughed and stroked a single finger over his lips in the shape of his smile. "You remembered!" she exclaimed and then blushed at her stupid performance over a smile.

He probably thinks I'm crazy Kimmy smiled trying to hide her sillyness.

Freddy was still looking at her. "Nice to meet you, Marley. I understand you'd rather be home right now. I felt that way at first, but just try to relax. Sooner or later, you will find yourself in love with this place," he told her as he then got up. "Well, I better start heading off to class and you should probably go to your dorm after you eat and sleep," he told her as he lightly patted her shoulder and then walked away.

Geo knew that what he was about to do next, he would regret and Kimmy wouldn't like it. So he looked back down at Kimmy, lightly grabbed her face and lightly planted a kiss on her lips after she ran her finger on his curved lips. "I didn't forget," he assured her with a cute smile slapped across his face.

Marley just nodded to Freddy and watched him leave. Finish eating, then go back to my room and rest... She told herself. She tried her best to finish the food on her tray, but it quickly became apparent after her third bite of apple sauce, that she was getting nowhere. She pushed the tray of food away with a slight grimace and stood up, walking out of the dining hall. She remembered that to get to the girl's dorms, she had to cross a courtyard. She walked out the door and slowly began her walk there. She kept her eyes down on her feet the entire time, so that nobody else would notice her and begin a conversation she was uncomfortable with.

Freddy seemed very nice. If she ever got better, she would have to look him up, since he seemed friendly enough. NO! She stopped in her tracks. Friends!? Here!? She again, teared up at the thought of staying at the House of Night and picked up her head, running to the dorms.

When she reached the building, she brought out her arm to reach for the handle, but froze dead. Slowly, she turned her head up towards the sky and realized that it was...well...beautiful... She looked around and saw nobody, so she slowly walked around the building and found a place to sit. She sighed and looked up at it for the longest time. "Beautiful..." She breathed out, as if its sheer amazement took her breath away.

Kimmy was shocked and breathtaken, but she still somehow managed a huge smile. "Wow" she exhaled. "I've been wanting to do that since Drama yesterday!" she giggled and kissed him back, but this time she kissed him harder than their previous kiss. When she finally stopped, she breathed and said "good. I hope you never forget!" and smiled. All of the nervousness had been drained form her, and there was nothing to giggle at so Kimmy just sat next to Geo and snuggled up into his arms. Class would start in ten minutes, and she des=cided to ask Geo out that night.


"Since its Friday night, do you fancy coming over to our common room and having a movie night? You wont have to be back till later, and I really want to see you" she said, smiling hoping that Geo wouldnt turn her down.

When Kimmy kissed him again, he lightly placed his hands on each side of her face yet again and kissed back. He giggled. "Really? Ha haha me too," he replied as he wrapped his arms around Kimmy so that her head was resting on his shoulder as they both looked up at the night sky. "I won't forget, believe me."

"Sure, that sounds fun. What movie are we seeing?" he asked her.

Then he looked across the courtyard to see a girl sitting on one of the benches with long black hair and black attire. She was looking up at the sky. And at the moment, Geo sensed and saw lonliness. But then he looked back up at the sky and sighed. The world was filled with that, but at the moment, Geo's world wasn't with Kimmy in it.

Happy and content in Geo's arms, Kimmy looked up at the beautiful night sky. "I think we should watch..." Kimmy paused, not actually knowing what they could watch. "Ooh, how about 300? I heard it was quite good, but I never had the guts to watch it on my own" she blushed and smiled...

A girl with long black hair was sitting opposite them looking lonely. She looked like a first year, and Kimmy remembered what it was like to be alone and scared in a new home. She wanted to go and sit with the young girl, but decided that she needed time to herself.

Marley broke her gaze from the night sky and wiped her face. She had begun to cry. She was shocked at the wetness coming out of her eyes but the more she tried to stop, the more the tears flowed. After a long time of the tears falling, she brought her knees up to her chest and hugged herself tightly. She was amazed, scared, and a feeling so much more than lonely, that she cried even harder trying to figure it out. With her last sniffle, she wiped her nose with the sleeve of her shirt, like an elementary schooler, and picked herself up from the bench, remembering Freddy's advise. "Rest..." She murmured to herself.

She felt a pair of eyes on her for a split second and turned to see what appeared to be a boyfriend and girlfriend couple slouching around and enjoying the night view. She too, took one last look, smiled sadly, and walked into the girls dorms. She passed the common room and the kitchen, walking up the set of stairs that led to the bedrooms. She had no roommate since she had come in at a strange time. They said that they were looking for people she could squeeze in with, but Marley would have none of it. She preferred having nightmares alone, where she didn't have to worry about preposterous things like embarrassment.

She opened her door, and plopped down on the bed, hugging the softness of a pillow and shutting her eyes, falling fast asleep.

"You? Scared to watch 300?" he asked her in a joking way as he looked down at her. "Non-sence. But I'll watch it with you. It's a heart-twisting movie. It's good," he told her.

And then the warning bell rand as he sighed and got up, outstretching a hand to Kimmy with a small smile.

(( Yeahzz, but not for long, though. I haz a plan to cheer her up. :D I'll wait awhile to post since she's sooo sleepy. ))

Kimmy giggled as Geo teased her about being scared to watch 300. She was happy that he had agreed to watch it with her, because she felt safe in his arms.

Sighing, Kimmy looked dissapointed as the bell rang for class. She took Geo's hand and pulled herself up. "Thank you" she chimed happy that she had met such an utter gentleman. "Geo, you are the sweetest boy I ever met!" she giggled and kissed his cheek. "Off to classes!" she shouted in a sarcasticly happy mood. Before she left however, Kimmy noticed the pretty girl who she had seen before and she was crying. Kimmy felt so bad, but she had to get to lessons, so she would find the girl later when she had rested up and make sure there was nothing she needed.

Geo giggled and as Kimmy was going to turn to begin to walk to her class, a feeling overcame Geo as he lightly grabbed her arm and spun her so that she was facing him and she crashed into his body as he lips sweetly kissed hers. He chuckled as he then let her go but then looked to where Kimmy was looking.

"I think it'd be best to leave her be. Let's go to class," Geo said as he walked Kimmy to the class the had together.

The surprise kiss form Geo made Kimmy's heart soar. She smiled and nuzzled into his chest for a hug. "I know" she sighed, feeling sad and wishing there was something she could do.

Kimmy let Geo lead her to the lesson that they both had together. Vamp Soc. Kimmy chose a seat in the back of the class, but before she sat down she smiled at Geo and kissed him softly. "Thank you for being amazing" she whispered and then perched on her seat behind her desk.

Geo was shocked at what he had just been thanked for as he sat down in a desk next to Kimmy's. And before the bell rand, he leaned over close to her and whispered, "Thank you for making me smile," he said as he gave her one last smile.

Kimmy smiled in retaliation and ran her thumb across his bottom lip. She then reached up with it and flicked his nose.

The bell rang and Kimmy looked towards the front of the room and waited for Neferet to come into the class.

Geo smirked as he then looked into the front of the class. This was going to be a long day. He couldn't wait for the weekend to start.

Geo held Kimmy's hand as they walked over to the girl's common room. He couldn't wait to sit down and watch the movie with her. But there was something that was beginning to bother him. He needed to stop glancing at her neck. Remember what you learned in Vamp Soc, remember what you learned...in Vamp Soc, Geo reminded himself everytime, repeating it in his head.

Walking hand in hand, Kimmy and Geo made their way back to the girl's dorm, to have their movie night. She wanted to get changed before they did, because her uniform was not exactly movie watching attire. Plus, it was quite uncomfortable. They entered the dorm and Kimmy looked at Geo. "I need to get changed, but make yourself at home!" she smiled and kissed him softly, before skipping off and up the stairs to her room.

Kimmy looked in her closet. Sighing, she rummaged through, trying to find something nice to wear that wasnt too casual but wasnt to special. Eventually, she settled for a pretty white dress, with blue trimming and a beautiful blue ribbon. The dress that matched her bow. [As seen in my profile picture]. Checking in the mirror, Kimmy put a little more eye makeup on and then some shiny lip gloss, and ruffler her fringe so it was eaven. Smiling in satisfaction, Kimmy made her way from her room and skipped back down the stairs to see Geo.

Before she met him on one of the comfy sofa's, she wandered into the kitchen and found some popcorn. Quickly putting it into the microwave, and pulled out a bowl and some sugar. When the popcorn was done, and as sweet as she could get it, she wandered back over to Geo. "Hey you!" she smiled as she plonked down next to him, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek.

After Kimmy went upstairs to change, Geo got up and took a good look through the common room's movie collection. So many different movies from dramas to sci-fi's to romances to historical ones to even documentaries. He was a little down that the girl's common room had no horror movies and felt a little guilty that guys' did.

Then he drew his attention to a guy that sat down in one of the recliners. It was Jimmy from his fencing class. "Hey," Geo said, trying to make conversation.

Jimmy threw his eyebrows together in confusion once Geo spoke to him. He had never spoken to anyone before unless asked a question.

"Dude, did you just say something?" he asked Geo. And then he noticed Geo's little girlfriend enter the room as he got up. "Whatever, see ya around," he said as he walked into the kitchen to try to find some brown pop he heard Zoey talking about to Erin.

Marley woke up to sounds of shuffling. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes and sat up in her bed. She checked the clock and frowned. She had slept the entire night. She stood up, and walked out of her room, not even bothering to change. The sounds from the room over were just too loud that she could go back to bed. When she stepped out of her room, she saw the girl from before. She was the one laying around with her boyfriend. She ducked behind a corner before the girl got a chance to see Marley, and noticed how well she was dressed. Marley was still in her plain black shirt and skirt. After a long time of debating in her mind, she finally pulled herself together enough to go back downstairs.

She heard lots of voices. She saw the girl and guy couple together again, big surprise, but she also saw another boy she hadn't recognized. She could tell it wasn't Freddy, though, which saddened her a bit. She decided to steer clear of the couple, thinking it'd be best to let them be and went into the kitchen with the boy. He seemed to be scrummaging around everything, looking a bit like a robber. Marley coughed uncomfortably. "Uhm...Are you looking for something?" She murmured.

Freddyy jumped at the sound of a voice. He looked over to see Marley standing before him. "Oh, umm, I heard there was brown pop somewhere here, but too bad...can't find nothing," he said as he let out a sigh and looked down at Marley.

"How're you feeling?" he asked her.
