She laughed alittle, his smile was so cute "uhm yea im readdy when you are". she looked in the parking lot and saw her red convertable. she didnt say anything wanting the walk. it would give her time to talk to him and find out how he ticks. she smiled.

James led her out of the parking lot and onto the sidewalks, waiting to hear what stores she wanted to go into, trying to find out what she likes. He seemed to be interested in this girl. And he likes that. A lot.

"so what do you wanna do first?" she said smiling.

Marley sighed, throwing away her trash after him, and walking outside, letting him follow. She stopped at a bench and brushed off her skirt before sitting down. She then leaned back and smiled up at the sky. "It is..." She agreed, starting to count the stars and trying to see if she could count them all.

Lilly smiled at Steven "Yea...I get told that alot..." Lilly looked down avoiding his eyes.

Takayumi grabbed a tray and began stacking it with food. She looked for that table that Steven said he would be at, and sat down.

"Hmm....how about lets get something to eat first." He pointed to a pizza shop,

Don't count the stars," Freddy warned her. "You'll miss your place," he said with a chuckle.

Steven looked up at the other girl. "Hullo," he said as he scooched aside for room for her to get in.

"Hello, im Lilly." Lilly smiled at the girl.

Marley smiled. "Well, I just did loose my place since you said that, but I was doing pretty good." She laughed, playfully hitting his shoulder. "I was at thirty-two, and I can't remember which ones were counted and which weren't." She laughed. "Maybe I shouldn't try." She thought with a shy smile.

"ok!'' she said smiling, she was up for some food.

Takayumi smiled at Steven. "Hello. I'm surprised I found you." She turned toward the girl. "Hello, Lilly. I'm Takayumi."

Steven smiled. "Hullo, I'm Steven." he said as he nodded his head.

Freddy laughed hard. "Goal accomplished," he joked as his laugh then faded away as he then looked back up at the sky and began to count himself.

James smiled. He was glad because he's been craving pizza for a whole week and it was next to torture to him.

Nicoletta walked with him into the pizza shop. "what kind you want?" she asked "i like peperonni."

Marley's face went neutral and her expression was soft. Somehow, she wanted to stay out here forever. She broke her gaze, unable to count any more, and looked at Freddy, watching him instead of the sky. He was a nice guy. A good friend. She looked around the courtyard, seeing other students, all going to and fro, and wondering how it ever stopped being... simple. She sighed and closed her eyes, feeling completely relaxed.

James smiled. "I like pepperoni too," he said as he then walked up to the counter and placed an order. After they got their pizza, James dove into his and let out a moan. "Goddess, I missed this," he said as he rolled his eyes and took a sip of pepsi.

Freddy then looked down at Marley. "What?" he asked with a playful smile.

SHe smiled as they bit into their pizza. She giggled when he moaned. it was kinda sexy to her "ya i guess i did too"

James laughed out of how happy he was at the moment. "I'm glad you're here with me," he told her.

"Hello, want to sit?" Lilly asked.

Marley laughed, opening her eyes and looking at him. "Nothing." She shrugged. "Just tired all of a sudden." She said, smiling. She sat up, rubbing her eyes and stood up. "How much longer until class starts?" She asked.

"Sure." Takayumi sat down beside Lilly. "So are you new here?"

Lilly smiled, "Yes...well sort of...I transferd here for the California House of Night." Lilly looked down and realized she wasnt eatng anything, "Im gong to get my food...is that okay with you two?" Lilly asked Takayumi and Steven.

Freddy laughed a little. "It's the weekend. We have basically two more days till class," he told her. "And if you're tired, you should head back to your dorm to get some sleep," he told her.

Steven smiled. "That's fine," he replied as he then watched Lilly leave the table. "So, Takayumi...how are you liking House of Night?" he asked her

Takayumi looked up at the girl. "Yeah. Don't get lost." She turned her attention to Steven. "It's pretty cool. I still don't know where everything is, but I'll figure it out. How long have you been here?"

Steven smiled at her. "Four years," he told her. "If you ever need a guide, do know that I'm more than happy to help you out," he assured her as he drank the last of his juice.

Nicoletta blushed, "i'm glad im here with you too."
