Rick chuckled and loved but felt bad at the same time when he watch her in agony. He then sat back in his seat and kept his hands and legs to himself. "That's just about it," he said as he went back to his burger. "So, you still up for the tutoring?" he asked her when the waiter came back with their drinks.

((It's true, man! No joke, that was on my final! I probably skipped class that day my professor taught it to us, but shoot at least I knew what it was before I bubbled in the wrong answer!))

"Yeah, definitely," Eclair nodded, as she recovered from her height of sensation. She uncrossed her legs and tried to act normally. She couldn't wait to explore the rest of this part of town, not knowing when or if she'll be able to come back. "Yes, ahem," she said, clearing her throat, "my schedule is pretty much clear this week after school. No extracurriculars whatsoever. Besides my other homework, and the reading you assigned, I don't have anything else."

After they had finished their dinner and Rick had paid for everything, he showed Eclair out the back door and as soon as they were alone, he took her hand and let her down the path, past the trees, and then finally into the small secluded rocky shore. He looked at her and smiled as the sun was beginning to set.

((That's fine. I'm sick as hell right now, so probably a good idea for me to get to sleep too...soon after I finish this post.))

Before they left, Eclair had to switch her heels to flats, due to the unstable terrain there. Luckily she got the fashion tip from a book she read. No use in wasting money on nice shoes if she was just gonna hike in them. Taking in the sights, she was happy to finally get some alone time with Rick, with no people to interrupt them. She was ecstatic as Rick was holding her hand the entire way, waiting to see where he would take her. If this is what it was like away from the city, then she never wanted to leave!

When they finally arrived at the ocean, she smiled. It was beautiful, but she never understood the appeal of a sunset on the beach with a guy. Rick was going to have to teach her why people admired it. If anything, she wanted to see the sun rise. Still, they were alone, and Eclair was trying to figure out what to say to break the ice.

Once Rick and Eclair were fully alone, Rick turned to Eclair and smiled, taking a step closer while he was still holding her hand. "So, do you like it?" he asked her with a wide smile.

He then slowly desented his head down until their lips connected. He kissed her so sweetly and gently at first. After that, their kiss began to deepen as his hands slid to her neck and slowly down to her waist. Wow, she has a good figure, was the first thought to his his mind when his hands stopped at her waist.

She didn't get the chance to answer as Rick had kissed her. Her response was to grab the lapels of his shirt and pull him closer. Eventually, she pulled the two of them down on the ground to sit on the stone terrain, glad that the rock was flat instead of pointy. Eclair dared to run her hands through his hair, and pulled back from the kiss. "You gel your hair a little too much, you know that?" she giggled.

Rick chuckled as he had his hands supporting his weight on each side of her waist. He gave her a shrug. "I just wanted it to look perfect for you," he replied as he bet his head back down and lightly kissed her lips, then just looking at her and smiling like a fool. He was falling a thousand feet for her and he was loving the feeling.

"But I like your hair when it looks natural," she admitted, tracing a finger down the center of his chest. She rested her head on him to look at the sunset. "I still don't get why people do this kind of thing when they're on a date." Eclair placed her hands in her lap, innocently naïve and clueless as she was on her first ever date. "What else do people do on dates? My brother goes out with girls a lot, but I never really bothered to ask him." Her thoughts began to swim in her head that this had been a bad idea - that she didn't know what she was doing, and Rick was probably way more experienced than her in every aspect. She clenched her hands as she turned to look at the waters.

"You do?" he asked, surprised. "Alright, I'll leave it natural for you," he said with a smile.

When she asked that question, he froze and got up from the ground and looked at anywhere but her. "Well people mess around...they talk...they make out...they cuddle...it all really depends how deep the relationship is," he then said as he shrugged and looked back at Eclair.

"I'm sorry," she smiled, looking down. "It's just that I've only heard about this stuff in stories, gossip, movies, and especially those romance novels." Eclair was once again fidgeting with her fingers at this point. Still in a sitting position, she listened to what Rick had to say. "We've made out. We've talked and kind of cuddled. But we just started dating." Looking back up at him, she put her hands on either side of herself on the rock she was sitting on. "How are we gonna deal with this while school's still in session? It's too easy to get caught there. I see you first thing in the morning, and last thing in the afternoon before school lets out for the day."

Rick just nodded his head. He looked over at her and sat down to her level, lightly grabbing onto her hands. "Hey, we just started, give it some time. If we're smart and careful enough, we won't get caught," he told her.

Then he sweetly kissed her for a moment. Then he looked into her eyes and smiled as he rested his forehead against her's. "If you want to go home now, you can," he said.

"That sounds like a good idea," she said. "Um...can you drop me off at Sherri's house? Alec will get suspicious if I come home early. I can tell you how to get there once we get back into town." Her palms were sweaty out of nervousness, wondering why she agreed to actually go on a date with her teacher of all people. "So where does this leave us?"

Rick smiled and kissed her. "You as my girlfriend," he said with a smile as he got up and outstretched his hand for her to grab onto as he led her back to the restaurant. "No problem."

Her lips formed into a really excited smile. "Then I'm glad to hear it...boyfriend." She stood up, with the help of Rick, and followed him as they made their way back to the restaurant. "When's the next time I'll see you?"

Rick chuckled to how she was speaking. "Alright. Um. Well I'll see you tomorrow. But for the tutoring thing and as far as seeing each other as boyfriend and girlfriend, whenever you'll have the time," he answered as he helped Eclair into the car.

She buckled herself in after Rick helped her into the car. "Tomorrow. Saturday. What did you have in mind?" Eclair figured she was going to end up spending a lot of afterschool time with Rick, probably at his place if he'd let her. She could imagine it now - her binder and other school stuff while she was doing homework, and then later, a lot of making out.

Rick smiled and nodded his head. "Sounds like a plan. We can do that around noon. Ummm....well we could, uh...I'll think of something," he said as he drove off, following the directions to Sherri's house. He didn't want their little 'date' to end, but all goods things must end in order for them to begin again.

By the time they got in front of Sherri's house, Eclair leaned over and whispered to Rick. "Sherri and Sabby are upstairs looking through some binoculars. They can't see us from this angle, so there's one last thing I wanna do." Hesitating a little, she licked her lips and proceeded to kiss him once again.

Rick chuckled and kissed her back passionately, placing his hands on each side of her face.

She quickly pulled away once she couldn't breathe anymore. "So," she started, licking her lips again. "I'll see you tomorrow, then." Eclair got her purse and shoes out of the car as she hopped down. Waving goodbye to Rick, she smiled and walked up the pathway to Sherri's, where the other girls were already running downstairs to unlock the door for her.

The next day, when Eclair made it to his house successfully, Rick placed two cans of Coke on the table as he sighed and sat down opposite of her. When she had came, he already wanted to kiss her, but he tried his hardest to keep himself from that. They were...tutoring.

"So...what do you want to do first?" he asked as he gave her the look that pleaded for her to tell the truth.

She smiled. "I guess we could watch some TV and flip through your family photos," she suggested. "I wanna see what you looked like growing up and where you came from - California, right?" It was a little awkward being at Rick's house, but Eclair knew they weren't going to be interrupted anytime soon, probably with the exception of the daily mail, being that it was still Saturday.

"You know my friends were totally bombarding me with questions last night, right? Their parents were out for the night, too so we just gossipped." A typical seventeen year old, she didn't know how to act around Rick when he was nearly a decade older. Glancing at the Coke on the table, she remarked, "You like your sodas a lot, don't you?"

Rick sort of lost his smile. "What did you tell them? Wait, you didn't tell them about us...did you?" he asked gently with a cringe set to his eyes. "Ah, it doesn't matter," he then decided. Teenagers are all about gossiping. He was there and he knew how exciting it could be.

"Oh, umm, there's some albums from my high school years on that bookshelf behind you," he said as he pointed to the four layered bookshelf behind her. "They're not much, but you get to see what I was like," he said as he shrugged.

Then he glanced down at his not half empty Coke can and shrugged. "Yeah...I need my caffeine and it's better than a stereotypical teacher drinking coffee," he said with a shrug set to his shoulders. He then offered her a can. "Want one?" he asked her. "I know you must be dying for one after a long week of school," he said, tempting her.

Eclair smirked in satisfaction. "They asked. What was I supposed to do? They knew all along I liked you. I never kept it a secret from them - they're my best friends. By the way, they're really jealous, but they're not the type to go and do what I did, although they do like guys from your age range," she teased. "I can't stand high school boys. They're such jerks." She was talking while standing in front of the shelf, her legs entwined together as she stood on her tiptoes, and one forefinger on her lips as she was selecting an album from the shelf.

"Nah, I'll pass," she said, in response to Rick's offer of another Coke.

Not knowing which one she'd end up with, Eclair selected an album from the middle and lay herself on the floor, on her stomach, beginning to flip through it. Her feet were up in the air as she rested her elbow on the floor, and her head on one hand. "So when did you move to this small town, and why?"

"I moved here when I was 14. We moved here because my parents wanted to live closer to my grandparents," he answered as he went ahead and sat down beside Eclair, picking out certain pictures and telling her the story behind them.

He pointed to a picture of him when he was in tenth grade. "There I was. I was trying out a new hairstyle and I stuck with it for two years, but decided to let it grow out," he said with a chuckle.
