I almost always stack heavy hitters... and usually... it works up to the end...

I can never figure out a good placement to get zero hits :c I was reading the high score comments, and I saw that Scholar recently got zero hits.

I'm so jealous. I blame my laptop. :c

oh its not hard, you just need to change your set up....the setup guide scholar has is really hard to do if you dont have a good good gaming rig or media rig...since flash games eat up your processor and ram and it really lags out a lot....

as soon as i can find a solid build to follow i'll try to make a guide too : D

as it is, the build i use is pretty fickle and a split second lag throws it all off... : / a lot of mid round selling and buying..

well my processor on my laptop is fairly decent I think I just do too much other stuff while I'm playing it.. I have a bad habit of leaving like 8 windows open while I'm on 4 different IM accounts and try playing in that condition.

I think my laptop would be so much happier all of the time if I didn't have two twitter processes, two or three IM accounts with varying IMs going, sometimes two different browsers with any numbers of tabs open, music playing, and a chat running

Yeah the music happens too... but sometimes I'll either be listening to the music on the game or have my MP3 player going on... energy hog... FTW!

I'm playing a game right now -- I'll post my most recent successful layout. (Though, admittedly I let one through on level 10. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.)

I guess it depends on the lag on your internet provider gives you, i suppose.

sorry tels, but thats wrong...your ISP has nothing to do with the lag in the game.

it all depends on the machine you're using....and your setup. if it lags too much, dont follow scholar's guide or you'll never beat the game because this setup uses too much balloon throwers.

try playing around with different setups and stack more net throwers vs balloon thrower.

also scholar,
if you do do a contest, take into consideration...the selling of towers on the final level.

my length is 1162 and my gold is over 11k.



also, just my recommendation, try using a cake thrower where i have it placed...it works wonders for level 10 and any stragglers ; )

i actually lagged a bit on the first level cause i was setting up procaster, lol...but you really only need 3 balloon throwers for level 1

Found: Yeah, that's a concern I've got about the contest. It's so easy to sell things and make it look like you didn't need them to beat the game. Maybe making people take a video? I don't know how easy it is to set up a video capture.

I posted my alternate setup in the first post, too, to show that the way I posted is only one way.

holy cow, thats an awesome set up xD i bet it gets a bit hectic in the center! xD i was thinking about doing that also though, setting all my balloon throwers there~

its not hard to setup, but i dont think video capture should be required xD... it does lag your game up a bit

You don't need this guide to be rich. It doesn't earn you any more gold than any other method.

With the cap being 250, and two games earning me 200.... I don't bother playing a third round for 50g. So I'm not even making the cap on the days I remember to play.

It doesn't bother me though. I'm pretty casual about my gold gathering. XD

Yup. I usually play a few rounds of fishing or Spazewalk after that.
