Miller stayed quiet. He ate his food in a weird manner. Though, he couldn't help it at all. It wasn't his fault that he'd been born this way. Though sometimes he wished he was just normal.

Cormac watched him, idly, barely touching his own food. His father sighs, not sure what to do about Cormac. Cormac fiddles with his fork, silent. He really didn't want to go back to public school. He'd gotten picked on for everything from his hair to his flamboyant nature. The worst of it was him getting tied to a flagpole from a rope and the kids lighting a strip of the rope on fire. Cormac, thankfully wasn't injured that time, but he's been afraid of public schooling ever since.

Miller managed to finish his food. He sat there quietly, watching to make sure that everyone wasn't messing up their plates.

Cormac's father sighs. "Eat, Cormac. You're not--" Cormac glowers at him. "No. I'm not. Shut it. And I wasn't ana, then either. I googled it." He rolls his eyes. "And wow, my inner geek is coming out."

Miller hated not understanding what was going on. His mother asked a question and he just began to go on and on about computers.

Cormac's father stares. "Inner geek? You're all geek. You LARP. You're a geek." Cormac rolls his eyes. "I like hitting people with foam covered plumbing pipes." He grins at that. "Yay violence. Yay being a geek as well."

Miller couldn't even hear them. He stared straight at his mother, though not really seeing her, and went on and on. She left to start cleaning up, but he didn't notice, just kept talking.

Cormac gets up and wanders back to his room, stopping by the stairs. "Dad. I need PVC pipe. My staff and sword both got busted last time." His father snorts. "3/4 again?" "Mm-hm." Cormac grins again and heads into his room, locking the door behind him. He turns on his music and begins singing to himself, while fake fighting.

Sooner or later Miller stopped and blinked. He looked around. His mother was washing dishes. He stood up awkwardly. "Honey. Go take a shower." His mother told him. With a jerky nod he walked to the bathroom and closed it, not locking it. He never locked the door. Made him feel wierd. He undressed and turned the water on making sure it was at the right temperature. He had a thermometer and everything. Very compulsive indeed... Soon enough he was in the shower.

Cormac takes out his old staff and eyed it. "Why did you have to crack?" he muttters. He then logged into the chat, and glances at it. Frowning at the lack of people, he goes back to practicing. He hums to himself as he does, content.

When Miller was done showering and changed into his pajama pants and boxers, only, he sat down at his computer and signed into his chatroom. He saw his friend there.

Syndrome_Boy0923:: Hey

Cormac stops staff flailing when he hears the ding. He glances over at the computer, content.

Little-Wolf601: Hey, how're you doing?

He went back to staffing as he waited.

Miller watched the screen. He typed back.

Syndrome_Boy0923:: Okay.... You?

Cormac staffed a bit and accidentally knocked the computer off his bed. He sighs. He picked it up and inspected it. After seeing it was okay, he responded.

Little-Wolf601: I give up. Since I left my place I've been having issue after issue. Like what I just did. I was playing around with my staff (PVC pipe covered in foam) and knocked my laptop off of my bed. I just quit.

Miller couldn't play those games. He was bad.

Syndrome_Boy0923:: Oh. I can't play those games.

Cormac tossed his staff towards his closet. frowning. "Stupid fail. I gotta retape you anyway..." He rolled his eyes as he responded.

Little-Wolf601: Normally I don't hit things, other than people, but I get yelled at 'cause I hit too softly. XD I'm a mage so I only hit to defend myself.

Miller laughed lightly. A rare sight to see. He had an infectious smile and laugh, if you were lucky to see it.


Syndrome_Boy0923:: I'd be happy to be on the same team as you, if I could play those games.

Cormac grinned, amused.

Little-Wolf601: At least I stopped running away from fights. My friend Cassiel would grab me and drag me back. It was entertaining to watch.

Miller blinked.

Syndrome_Boy0923:: You shouldn't fight.

Cormac shrugged at the computer.

Little-Wolf601: It's not like I'd actually injure anyone. We're not allowed to hit hard enough to leave marks. And he use a lot of foam. But, at least I'm done Casting. When I casted I only got one hit per body part before I died. ...Which meant I died right after walking in. XD

Miller was a little confused.
