((It really is great! I love Irish music, or however you call it. It sounds Irish to me, lol :D ))
Ren chuckled a bit, feeling more at ease. Had she been without Faith, she wasn't sure how she would react to the entire trip. She would probably still be crouched in the woods, freaking out about what Ting had told them. She saw the fox begin to stir, and then nearly choked when Faith handed her the reigns. "Gah, you're...no, don't give them to me!" She squeaked, tightening her grip on the reigns a bit too much. The horse made a disgruntled sound and shook its head. Ren winced and forced herself to relax slightly, though her heart was beating slightly too fast. "This...this isn't good...erm...nice horsie. Don't throw us, okay?" She told it, sounding rather pathetic, but she couldn't help it. She was way out of her element. Still, she knew that Faith couldn't help the fox with reigns in her hand, so she tried to keep breathing and keep the horse steered towards the castle. It was fortunate that the horse seemed to know which way it was going, because it was doubtful that Ren knew what she was doing.

Reiga, being soothed by the music, began to calm down as he snuggled back into the girl's hands. He let out a soft sigh, and went back to his sleep.
Abel looked when he heard the girl say,"This...this isn't good...erm...nice horsie. Don't throw us, okay?" Abel smiled to himself as he stiffled a chuckle. Tundramares were notorious for being high maintenance horses that required a lot of attention. They were very finicky animals as well. He walked his horse up to the two girls and said," We are almost to my house. It's just about another 10 minutes away from where we are." Abel continued to ride his horse until he got to his little cottage house. Dismounting his horse he walked in through the front door, and began preparing his bed for his Lord.

"That long? Ren blurted out, unable to help herself. She flushed and made a face. "Erm, sorry..." She muttered, cursing her rampant mouth once more. She was relieved when they reached the cottage, though she fell when she dismounted. "Ahh, I miss my motorcycle," She muttered once more, but was relieved to be back on the ground once more. She quickly got up and brushed herself off before holding out her hand to Faith, figuring it would be hard to dismount carrying the god. "Don't fall, or I'll have to call you a copycat," she lamely joked, grinning as best she could. Oddly, she looked almost child-like with the smudge of dirt across her cheek and chin and her clothes still lightly dusted from her fall.

“Sorry Ren.” Faith said to her, apologizing for handing her the reins as she smiled, chuckling a little bit as she held the god out to her friend, watching as she took him from her, before she skillfully and quickly dismounted the horse. Patting the horse’s neck and kissing it’s cheek before she smiled at Ren. “Unlike you I have experience with horses.” She said teasingly to Ren, chuckling a bit before she followed her friend into the Knight’s home, slightly itching to take the fox back and care for him. She started to twist her bracelet once more, before she looked at her birthmark, finding it comforting before she looked around the house for the kitchen. "Be careful." She called to Ren, not wantting the god to hurt her friend when they were just trying to help him, she finally found the kitchen and began to fill a bowl with water, going out side to put some snow in it before she went to find where the fox was at. She set the bowl on the night stand as she looked at everyone in the room, blushing slightly before she shied away from the knight once more.

"You can keep your horses, I'll keep my Harley." Ren muttered as she carefully set the horse down. She pulled the vial of potion from her pocket and wondered how they were supposed to give it to him. She watched Faith set down the bowl of water and asked, "Do we mix this in water or just give him some? God, that man didn't give us any...oh, there're directions on the bottle. Oops." She quickly read the slip of paper glued to the bottle. "A spoonful every three hours until it's gone, huh? Want the honors?" She asked Faith, knowing that she was better with animals than Ren was. She passed over the vial and looked up at the knight. "So, what's your name again? I kinda forgot...it's been a weird day," she admitted in her usual blunt manner.

"Then it is agreed then. You keep your bike and i keep to the horses." Faith said to her as she chuckled a little bit, her voice was barely audible as she took the vial from her friend, digging around for a spoon so that she could give it to the fox. She finally found one, climbing onto the bed until her lap was underneath the fox's head, moving him until he was laying on his back, his muzzle towards the ceiling as she opened his muzzle slightly. She uncorked the vial and filled the spoon up, carefully closing it once more as she turnned his head slightly to the side, she then began to feed him the medicine. Once all of it was in his mouth she put a little water in it and then commenced with holdding his muzzle close, forcing him to swallow it no matter how much he didn't want too. Once it was all done, she sighed slightly and let the fox go, leaning back against the wall as she started to relax, after all forcing a animal to take medicine took more out of people then those who did not interact with animals, knew.

Reiga was in his own little world. He was in the land between consciousness and unconciousness. He was at peace. He hated himself for being so weak in front of his guards, and even more so in front of these two complete strangers. He was the god of the North for gods sake. He was supposed to instill regality and fear in people. There was no way he could do that in the form of a tundra fox now. He felt something being shoved into his mouth. It tasted completely revolting. After he was forced to swallow it, he grimaced. He felt some of his power come back to him though, and reverted back into his human form in a flash of light.
Abel looked over when he heard the girl that was talking about something called a harley say,"So, what's your name again? I kinda forgot...it's been a weird day." Abel looked at her, and responded with," My name is Abel Farns. I work for Lord Reiga as a guardian." He then added," I would die for him." After he was done answering there was a flash from the other side of the room. Abel ran over to where it had come from, and instantly relaxed when he saw that it was just Lord Reiga turning back into his human form. There would be less strain on his body if he was in his true form. "So I am not the best cook in the entire world, but are you hungry?"

Faith squeaked when she saw a flash of light comming from the fox and instantly scrambled away from it, considering her last experience with a flash of light. When it cleared away there was a man on the bed instead of a fox which made he shy away from it even more, she instantly became uncomfortable around the men, finding the situation a little out of her control considering she now had to deal with people. She went over to Ren and smiled slightly to her, motioning her head to the two men before she snuck out of the house to take care of the horses, considering she needed a breather and they still needed to be taken care of.

Ren's eyebrows shot up. Not many people showed that kind of loyalty towards their bosses. Ren would probably die for Faith and her family (or at last her brothers, she was still on the outs with her mother), but to a boss? "That's loyalty," she murmured. She was surprised when she saw the god turn back into a human. Faith would be slightly disappointed by that, she figured. She was correct, and soon Faith was leaving the house for air, and probably to see the horses again. Ren waved at her, and then turned back to the men. At Abel's words, she chimed in, "I can cook. I have to cook for my brothers all the time, so it's no big deal," she offered. At least she could do something. "Also, if we get on his good side he might be able to help us," she thought.

Reiga, in his slumber, let his conciousness wander around him. He let it wander outside where he saw the one girl there that was outside attending to the horses. From what brief conversation that he gathered when he was going in and out of consciousness he gathered that she was more of an animal person. He suddenly regretted changing back into his human body. It wasn't really his fault though that he had run out of magic to support his fox form, but he felt guilty none the less. He settled down in the snow behind the girl and off to one side observing the girl. She really did have a knack for animals. Even the tundramares were notorious for being high maintenance animals that required a lot of attention/patience. Yet, here she was taming the most feared pack animals of the north save for the Frost Drakes and the Stalwolves.
Abel was in the kitchen bustling around busily getting pots and pans out for the coming meal that he was going to make. The least he could do was make sure that Lord Reiga was comfortable, and that his healing progressed. He turned on the fire on the stove and began boiling some water. He wasn't very good at cooking, but he would make the best darn meal that he could make if it meant that Lord Reiga would get better faster.

Lyn, following the footprints in the ground, saw that Abel and the two girls had taken Lord Reiga to Abel's house. 'That's probably for the best. Lord Reiga needs care as soon as possible if he's to get better.' He guided his Lord's horse up to the house and started tying it to a post. Just then, one of the two girls came out of the house. Lyn's hand shot to the hilt of his sword but he didn't draw, and once he was sure he recognized the girl, he put his hand back down and continued tying the horse. "Is... his majesty all right?" Lyn asked, without looking up.

Ren saw that Abel was taking care of the meal and shrugged. "Just tell me if you need help," she offered, sitting down on the ground and leaning against the wall. Part of her wanted to wander back out to where Faith was, but the other part of her didn't want to go back out to the cold. Also, she didn't want to leave after she had just promised to help if it was needed. "So, have you worked with him long? How does one become a guardian? You must be pretty good at fighting, huh?" She commented in her usual rambling style.

Reiga saw Lyn approach the house, and decided that it was probably best for him to be returning to his body. It was very straining on his body.
Abel looked up from the boiling water when he heard the one remaining girl say," Just tell me if you need help." "Thanks," said Abel. "No offense, though but you are guests in my house, and I want to take care of you. Besides." He looked over at Lord Reiga's sleeping form. "Lord Reiga would be angered if I made his guests have to work." He went back to cooking when he heard the girl say," So, have you worked with him long? How does one become a guiardian. You must be pretty good at fighting." He smiled at the last part. Abel decided that it wouldn't hurt telling the girls about his past, or how he became a guardian.
" Well," he began. "I have been working for Lord Reiga since I was a young child. I was born in the village we were in, but I was shunned because I was born with odd features." He looked at the girl with his piercing blue eyes which were unnatural for someone born in the village. "They cast me out." He said the last part venomously. " One can become a guardian through various means. They do a task for him of the God's choosing, or they challenge him to a fight and win. I challenged him to a fight and won. As for Lyn that's another story entirely. I'll let him tell you that if he wants to. So I guess that answers your last question too right?"

"Ah, that makes sense. Still, I don't mind. I'm not always good at just sitting," she told him. She listened as he explained the story, and found it odd that someone would be shunned due to something that wasn't in his control. "You must be pretty strong to beat a god," she commented with a grin. "It's too bad about the people in your village though. I mean, your eyes are pretty. I know a lot of people with blue eyes, and they wouldn't be shunned. Or I doubt it. I guess I'm kinda shunned by some people, too, but that's mostly because they think I'm obnoxious," she said, grinning broadly. "I don't know how to shut up. Sadly, it was worse than when I was a kid. I really had no restraint," she informed him. Her dark eyes that seemed violet in some lights twinkled and she brushed her purple hair from her face. "Thank god for Faith. She's the only one who can put up with me."

Reiga: N.A.
Abel hummed to himself as he added spices and seasoning to the boiling water He also added noodles to the water, and it immediaty stopped boiling.. " Are you or your friend allergic to anything? Well if you want to come and do something. Then do you want to help me by cutting the vegetables for the salad and the stir fry?" said Abel as he took out a knife and set it on the table. "As for beating a god. I am pretty sure I won on pure luck. I was 9 when I challenged him to a fight. I could barely hold the weapon I am using now. I think I threw him off because he was laughing so hard, and he lost his concentration." He turned the heat a lot, and walked over to where Reiga was sleeping. He began taking off some of his heavy armor so that he could lie more comfortably without the metal digging into his skin as he slept.

"I......yes." Faith said to the man that had come up to the home, shocked that another person was talking to her, she wasn't much for talking to people and yet here he was, talking to her. "I don't really talk to people." she said to him shily as she, finished brushing the horses down with some hay, tossing it aside before she commeanced with feeding them and kissing thier forehead as she took the saddles and bridals off of them. She pat them on the neck once more before she put the tack up, she then looked over to the horse that the man was tying to a post. "You should take the tack off and let her wander....it will be good for exspecially with her hurt leg. It will keep it from be coming lame." she said to him, finding that talking about animals to someone was easier then trying to actually talk about people things, she walked over to the mare and began to take the tack off, grabbing some hay and rubbing her down with it.

Lyn thought a moment, then untied the rope. Although he owned a horse, he only had the most basic understanding of how to care for them. The girl seemed to know what she was talking about and it was certain that Lyn didn't want Lord Reiga's horse's leg to become lame. Lyn also didn't like talking very much, or rather, he had difficulty knowing what to say. However, Lyn felt he needed to say something, if for nothing else than to try and rid himself of the guilt he felt for Lord Reiga's condition. "If I recall correctly, the other girl called you... Faith? I'm Lyn Revis, Guardian of the God of the North." He bowed slightly as he spoke. Then he remembered that the girl seemed to have spoken a little more clearly and calmly when she had talked about animals, so he figured that was as good a place to start as any. "How long have you worked with horses?"

"That is my name." Faith said to him as she stroke the forehead of the thundramare, kissing her on the muzzle before she stepped out the way so that the mare could walk slowly over to the others and eat with them. "I worked with horses since i could walk and hold a brush." she said with a smile on her face, breathing deeply before she unwrapped her wrists to look at them, they weren't bleeding as much anymore but they still hurt. She bent down and rubbed some snow into her wounds before she bounded her wrists again with the ripped off ruffles of her shirt. "I thought knights knew everything about horses, especially since they need them just as much as thier armour." she said shily to him as she stood up once more, looking towards the creatures as she twisted her bracelet once more, she was even be coming cold the longer they stood out in the snow.

"No allergies," Ren said easily and began chopping vegetables. She was quick with a knife and the vegetables were soon sliced into bite-sized pieces. "Still, that's pretty impressive that you challenged him when you were only nine. That's pretty brave," she commented. She saw him take the armor off the god and smiled to herself. Murmuring quietly, she said, "That's devotion. He can't be a bad man, can he, if he inspires this sort of loyalty?" She snagged a piece of vegetable and ate it, contemplating their task and position. She was still unsure of what she was to do. Ting had told them to teach the gods love, yet they seemed to have it, or at least Lord Reiga did. His guardians were obviously devoted to him. "Then again, maybe devotion was different from love?
She quietly mused. She sighed and continued cutting. "I'll see what Faith thinks. Maybe she has a plan...?"

Lyn raised his eyebrows when Faith rubbed snow on her wrists. 'Those are wounds you get from being bound. What happened to her?' He decided it would be best to leave that matter alone. "Generally, yes, but I personally dislike taking horses into battle. It doesn't suit my fighting style. So, for my job, horses are just convenient transportation. That's not to say I don't like horses, of course." Lyn saw Faith shiver slightly. 'She's obviously not from around here, for this weather to give her such a chill. Speaking of which, I don't recognize her accent from any of the four nations.' He eyed her suspiciously for a moment, then decided to drop it. 'She did help us, and I don't sense any ill will from her.' "If you haven't adjusted to the cold, you shouldn't spend to much time outside." Lyn, with his lack of social skills, didn't really wait for a reply. He turned toward the door and walked through.

"That is sad....horses are more loyal and convenient when in battle. You can teach them to fight and you can learn how to fight on horse back also." Faith whispered as she walked over to the horses, petting the withers of the mare, feeling more relaxed now that her attention was turnned more towards a animal. "I.....well okay then." she mumbled once she realized hee wasn't around anymore, sighing in relief, she turnned her attention back towards the creatures as she smiled, continuing to pet the one. "Ya'll be good now. I know you will be here if we need you but be careful. I don't want ya'll to get hurt." she said to them as she hugged thier neck, kissing thier cheek before she turnned and made her way inside, Lyn was right, she wasn't used to this much cold so she had to get in before she got frost bite or the bandits showed up again.

Reiga: N.A.
Abel heard this as he turned his attention back to the kitchen,"That's devotion. He can't be a bad man, can he, if he inspires this sort of loyalty?[...] Then again, maybe devotion was different from love?" Abel didn't really know how to phrase it, nor did he want the god to be angered with him speaking against him. He decided though that the girl should know Lord Reiga's true demeanor though. "There is a difference, a rather large difference, between devotion and love. We are both devoted him for our own reasons, but we do not love him. Personally, it is against my creed and honor to fall for my Lord. Don't get me wrong he is kind, but for the most part he is cold, cunning, and ruthless. He would not hesitate to cut you down if you were in his way." He continued to stir the pot of soon to be boiling pasta. "He wasn't always like this though, he used to love and admire everyone. Me, Lyn, the villagers, everyone. Now he just loves that damned horse."
He spat out the last part as he put his hand on the hot stove. " He once loved a women named Melona. He adored her, he wanted to propose to her on the eve of the Wintermeal Festival 4 years ago. She was a common girl, but she was able to melt the hard exterior around his heart. However, fate decided to play dirty, and the day before he proposed to her she was struck down by the very same poison that he is now coping with. She, being human, died within hours. He was never the same every again. That day he locked his heart away, and became the god you see today. So don't let his coy, innocent, 'loving' nature fool you, as soon as you're not needed anymore you better be on your way." Abel didn't want to scare the girl with this story, but she apparently had the wrong idea about his Lord, and he had wanted to clear that up.

Lyn came in during Abel's explanation of Lord Reiga's personality. He didn't add anything though. Everything he had said was true and Lyn understood that the girls should be aware of it. However, as a loyal subject, Lyn knew what he had to do. He knelt down next to Lord Reiga's bed, not entirely sure if he was even awake. "Your majesty. The perimeter was supposed to be secure. This negligence is unacceptable and I take full responsibility for that failure. In addition, my failure to protect you despite that, is also my fault, and I'll take full responsibility for that as well. I don't ask for your forgiveness, for I do not deserve it, but I do give my deepest regrets. As First Guardian, I'll take any and all punishment for the failures of the military today." Lyn always took full responsibility for failures, even if he was only partially at fault. More so, he would truly believe that he was the only one at fault. In a sense, it was his subconscious way of punishing himself for what had happened when he was a child. And he would accept the punishment for the failures of others as if it were his own. For Lyn, this was his only way of dealing with stress and mistakes: Take full responsibility for everything.

"What made her different?" Faith asked as she walked in, catching the part abou the girl whom the god had loved, for once her curiosity got the better of her and she couldn't help but ask a question. She walked into the kitchen and smelled the food that was being cooked, snatching a piece of vegetable from the cutting board that Ren had cut them on and quickly backed away before Ren got on her about stealing food. She herd Lyn talking, which caused her to look over towards him, frowning as she listened to what he said, it pissed her off slightly, she looked back at Ren, basically having a silent conversation with her about what Lyn had said. She ate the piece of vegetable that she stole as she twisted her barcelet around as she fought the urge to go in there and smack the man, giving him a good lecture about everything that he had just said.
