Ren listened quietly and sighed. "This will make things difficult," she muttered to herself. It was a sad story, she knew, but he wasn't helping himself at all. Closing himself off would protect him from pain, it was true, but it would also make falling in love once more completely impossible. "She must have been a helluva woman to make a god fall," she mused aloud. She made a face as Faith stole the vegetable, but didn't comment, for once. Her focus turned towards Lyn taking responsibility. "Shouldn't they go after the person who actually shot the arrow rather than your friend?" She murmured to Faith, moving closer to her now that the vegetables were finished. She could tell Faith was as irritated with this, but for once Ren managed to stay quiet. Especially now that they had heard his true nature, it would be best not to anger him. It would only defeat their purpose there. Still, it bothered her. Fighting back the words that generally flew so naturally from her mouth, she munched on another piece of vegetable and sat by the fire, contemplating. Her thoughts were momentarily distracted by the thought, "Heh, I'm finally learning to speak internally. Congrats to me," she thought wryly.

((Last post before I head off. It's my roommates 21st B-day so we are going to go and celebrate))
Reiga, who was beginning to feel slightly better with the antidote in him. He heard rather than saw Lyn him apoligizing as if he was to burden everything on his own. "Stop," said Reiga. Opening his eyes Reiga tried to get up, and managed to get into a sitting position. God, it hurt like hell to even do the simplest task of sitting up. He heard the two girls say,"What made her different?" and,"She must have been a helluva woman to make a god fall." Reiga knew that it was probably Abel that began talking about his past, seeing as Lyn had more restraint. "She was gorgeous, and the love of my life. I should have gone with her, and guided her. She went flower picking, and the Sagurina Plant, the plant that killed her and the one that is effecting me, looks exactly like the Tundra Lily which is both of our favorite flower. She wanted to pick a bunch for our proposal day because it is our tradition for the bride in the relationship to give a bouquet of flowers to the groom when the groom gives her a ring."
Before Reiga could continue he began to cough. It became more violent as he coughed up some blood. Reiga wiped his hand across his mouth, and it was coated in blood with a sickly green color mixed in it, his blood was mixed with the poison.
Abel was in the kitchen making food listening to the story. He and Lyn knew about it all too well because they lived through it. Abel became more aware though when the story stopped and Reiga began coughing violently. Looking over he noticed that Reiga was coughing up what looked like blood mixed with some other color. Running over to the other side of the bed he went to go and be attentive to his Lord. "Lyn, what do we do?!"

“Thanks.” Faith whispered to Ren as she hugged her friend, knowing it was hard on her to be so quiet when it was natural for her to burst with words. She heard Reiga speak to them, causing her to blush in slight embarrassment when she did not mean to pry in his life, but she just wanted to know what was so different about the mortal girl to cause this god to fall in love with her. Then he started to cough, which caused her to bite her lip and fight with her self on the inside, since he was a person and she was lost when it came to people, she looked at Ren. Automatically looking to her friend for a answer as to what they should do, she twisted the bracelet some more, worried but unable to bring her self to move over to him to help out, no matter how bad it was. She made her way slowly into the room, picking up the bowl as she held it out to the men, it was clean water and she only used it to help the medicine go down, once the bowl was out of her grasp, she quickly retreated back over where Ren was at.

Lyn looked at the blood and saw the poison mixed in. "Dammit." He muttered under his breath. "The antidote is acting too quickly, it's putting too much strain on his body." It dawned on Lyn that this was probably caused by the fact that Lord Reiga had turned into a fox for a short time. The doctor in the village knew it was Lord Reiga and so he gave out a human sized dose without thinking. However, at the time, Lord Reiga was a small fox. Faith had walked over with a bowl of water, he grabbed it and put it down next to him. "We need Kouls..." He realized that that plant only grew in spring and it was rare so Abel probably didn't have any in his house. 'Come on... what else can we use?!' "Citrus! Get any raw, citrus foods we have. Quickly!" It was less than ideal to rely on this method, but they were pressed for time.

Ren was about to comment on the story (as was her usual) but the urgency of the matter had her losing her words. She stood helplessly with Faith until Lyn ordered citrus. She moved forward quickly towards the food storage, and found several oranges. She gave them a cursory sniff and pinch and found the were fresh enough to be edible. She began to peel the fruit as best she could while moving into the back room, handing pieces of fruit she managed to pry out to Lyn while she continued to rip apart the oranges. "Do you need more?" She asked, her voice tight with nerves.

Lyn glanced at the small pile of oranges. "We better not." He muttered. He undid the bandage on Lord Reiga's shoulder and grabbed a peeled orange. "This is going to sting a bit." He squeezed the orange over the wound. "The citrus counter acts the antidote, it'll make him heal slower... but right now, that's what we need." He grabbed another one, tilted his lord's head back, and squeezed the juice directly into his mouth. Lyn then held Lord Reiga's mouth shut to ensure he would drink it. After he had, Lyn grabbed another orange and squeezed it over the wound. Then he placed the peel of an orange on top of the wound and rebandaged it. He leaned back and looked closely at his lord. "That's the best I know to do for now."

Ren chewed her lip lightly, watching as Lyn worked. "Maybe we should call in another doctor or something? Maybe there's another way to help him...?" She asked. She was no expert on anything medical, as she had no head for science. "Damn, if only there were a hospital that we could take him to. They've got to have specialists in poison. They have it for everything else, god knows. Feet, brain, heart, etc." Frustrated she ran a hand through her hair and began to pace. She looked over at Faith, expressing her impatience and hatred of waiting in limbo with her eyes.

"There are specialists on poison, they are called murders." Faith whispered to Ren as she chuckled a little bit, trying to lighten the mood up in the home, even though it is just to make Ren feel better. She walked over to her friend and patted her on the shoulder, understanding how she was feeling since she knew that Ren wasn't one to be patient. "I should have known not to give him that much antidote in his fox form." she whispered to Ren, feeling guilty about the whole thing considering she was the one who gave him the medicine and now he was healing to fast and could possible die from healing. She bite her lip and started to twist her bracelet once more, after all she was feeling very bad about everything that was going on after all she blamed her self because it was her fault in away.

Reiga didn't know what the hell was going on. There was hustle and bustle all around him. The bandage was ripped right off of his arm, and then it began to sting like a mother. Then there was something liquid like shoved into his mouth. It tasted like an orange. What on God's green earth was going on?! "Sheesh," he thought. "After all of these events he really needed a vacation. A vacation from everything, and everyone."
Abel stood frozen when the two girls went into the food pantry to look for things that had citrus in them. He heard Lyn say something about collecting something called " Kouls." However, he didn't have any of that left in his house, he hadn't had any of that in his house for a while. Kouls, was basically the equivalent of a cure-all medicinal herb that could cure any form of poison ailment. "Why hadn't he restocked on it?" Abel cursed to himself. He didn't know what to do. He didn't know how to help, he felt so useless.

Amaya had long since decided to take her chances. Enemies or not, they were still siblings, they were still family. The 'God' of the South was going to see the God of the North. Amaya's carriage the door to the kingdom, already making her way past shocked and enraged villagers and guards. It was clear it was Amaya - she was the only one who rode with pure black horses and a red and black laced carriage. Gripping her black parasol to keep the sun off her perfectly pale complextion, she banged open the door, inviting herself in.

((True, that's understandable. Time to post))
*Time Skip*
Reiga was doing a little better after his 'citrus treatment.' His magic was stunted to a fault though, and he didn't even notice that there was a large powerful entity outside of Abel's door until it was nearly thrown off of it's hinges. Standing before him was his sister, the God(dess) of the South Amaya. Reiga narrowed his eyes and said with sarcasm in his voice," To what do I owe the pleasure of seeing your wonderful face." Reiga and his sister once had gotten along, but there was some form of falling out between the two of them over something that was very petty. It was so petty that Reiga himself didn't even remember it.
Abel was pre-occupied with feeling helpless when he heard rather than saw the door come flying open. There in front of the door was a women that looked just as regal, if not more, than Lord Reiga himself. This was Amaya God(dess) of the South. She was a force not to be triffled with. She had an attitude and a sharp tongue to back it. Drawing out his sword he got closer to Reiga as he took a fighting stance. He didn't want anything to happen to his Lord, but he would not mess up this time, and he would die for Reiga.

Ren smiled wryly at Faith and shook her head. "It's not your fault. You didn't know that the doc gave human portions," she said to her. "I still say it's the damn shooter's fault, the bastard. Who just shoots someone like that?" She demanded, crossing her arms over her chest and tapping her foot, rather than pacing the room once more. She saw Abel looking just as discouraged and patted his shoulder. Smiling as comfortingly as she could, she said, "He's going to be all right." Whether this was true or not she had no idea; it was just the thing one said in this sort of situation. Still, he was a god after all. "That's right, he's a god. He won't die, he'll be fine," she said, suddenly feeling much better. She grinned broadly, as if they had been worried for nothing.
((then I read the time skip, lol))
Ren jolted as someone barged into the house. She stepped closer to Faith as Abel drew his sword. "What the hell's going on this time? She hissed, panicking once more.

Amaya came into the room and made a mock smile at her brother as she unfolded her black umbrella and put it by her brother's bed. Amaya then saw a flash of silver. Tilting her head to the side almost creepily, she looked at his guard. His sword was out... and he took a stance. Her eyes ran him over almost as if to question his sanity or reasoning. To her? Well... she'd fix that in a moment. "If I wanted my brother dead... we'd be locked in combat now. Injured or not - he can still fight. You almost disgrace him... Put it away." she demanded yet informed at the same time. "And I came to see if you were alive... and to inform that I did not make this attempt upon your life. Despite how much I dislike you... I would never." she told, pulling up a chair to sit down.

"That means she is a goddess.....but i thought he had a brother not a sister." Faith whispered to Ren, feeling even more confused now that this was thrown in the loop, she still have no clue how to show the two of them to love. She stayed close to Ren, after all if things came down to a fight her and Ren could get out of there and let them duke it out. "Well at least we don't have to go look for her." she whispered in Ren's ear as she thought about how they wouldn't have to travel now and could hopfully, get home sooner then they thought they would.

Lyn drew his sword as well the moment the God of the South entered. However, he backed into the corner, hidden from visual sight. Of course, Lady Amaya would know he was there, but it still added to Lyn's favor in battle. When he heard Faith speaking, he immediately realized the danger they were in. Guardians were given special powers by their Gods. Power enough that they could harm Gods and, if the God was careless enough, kill them. However, normal people, like the two girls, wouldn't stand a chance. In addition to this, they were guests, and so it would be a great dishonor to his lord for them to be in danger. He grabbed their wrists and pulled them behind him so they stood in the doorway of the kitchen. He whispered to them, "There's an exit through the kitchen." But, given the expressions on their faces when they knew it was the God of the South, he doubted they would leave. It seemed they were happy to see the God of the South but scared by Abel's and his reactions. 'Who are they? They don't seem to know about the tense relations between the Gods.'

Ren nodded at Faith's words and made a wry face, whispering, "Yeah, lucky us. Too bad we can't go somewhere hot though. Then again, it might not be necessary at all if they kill each other." Her final words were a quiet hiss. She yelped quietly when Lyn grabbed her wrist and pulled both her and Faith behind him. She wasn't sure if she felt better about being behind a man with a sword or worse. On one hand, he had a sword. On the other, having a sword would probably attract more attention than not having a sword. Possibly. It depended on the person...?
She groaned quietly and decided to leave her thoughts to watch the fight. She tuned in long enough to hear her lecture Abel and say that she hadn't had Reiga shot. "Well at least they're not trying to kill each other yet," Ren muttered to Faith, though her voice was slightly louder than she intended. "Still I don't think this is going well..."

"It could be worst. We still have to figure out how to teach them to love since they cut thier hearts off from it." Faith whispered to her before she flinched from Lyn grabbing her wrist and forcing her behind him, she sighed slightly and rubbed at her wrist, seeing that it bleed a little more then it was when she checked on it earlier. She watched the god and goddess, on the edge as she listend closely to everything goingon around them, staying close to Ren since she did not want anything to happen to her best friend, her ice blue eyes looking over the swords and the body language of the god and goddess, relaxing slightly when she noted that they were both on edge but were not going to break out in a fight at the moment, which gave her a chance to figure out how they were going to help them both to love again.

Reiga stared at his sister as he motioned for Abel to lower and re-sheath his weapon. She had a remarkable point, if she had wanted him dead he would have been fighting with her already, probably to the death. Reiga attempted to get out of the bed, but decided that it was probably for the better that he had failed. Reiga took a more familiar approach this time and said," Sister, what exactly are you doing here. I guess you have heard the news of an assasin trying to take my life. From what you said it clearly wasn't you, and obviously it wasn't my ally, the Ruler of the West. Do you think it was your friend, the Ruler of the East. What was his name again." He thought for a moment. "I believe his name was Prince Connel." He scoffed at himself for his rudeness. "Sister, do you want anything to drink or eat? Abel was just making his famous stir fry for supper I bet he would be more than thrilled to continue making it for you." The last thing that he wanted to do was anger her for he didn't know what would happen if they were to get into a fight.
Abel saw Reiga motion to him to put his weapon away. Abel didn't feel comfortable, especially with the Goddess around, but he would listen to Lord Reiga until the day that he died. He re-sheathed his weapon in it's scabbard, and took a more passive stance as he started at Reiga for further instructions. He was still very wary of Amaya. He then heard Lord Reiga say something about feeding Amaya, and he rolled his eyes in annoyance. However, he would be dutiful to his Lord, and if that required making something for the Goddess then that was something that would have to be done.

Ren nodded in agreement with Faith, then chuckled at Abel's disgusted reaction about feeding the goddess. She tried to cover it with a cough, but she just chuckled again. "Crap, this day has been too much," she muttered, stifling giggles. "I think the stress is making me slap happy. Jesus, I thought my family's complicated!" She sniggered a bit more, before she looked at the god and goddess and forced herself to stop. Fortunately, she was quiet, but she wasn't sure exactly who heard her. "God, one of these days I need to cut out my own tongue! I doubt even that would help me," she muttered to Faith.
