Before Derrik knew what he was doing, he saw his life flash before his eyes. One minute he was entranced with her smile and then next his lips were crushed against her's as he lightly pushed her up against the wall. When he realized what he was doing, he shot his eyes wide open and quickly took a step back. "Ohmigod," he breathed. "I-I'm so sorry...I...," he couldn't finish what he was saying due to not know what to say.

Serenity gasped, she was being pushed against the wall all of a sudden. Her head was buzzing her hand was tangled through her teachers hair, before she had a chance to kiss him back he pulled away. If the wall hadn't been supporting her she would have fallen down, she had been in relationships before but had never allowed a guy to kiss her. Her teacher, Mr. Patting a guy she had admired for so long...he had just taken her first kiss.

She gave a weak laugh, "Wow Sir.." was all she was able to say. She realized she still had her hands in his hair, she gently took out her hands. Serenity took his hand in both her hands and put them on her cheek, "don't be sorry sir, because I'm not" she whispered to him. She had a deep red blush on her cheek. Closing her eyes shyly she threw herself onto her teacher and hugged his softly.

Derrik was shocked when she had hugged him. "Uh...you're not?" he asked, still so shocked.

"But...I just kissed you!" he pointed out, really emotional.

As Serenity spoke to him her face was buried in his shirt, she didn't want him to see the embarrassing blush on her face. "No I'm not Mr. Patting, I'm..actually happy..really happy" she whispered. Serenity barely reached his shoulders, she looked up at him still clutching his shirt. "I know you kissed me and no matter how crazy I sound..I'..I've had feeling for you since last year, I don't know why you, how or even when, but I know that my heart beats faster every time I see you" she whispered nervously too him.

"Y-you feel that way too?" Derrik asked, shocked. "Serenity, I've had feelings for you since the day we met," he told her as he looked down at her.

She was just so beautiful and cute to him. He loved it. Every bit of it. Then he lowered his head, searching for another kiss.

"Of course I feel that way" she whispered softly, "I mean..you..your so amazing" she said sighing. She let her hands squeeze his softly, shyly she looked as he bent down for her.

Blushing Serenity stood up on her tip toes and places her delicate hands around his neck she touched her lips to her teachers. Unsure and slightly scared, her violet eyes met his sure, confident dark eyes closing her eyes shyly she kissed him. Her soft lips pressed gently against his.

Derrik smiled as she accepted his offer for the kiss. He wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed back gently. He loved this. So much. He loved how her lips felt against his and he just loved the fact that it felt so right. He wandered if it felt right to her.

Serenity kissed him, she had only ever dreamed about such a wonderful moment with Mr. Patting and now that it was finally here the stupid girl was forgetting to breath! She pulled away from him involuntarily and gasped for breath, she blushed. "I..I'm sorry I've never done this before" she said with a small smile.

She wanted to reach up and kiss him yet again but didn't know wether that was appropriate behaviour or not so she just kept her arms wrapped around his neck and looked at him waiting and watching to see what he would do.

Derrik chuckled, his arms still placed around Serenity. "It's okay," he assured her. Waiting for her to catch her breathe, he kissed her yet again, to see what she would do in return. He hoped he wasn't overly kissing her.

She reached up and pressed her lips back against him. This moment was perfect, she loved this she played with his hair shyly. Her eyes closed, a blush over her cheeks their breathing synchronized it was a beautiful moment for her. Serenity opened her eyes to stare at Mr. Patting still locked in his arms and in the kiss.

After a long few moments of kissing, Derrik let go of her and took a step back, clearing his throat. "We need to get back to our lesson," he said with a nervous laugh.

"So, um, I have a worksheet for you. It's a character outline. I want you to write a story as long as you can and turn it into me next Friday," he said as he got in his messenger bag and took out a folder that was titled "Story Worksheets".

"Uh..uh..yeah sir your right" she blushed and looked away with a small giggle, she shifted her hair behind her ears. Serenity sighed as the kiss ended, work was what was hardly on her mind right now. She seemed so infatuated in the moment, she looked at Mr. Patting, her attention all on him as he spoke.

Serenity brushed her hand gently against his as she took the paper. "Will you..help me start off the story Mr. Patting, I mean like give me a topic? Or can it be about anything I want?" she asked him quietly, she wondered if she could call him Derrick. She looked at his soft dark hair which fell into his eyes in such a lovely manner.

Derrik smiled softly. "Please...call me Derrik," he told her. "Uh, well you said you like romances with mystery...any specific types of pairings your into? Like Jane Eyre and Edward Rochester for an example," he told her.

Serenity thought about it for a moment, "maybe something like Pride and Prejudice, I mean the pairing like Elizabeth and Darcy, even though at the beginning they were sort in argument with each other they fall in love and get married too. Though that has nothing to do with mystery I admit but I think something along the lines of that should be beautiful" she said smiling.

She had chosen that particular couple because just like Elizabeth and Darcy, Serenity's and Derrick's age difference was great too. "Derrick" she said pronouncing his name. She giggled, "it sounds so strange to call you by your first name" she told him blushing.

Derrik just nodded his head. "Alright. You'll need to study that couple," he then said as he took out a folder and began to grade papers. Damn, all I do is grade papers, he thought to himself.

Serenity smiled, "Okay!" she said. She was only too happy to get to spend time with him. She frowned as she noticed his face, "Hey, Derrik do you..want some help marking these? I mean I can arrange them for you if it makes your life easier" she asked him giggling. "You don't look too happy about marking these" she said, she shyly moved closer to him and rested her chin on top of his head.

Derrick chuckled. "Thanks, Serenity, but I'm afraid this is something I have to do on my own," he said with a stressed sigh. He smiled when he felt her rest her chin on his head. He placed a hand on the side of her face in response.

"Alright, I understand" she said giggling. She liked the way his hands felt on her cheek, warm and soft, she rubbed her cheek shyly against his hand. "Professor? Are you sure this isn't a dream?" she whispered too him. She felt like she was floating, this felt so unreal, just to test it out she kissed the top of his head and than pinched herself. She gasped a little, confirming to herself that this in fact was NOT a dream.

Derrik chuckled as he got up and faced her as he wrapped his arms passionately around her so that she was getly crushed into him. "Does this feel like a dream?" he asked her as he planted a sweet kiss on her neck.

She giggled when Derrik gave her a bear hug. "If I say yes will you convince me further its not a dream?" she asked him flirting, she blushed when he kissed her neck. 'God dammit I need to grow taller!' she thought to herself, man was she short compared to him. She reached up and wrapped her arms around his neck, while she stood on her tip toes so she didn't strain his neck by dragging him down.

Derrik kept smiling as he then planted a kiss on her cheek and then her forehead. "And now?" And then he planted a kiss on her lips. "And now?"

She giggled every time he kissed her, she shook her head to answer his question. Serenity pulled her teacher into a passionate kiss and held it for as long as he would allow it, her soft lips were pressed against his and their breaths were once again one. When she kissed him she felt like they were just one person. Her small hands stroked his hair shyly and carefully.

Derrik kissed her back as he then pushed her against the wall. Adding a little tongue to their kiss, he then pulled away to look at her. "And now?" he asked passionately as he kissed her jawline down to her neck.

Serenity clung onto him further and gave a soft moan of pleasure. She blushed when he pulled away and kissed his neck giggling she replied "I think I should be convinced for now" Serenity said as she gave him a small sweet kiss on his cheek, she put her head on his shoulder and whispered "I think you should start marking those papers or else you'll have to stay up all night" she told him with a smile as she fixed her messy hair.

Derrik sighed and hugged her back. "You're right," he said as he let her go and sat back down in his chair, going back to grading his papers. "You should get back to your tutoring," he then said with a cute smile set to his lips.
