Derrik shrugged his shoulders. "Ha haha of course I can. I usually get three of them. Suit yourself, sweetie," he said as he then turned back to the speaker. "That'll be all," he said as he pulled forward to the second window to pay and get his food. After he got his food, he set it aside and drove to her house next.

"Alright, which way do I go?" he then asked her.

((It does :drool: But I just had it yesterday and my mom hates it when I eat the same things twice in a row. :roll:))

Serenity watched with her wide eyes as he paid and they drove off. "Go past the first light at Ridle's Street then keep left and turn left at the first turning. Then we just drive down the street and my house is the third one after the park and stop sign." she told him smiling. Serenity kept pulling her skirt down out of consciousness 'Jeez why the hell do they have to make the uniform skirts so small!' she thought desperately too herself. "I wish I could stay with you for ever I really don't want to go home." she whispered to Derrik sighing. "Hey Derrik...is there any chance that you would be willing to kidnap me and run away with me?" she asked him with a weak laugh.

Derrik chukled as he saw her messing with her skirt as he drove in order what she said. He then placed a hand on her knee and smiled at her. "What's wrong?" he asked her with a chuckle rippling through his voice.

Serenity blushed and gasped a little when he placed his hand on her knee. She smiled nervously, "Nothing" she whispered. 'Is he...teasing me?!' she thought to herself a bit surprised. She put her hand on top of his, taking it off from her knee she held his hand against her cheek. "Its just...the skirt is too small when I sit, and its embarrassing" she finally muttered out staring at him innocently. She reached out her hand and fixed his hair as it fell into his face.

Derrik smiled. "Thanks for telling me that. It'll be even more harder to concentrate in my classes," he said with a chuckle as he then pulled into her driveway. "Well, good luck and see you in class tomorrow," he said as he looked around, seeing that no one was watching, he quickly kissed her lips.

Serenity's eyes widened even more when he said that, "Pervert..." she muttered softly averting her eyes from his. She laughed, "Thank you I shall need all the luck I can get while facing my mom" she nodded and moaned softly putting her hand around his neck too kiss him a bit more passionately. Serenity smiled at him and grabbed her books, opened the door and tried to step out of the car. She gave a little squeal when she was restrained back by the seat belt. Serenity looked at Derrik flustered and embarrased, she quickly unstrapped herself.

"Good night Derrik, I'll see you tomorrow" she whispered too him. Before she closed the door she jumped back into the car for a second and gave him a small sweet and innocent good night kiss on his cheek. Serenity stood in her drive way waiting for him too leave as she waved goodbye.

Derrik smiled and once he knew she was in the house, he pulled out of the driveway and took out one of his McDoubles and began to eat it. Then he hurried home, really getting into how good McDonald's was tonight. Not to mention how awesome their Coke was as well.

Serenity stepped in with caution as he pulled out of the drive way, she was about too sneak past the kitchen when she felt a shadow behind her. Her eyes were wide as she turned around, "Okasa!" she said nervously stuttering, it was her mom.

After what seemed like hours Serenity finally dragged herself off too bed, her mom had given her a whole lecture about how dang irresponsible she was. She sighed as she slammed her bedroom door, she was hungry too but she was too scared to go back down and face her mom. She stripped out of her uniform and pulled on her pajamas, washed her face and slipped into bed with the covers till her neck. Her mom was suspicious that she wasn't working at all, but when Serenity had showed her the stacks of paper her moms suspicion seemed too simmer down a bit. Closing her eyes Serenity fell into deep sleep, dreaming of Derrik.

Derrik tossed and turned in his bed for the first time in a long time that night. He couldn't stop thinking about Serenity. He wished so bad that she was laying right next to him, but she wasn't. How can someone fall all the more madly in love with someone after a kiss? It seemed impossible, but then again, it happened. So he hugged onto his spare pillow tight and could imagine it was Serenity. Before he knew it, his alarm woke him up, he opened his eyes, and he saw that it was time to go to work.

Serenity groaned when her stupid brothers pounded on the door, "Get up fatty! Your gonna be late for school!" they screamed in unison. They were twins, and the stupid idiots were identical. It got on Serenity's nerves sometimes, no matter how much she loved them! She woke up, 'Another day too waste' she thought grouchily too herself. She looked into the mirror, her hair was a horrible mess and then it hit her. Her Professor was...hers...she gave a little scream out loud her brothers will still outside her door and she heard them snicker, "MOM! I think Nity's finally lost it!" one of them yelled. Her home nick name was Nity and she hated it!

"Don't call me that you annoying little brats!" she yelled back angrily. Serenity quickly brushed her teeth and took a shower pulling on her uniform. She ran down the stairs gulped down a glass of juice and took a toast too go. Like usual Yumiko was waiting for her outside near the bus stand, she waved at her best friend. "Serenity! Oh my gosh! DETAILS!" Yumiko demanded her, Serenity blushed and told her the story in a hushed voice while they were on the bus.

Her friends eyes glistened with excitement and she squeaked, "He kissed you! How romantic! Your first kiss and it was taken by someone so hunky!" Yumiko said giggling and trying too keep her voice a whisper at the same time. The pair ran out of the bus and into the school, they were much earlier than before but Serenity didn't care! She just wanted to make sure last night hadn't been a dream. Both the girls waited in front of the English class, both their faces equally eager.

Derrik had made sure he had gotten to his job a little earlier than usual. There was something about sitting in his classroom alone at times that he liked. He waited about an hour before he started to hear kids getting into their lockers and jabbing about random gossip. Then he smiled when the warning bell rang and kids began to file into his classroom.

Serenity and Yumiko rushed into his class, they took their seat in the middle front row like usual. "Crap, I wish we had chosen a closer seat" she whispered quietly too Yumiko. Serenity tried too catch his eyes and smile at him, she blushed slightly as she hugged her English teacher to her body. She sighed softly before looking back at Yumiko, her friend was giving her a sly smile. "What?" she demanded. But Yumiko just shook her head giggling.

Derrick chuckled when she hugged him. "Wow, I feel special. A student is hugging me," he joked as he wrapped his arms quickly back around Serenity and then let her go as he pretended that nothing had happened yesterday. He had thought it was best to think like that.

She grinned, "Well you are the best English teacher ever! So I guess you deserve hugs once in a while" Serenity said softly giggling. She ran back too her seat, she hated being so close too him yet she would still have to keep everything on the down low. Not many people would understand or appreciate their relationship like Yumiko did. She was glad to have a best friend like her.

Derrick chuckled loudly. "Yeah, that's what they all say," he murmured to himself. "Alright class, being that we're ahead of schedule, you may use this time as a study period," he announced as he sat down at his desk and took out a new book. Interview with a Vampire by Anne Rice. He had been wanting to read it for sometime now and he was glad to say that he was finally finished with the House of Night series so he could read all of Anne Rice's books...if this book was any good.

Serenity decided too take one last glace at her study notes for science. She hated it, too her it was the most boring subject they ever had to take! Serenity gave a long dramatic sigh and took out her science notes on electricity, "these formulas are going to take my life!" she muttered too Yumiko, her best friend just laughed at her. "Yeah, its super funny too you because you're a science genius you dork" Serenity said pouting. "Yeah well you could be too if you tried! And plus, its not like you fail science you've never gotten below a B so its all good and in the end your science grade always somehow ends up being an A!" Yumiko told her laughing and shaking her head.

Serenity kept looking at Derrik from behind her science notes. 'At least this is the last year I will ever take science' she thought happily to herself. Serenity concentrated on learning a few of the formulas and she did the equations over and over till she was confident enough that she would be able too solve similar ones on the test.

Derrick sighed as he walked into lunch, hungry for a good sandwich.

Serenity was walking through the doors of the cafeteria her stomach hungry for food. She saw Derrik and smiled to herself hurrying and getting into the line. She looked at the cafeteria menu and took a pepperoni pizza and a can of Nestea, paying for it she went too sit down at their usual table. Their table was full of life and laughter, all the seniors that were somebodies were gathered there. They were all planning a huge party for the upcoming weekend.

Derrick smiled as a silent 'thank you' to the lunch lady once he got his slice of cheese pizza, pack of cold fruits, yogurt, and a water bottle. He needed at least some healthy food to make up for the unhealthy food he ate last night. Talking to his usual buddies at the teacher's tables, he turned his head around to see Serenity, happy and laughing with her friends. He smiled when she caught his gaze and then turned back around to get back to his lunch. The cheese pizza wasn't cooked all the way, but it was still amazing.

Serenity hurried and looked down, "Hey! Why don't we invite Mr. Patting to the party too?!" Yumiko suggested. Serenity's mouth fell open and she slapped Yumiko's leg underneath the table. 'What?! Is she crazy!' Serenity thought frantically too herself. "No!" she screamed out and all the eyes on their table turned too her, which made her blush and fluster eyes more. "I mean...he is an adult and I thought we said no adults!" she told them with a nervous grin.

James spoke out this time, he was also one of her close friends up until last year. But something had caused them to drift apart last year, she smiled at him as he spoke but he seemed too down right ignore her. Serenity frowned, "Well, we all agree he is pretty cool! And he could pass for a college student no doubt so I say we invite him! All in favour" he raised his hands and so did most of the table, Serenity sighed. "Guess hes invited too" she said with a weak laugh. 'How the hell am I suppose to contain my excitement at the party?!' her day seemed too be gloomy now. She knew James had done this purposely, but she wouldn't figure out why.

Derrik sighed as he picked at his left over fruit. Pineapple. He hates pineapple...an coconut, and cherries, and blueberries...but the most he hates was pineapple. He grimaced and quickly threw it in the nearest trashcan.

"What fruits do you like?" Katherine asked him.

Derrik rolled his eyes to look at the ceiling to think. "Strawberries, cantaloupe, raspberries, apples, plums, pears..." he trailed off as the table he was sitting at laughed at him.

Serenity heard the teachers table laugh and gave a brief glance at it before she blushed and looked away. Every decided that Serenity would be the one too invite Mr. Patting to the party since she hadn't wanted him to come in the first place, she sighed. "You guys are all evil" she muttered as the lunch bell rang.

The day finally dragged too a stop and she was in front of her English room, she knocked shyly on the door. 'Finally! The end of the day, I can be with him again' she thought to herself with the utmost glee. Though this time she would need to be more careful and aware of the time. Serenity was always reciting different ways of inviting him too the party.

Derrik looked up from his book at the door and smiled when he saw that it was Serenity. "Come in," he said as he closed his book and put it away. "What can I do for ya?" he asked, really happy that she stopped by before she went home.

Serenity smiled shyly, "Umm...my mom was wondering if you can...come over for tutoring tomorrow,she wants too be "sure" that you are actually tutoring me and nothing else" she said giggling nervously as she stepped in and shut the door behind her. Her mouth twitched as she thought about how too tell him about the party, her legs shifted uncomfortably as she regained eye contact with him again.

"And Professor...the kids...I mean, every one at our table. We are...we are having a party this weekend and all of them insisted for you too be invited...and since I'm in charge of inviting people I need too invite you I guess...because they would have my head if I didn't so...if you are not doing anything...we are..having a small party at the local bar." she spoke out all the words fast, her body shaking with shyness. Serenity hated too tell him the real reason which was if he went he would be fawned over all the girls there and it would make her extremely jealous.
