Raina zoned out as they began to discuss hiding places for Knightmares, refrain smugglers, and other details. After a while, they all left. Raina bega to follow Kallen back to the school.

Kiara yawned as the three girls re-entered the school grounds. She idly wondered where exactly Lelouch was right now and how he'd get back to the school and when. She put that out of her mind however. Her bed was calling.

(It's about this time taht Suzaku enters the school, should that happen in the next couple posts?)

*It should happen the very next day*

Raina flopped onto her bed as soon as she walked into the room. "Mmmmmmm" she knew she should probably get up, change into her pyjamas and brush her teeth, but she couldn't be bothered.

Unlike Raina Kiara changed out of her clothes. It'd be a bit uncomfortable to sleep in them after all. She pulled the covers over herself and curled up facing the window, staring out at the sky since the curtains hadn't been pulled shut. The moon looked back at her and she smiled.

In the end, Raina extracted her head from the covers of her bed and pulled on her pyjamas. She went to the bathroom and ran the toothbrush along her teeth a few times before collpasing back into bed. She rolled onto her side adn was asleep instantly.

Kiara yawned as she woke, stretching before peeling the covers off of herself then dressing in the school uniform, grimacing at the too-short-for-her-comfort skirt. Oh well, it couldn't be helped. There were rumors taht they were getting a new student and she was rather curious to see who exactly it was.

Raina put on her shcool uniform, putting the tie on with a pout. "Why does there have to be a tie? And why does it ahve to be green?!"

"Don't know," Kiara muttered, pulling on her own. "And if anything I'd expect the guys to have to wear this stupid thing. Come on or we'll be late, again."
Kiara grabbed her book bag and quickly hurried out of the room, checking her time table and seeing that they had Mathmatics first, great. She scowled at the time table before stuffing it into her bag and making her way to the classroom. At least she would get to see the new student, that was something at least.

"My name is Kururugi Suzaku, nice to meet you all," said the new bnoy cheerfully.
At first no one said anything, then whispers began to spread throughout the class. Kururugi Suzaku - the young man accused of Prince Clovis's murder... an Eleven.
While he had been released from the charge after Zero's appearance, it still did not change the fact that most people were scared of him. Raina didn't like hearing the word "Eleven" whispered and muttered over and over again. Although she didn't really like Kururugi from what she'd heard of him. She'd heard that he was an Honourary Brittanian soldier - a traitor.

Kiara stared hard at the new guy. He had brown hair and green eyes. He seemed like an honest kind of person to her but he was Japanese, why was he fighting for Brittania? He wasn't even half Japanese! He was fully Japanese, like her, what was he thinking? The teacher gestured for Kururugi to take a seat and he silently made his way towards it. As he did so his eyes looked around the room and fell on Lelouch. Kururugi's eyes widened. Kiara noticed. There was history there, she realised. She'd be sure to ask Lelouch about that later.

Lelouch left the room, and shortly after, Suzaku followed him. As always, Raina was too curious for her own good. She got up and followed him, grinning at Kiara, and beckoning for her to come too.

Kiara followed Raina, her own curiosity getting the better of her. She wanted to know and she wanted to know now! How exactly did they know each other? This was too good an opertunity to pass up!

Raina and Kiara followed Suzaku up the stairs as he went all the way up to the roof. He left the staircase and went to the wall to talk to Lelouch. Raina stopped at teh staircase so that they wouldn't be detected, and she could still listen to their conversation. After a few seconds she realised that seven years ago, Lelouch and Suzaku had been friends.
"Hey there, Lelouch! New guy!" she called, stepping out from the staircase as though she'd only just gotten there.

Kiara decided to follow. She was curious about the guy and actually meeting him would probably be a good way to figure him out.
"Nice to meet you." she told Suzaku. "My name is Kiara Knight. Your name is Kururugi Suzaku right?"
He nodded, his cheeks turning slightly pink.

"I'm Raina Sasaville... I think," said Raina. She climbed onto the wall and sat down there, her feet swinging over the edge.
Suzaku seemed slightly taken aback by this.

Kiara rolled her eyes at Raina before sitting on the wall herself but with her back facing the edge so she could keep the two boys in sight.
"So," she said, looking at them both intently, as if she hadn't just been listening in on their conversation. "How do you two know each other?"

"Um... we," began Suzaku, clearly trying to think of a lie on the spot.
"We're friends," said Lelouch.
Raina let out a fake gasp and she stared hard at Suzaku. "So you're my rival!"
"Er... I..."
"What?" was all Lelouch could say.
Raina laughed. "I was joking, idiots!"

Kiara rolled her eyes at her friend's antics before turning back to Lelouch.
"Fine," she said, giving him a look. "Don't tell us, we'll find out eventually." Kiara then decided to turn her attention to Suzaku.
"So," she said off handedly. "Are the rumors true? You're an hunourary Brittanian?"

"Yes," he said. "I'm Japanese."
"No you're not," said Raina. "If you're an honourary Brittanian that means you're neither Japanese or Brittanian. How do you put up with it? The Japanese must see you as a traitor, whereas the brittanians see you as Japanese. You don't fit in anywhere." She hadn't meant it as an insult, just an observation.

Raina was right about that. Suzaku had really dug his own grave in taht respect. Niether would fully accept him. Suzaku apparently couldn't think of anything to say about that since he just stared at Raina shocked.. Kiara decided taht for once she'd be tactful and change the subject.
"So Suzaku," she said. "Any clue what club you're gunna join here? Apparently it's some sort of law that every student has to be a part of at least one club." she snorted, it was a ridiculous rule but at least one good thing had come out of it, she'd met both Kallen and Lelouch, both things she was glad about.

"I... don't know," said Suzaku. "What clubs are you all in?"
"The Student Council!" said Raina proudly, standing up on the wall.
"Watch out, that's dangerous!" said Suzaku.
"Huh? Dangerous?"

Kiara shook her head and rolled her eyes again. She noticed taht Lelouch was doing the same.
Just then Milly appeared, seemingly from out of no where.
"Hey guys!" she said brightly. It was then she caught sight of Raina."Um Raina? Why are you standing on the edge of the roof?"

"Is there a reason why I shouldn't?" Raina asked innocently. But she got the message and hopped down.

"So you're the new kid," Milly said, facing Suzaku. He seemed uncomfortable under her gaze and Kiara smirked at him.
"Yeah," she said, speaking for him. "He is, Milly Ashford meet Kururugi Suzaku. Kururugi Suzaku, meet Milly Ashford." She made a couple hand gestures to enphisize her point and Lelouch gave her a look. She just shrugged at him.

"President, i was wondering if we could put him on the Student Council," said Lelouch. Raina was rather taken aback at this. She wasn't really sure she liked Suzaku. He was a brittanian soldier - a traitor.
