"Hehe, see Shirley lent these DVDs to me," said Raina as they watched Ichigo beat up a load of people for knocking over some flowers. "But then Lelouch made her forget about me, so she forgot about lending me the DVDs too!"

"So in other words if she doesn't remember giving them to you and technically doesn't ask for them back then that means you can keep them as long as eh doesn't ask for them," Kiara said, smirking. "So you'll keep them indefinitely." She grinned as the stupid thugs ran off after being beaten up by Ichigo, definitely a good part of this episode.

They sat and watched Bleach all evening until it was finally time for bed. Raina took the last DVD out of the exhausted DVD player and put it back in its case. She yawned.
"Sleep time now, Ki-chan." Now that anime had relieved the stress and tension of the serious situation before, she was slipping back into her carefree self.

"Agreed," Kiara said through a jawcracking yawn. She was still holding her plushie and as they made their way back to their room she figured that she must look weird but she didn't particularly care. The place was still abuzz with Euphemia's news but right now she really couldn't care less about the annoying princess who was as far away from her thoughts as it was possible to get. They were soon back in their own room and Kiara was in her pajamas and snuggling under her covers before she really knew what she was doing. She sighed but wasn't quite asleep yet. She turned to look at the moon, that was always calming.

Raina fell into a fitful sleep, having nightmares about a pink haired monster that grabbe dher by the hair, told her she had bad taste, and then dragged her away from Kiara, Lelouch and all the others.

Kiara woke the next morning to the dreaded alarm and almost set the thing on fire but barely managed to restrain herself.
"One of these days..." she muttered darkly at the shrill machine. "One of these days I WILL get you..."

"No, you pink haired bitch!!!" screamed Raina, slamming her hand down on the alarm. "I do not have bad taste!!!!!!"

Kiara fought back a sweatdrop at Raina's words but didn't comment, knowing that it probably wasn't her business and that Raina would likely tell her later if she felt like it so instead she gathered her things and went for a quick shower. She was glad that she hadn't relocated all her things to the Black Knight's Headquarters just in case.

In a tantrum, Raina got out of bed and got dressed, all the while muttering under her breath.
"Her with her stupid pink hair and silly smile... thinks she's so clever..."

"You done?" Kiara asked sarcastically after pulling on her shows. Not really waiting for a response she grabbed her bag and led Raina out. "What do we have first?" she asked. SHe hadn't been in school for so long that she'd fergotten the timetable completely.

"We can't go to school Ki-chan!" said Raina, eyes wide. "We have to go to HQ and see what Lulu's planning to do about this SAZ."

"Good point," Kiara replied. "He'll probably want to start as early as possible." She looked down at herself before shrugging and grabbing Raina's hand and sneaking the two of them off campus. "Hopefully we'll be there before they start, or at least when they're just starting."

"It's OK to be late," said Raina. "If we're not there when they're talking about it, it's almost like it's not happening."

"If only..." Kiara muttered darkly. It didn't take them too long to get back to the headquarters thankfully and there was just enough time for Kiara to slip back into her Black Knight's uniform, much more comfortable than her school uniform. She checked the time before looking at Raina.

"We'd best go in," said Raina, dressed in her "new and improved" Black Kngihts uniform. She had made the alterations herself. She had redone her jacket so that it wasn't high-necked and had it on unbuttoned, with a black tank top underneath. The boots she had made slightly smaller, so that they didn't reach right up to her thighs, and she kept her usual shorts.

"Yeah," Kiara replied. SHe looked at Raina's new outfit and smirked. "Very nice," she commented before she opened the doors. As they entered everyone turned to face them, they were the last ones to appear apparently. Kiara felt her eye twitch but she didn't say anothing to the people that were staring at her and Raina as they made their way to the front where all the higher ranked people in teh Black Knights were gathered.
"Sorry we're late," she called, shrugging her shoulders as she went.

Raina noticed that Lelouch wasn't there yet. "Where's L-Zero?"
"Up in his room," said Ougi. "We were just discussing the SAZ. I say we should join."
"No way, I'm not going to go to that pink haired bitch, hand over my weapons, and go live in this little stupid plan of hers when it's probably being controlled byt eh people behind her," snorted Raina. She sat down, legs crossed.

"I'm with Raina," Kiara added. "I don't like this. I mean, come on! Everyone here KNOWS that Euphemia Li Brittania isn't nearly as important as any of her other siblings. I mean, what's she done for them so far? She has little experience in this sort of thing and except for being a princess she's not got any power or sway with anyone, she's a puppet and even though a puppet CAN cut their strings I don't like this."
"But it could stop the fighting," Ougi pointed out.
"At what cost?" Kallen demanded hotly. "I'm with them." She pointed to Kiara and Raina.

"But we can't just ignore this," said Ougi.
"That's true, we can't." Everyone turned to look as Zero entered the room. "On the day of the launch, I shall go by myself to meet with Euphemia. I will verify Brittannia's intentions. I shall have everyone on standby, ready to attack if necessary."
"Yessir, Zero-chan!" said Raina with a salute.

"Sounds like a sound plan to me," Kiara added thoughtfully. "Are you sure about going by yourself though Zero? I mean, it could be a large-scale trap for all we know."
She knew that Lelouch and Euphemia were related but in war most of the time family meant nothing when it came to who wins, who loses and who dies.
"I am sure," he replied simply.

"Euphemia wouldn't have the guts to arrest you anyway," Raina snorted. She remembered her dream and muttered "Pink haired bitch" under her breath again.

Kiara was just close enough to hear but didn't comment on it. She turned back to look at Lelouch.
"Anything else we need to discus this meeting?" she asked curiously. She doubted it but it never hurt to double check.

"No, the launch will be in a week," said Lelouch. "I'll be giving details of the preparations to you, Toudou."
"So we should go back to school?" asked Raina.
"Yes, we don't need you at the moment. We'll meet again in three days' time to update our progress."

"Right," Kiara replied. SHe stood up from the seat that she'd been sitting on. The meeting had been pretty short. At least they were able to gage the general opinion of the other Black Knights.

"School now, huh?" Raina sighed and looked down at her uniform. "I almost wish I could wear this to Ashford..."
