I've got this insane urge to make YGO monster plushies. Especially those of the Earthbound Immortals. I'm weird......

Fff, so I was supposed to go to the new YGO movie today in cosplay, but I am so sleepy. Going tomorrow and finding the cosplay today instead. XD I'm going as Yami no Bakura.

Yeah. x__x There's somewhere around five that are all in LA, six hours away. There were none nearby until recently, which is still an hour drive at best. Hella worth it. I hope you get to see it someway! D: I will hopefully come back with the YGO cosplay group pictures.

I don't have any YGO cosplays, but I want to at least be there with all the fandom! :cry:

According to a friend of mine there is this person on DeviantART that made a Castiel Plushie (from Supernatural) and sold it and under the thing there was a link to the site taht she'd used so you COULD maybe make the plushies. (Make me a blue eyes and dark magician girl and magician's valkyria please!!!!!!)

:cry: :cry: :cry: There's no one around here that I could go see it with and I don't think it'll be released her AT ALL!!!!!! It'll probably just go straight to DVD and even then most shops won't stock it (well maybe HMV but not for very long)

*sigh* Sadly, very true. I'll probably order it off Amazon. I wonder if we can pre-order yet....

And as for the plushies, my sewing skills leave much to be desired. Since I want to do cosplays so bad (hopefully starting over the summer), I'll be getting much more practice. And a camera for photo shoots. Or at least convince one or two of my friends to go with me in cosplay on photo shoots.

I went to see it Sunday afternoon. I didn't go in cosplay after all, because I'm too lazy, haha! I have to say... I really liked the movie but there was a lot in it that bugged me. Nowhere near as much as the other movies, but the dueling did not feel like it was from Yu-Gi-Oh!. It was... really boring and way too predictable (no twists!) to me. But that might just be me. XD; I really recommend it, though! No matter what YGO series you like, this movie is good (in my opinion)! I don't know what the Japanese dialog was originally, but I could really tell the English dubbing staff was having fun with their lines and that made it enjoyable. I prefer the original to a dub 99% of the time, but this didn't make me cringe. o__o I also found myself laughing really hard at one part. Oh, man.

I'm sorry it won't be playing for you, Mirani. D: Could you order a DVD online? But hopefully they will stock up on it near you!

...Why would one go in cosplay to see a movie..?

PrincessBane: You'd be surprised just how many people go in costume to see a movie. When me and some of my friends went to see the sixth HP movie most of us turned up in costume. One of my friends, Eilidh, had the full robes on with a Gryffindor scarf. I just wore a black cloak with a ravenclaw scarf and another friend dressed up as Luna Lovegood while another used wash in-wash out dye to dye her hair to look a bit like Ginny Weasley. In short it happens ALL the time!

Believe me I FULLY intend to get the DVD!!!!!!! I an NOT missing out on seeing this!!!!! Mimiroppu: what made you laugh so hard? How did they have fun with the lines? PLEASE tell us!!!!!!!!

Oh my god Yu-Gi-Oh is the best series! I am not as much of a fan of Yu-Gi-Oh GX or Yu-Gi-Oh 5D but they are okay I guess. Yugioh was my first anime/Manga and it was a HUGE part of my childhood. My favorite monsters are The Dark Magician. The Dark Magician Girl and Kuriboh. I always thought that the Dark Magician was super cool and the Dark Magician Girl was so cute and girly and I have always wanted to hug a Kuriboh! ^w^

How can you NOT want to hug a Kuriboh?????!!!!!!!! :squee: :squee: :squee: They are just so adorable!!!

And then there's Winged Kuriboh!!!!!!!


And I agree about the Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl (just ready any of my posts and you'll see why) but I've got to add Magician's Vaklyria to that list! She is amazing!

Hm...I like just about all of the Spellcaster monsters. Then again, I do have a Spellcaster-type deck.

Spellcasters and dragons are the way to go definitely! They are amazing!!!!!!!!

Spellcasters, Dragons, Warriors, and Faries are what my decks are based off of. My fairy deck is almost complete!

What sort of cards are in your fairy deck? Which monsters? What trap and spell cards?

-grumbles- can't exactly do that now can we? Which is a shame. And there's suposed to be a hacker on the KCVDS so I haven't dueled using my virtual deck in AGES!!!!!!!

Does anyone here have any hints on how to style a cosplay wig?

Um...it depends I think. If you get a long one (longer than the length that you want) then you can maybe try and cut it to fit what you want and then use something to keep it in place but be careful cuz some products could maybe damage it or make it flamable

I LOVED this show when I was younger. It was one of my first anime series. Funny thing is, my brother was actually the first one to get into it and I just watched it because we only had one tv at that time. I ended up liking it even more than he did in the end. XD I think I'll always love the seasons with Yugi as the main character, though. The GX was so-so and 5D's is just meh for me.

I STILL love Yu-Gi-Oh. One of my top 3.
