Jessica smiled and kissed his lips gently before beginning to gather things for cookies. "Have you ever known my cookies to come out bad?" She asked. "I mastered the recipe in the second grade, so I could make extra for you." Jessica told him matter of factly.

Luke laughed and shrugged. He sat on the counter.

Jessica quickly mixed up the batter and got a batch in the oven before grabbing a spoon and taking a pint of ice cream from the freezer. "Yum...cookie dough ice cream." She said as she sat on the counter opposite of him.

Luke watched her happily.

Jessica somehow managed to get ice cream on her nose and didn't realize it. She made sure she didn't have any on her checks or lips, but managed to get some on her nose.

Luke grinned. He walked over, and licked her nose lightly. He smiled. "You're right. That is some good ice cream."

Jessica smiled even though a blush was creeping up her cheeks. "I'm glad you liked it." She said trying to regain her thoughts from the giddiness that took over her. "You are very distracting." She told him with a slight sigh. "But a pleasant distraction."

Luke grinned and kissed her.

Jessica kissed him back happily. Somehow she felt perfectly happy right now and that's what was important.

Luke kissed her deeply before pulling away.

Jessica kept her eyes closed and licked her lips quickly. Opening them, she smiled at Luke and touched his face.

Luke grinned.

"What's got you grinning so widely?" Jessica asked as she hopped down to pull the cookies out. She set them on a wire rack and put another batch in the oven.

Luke shrugged, and stole a really hot cookie. He ate it, his mouth burning.

Jessica narrowed her eyes. "You're going to get burnt. Let them cool. And the only time you ever shrug is to aggravate me." She said playfully slapping his chest.

Luke laughed with his mouth closed.

Jessica sighed. "You are impossible." She said trying not to laugh. "What are thinking about?" Jessica asked asking a question off the top of her head.

"How good these hot cookies are." Luke told her through a mouthful of cookie.

Jessica rolled her eyes and grabbed her ice cream. "I'll have to be careful about how I eat ice cream around you." She told him before taking a bite.

Luke grinned and laughed lightly.

Jessica wiped crumbs off his shirt and shook her head. "I love you. Even if you are impossible and don't tell me what you're thinking about."

Luke just winked at her, swallowing the cookie and then grabbed another.

Jessica laughed before putting her ice cream down and pulling out the last batch. "There I made you cookies." She said before grabbing her ice cream and putting a lid on it. "I shall leave you in peace." She said with mock solemnity as she put her ice cream in the fridge before dashing with a little laugh out of the kitchen.

Luke shrugged, and began to eat his cookies. He put them all in a big container and then carried it to the living room, in which he sat on the couch and watched tv, while eating them.

Jessica got dressed and came back out. "Don't eat all of the at once." She said leaning over the back of the couch to grab them. "And if you look down my sweater your a dead man." She warned.
