Jessica sighed. "That shrugging is very annoying." She commented. "Are you going to let me go or am I stuck here until you earn all your cookies?"

Luke shrugged. "Go do what you want." He didn't mind sneaking cookies.

"If you shrug one more time, I'll go crazy. Just tell me what you want to say." Jessica begged. "And don't even think about sneaking cookies or I won't kiss you for the rest of the day." She warned as she walked to pick up her homework from the hallway.

Luke groaned. "You're no fun!"

Jessica turned and smiled mischievously at Luke. "I'm lots of fun. You just don't know it yet." She said with a smile. "And as long as you don't steal a cookie you'll be fine."

Luke stomped away from the kitche. Not stealing cookies would be hard.

Jessica smiled and chuckled lightly. "You can have one and I do mean one more." She said grabbing her homework and sitting on the couch. "And I'll expect you to earn it."

Luke sighed. He didn't know how to earn it.

Jessica looked up at him and smiled. "Come hold me while I do my homework. You used to say you thought clearer when you were with me and I'll call it good on the cookie. Deal?"

Luke wrapped his arms around her and snuggled close.

Jessica sighed and closed her eyes for a moment leaning against Luke, before picking up her book and highlighter. "This could take a while." She told him.

Luke laughed lightly.

Jessica smiled. "Don't distract me and I'll try to get this done as quickly as possible."

Luke nodded, trying.

Jessica smiled over her shoulder at him. "If you can't help yourself, then feel free to distract me." She said knowing it had to be hard for Luke.

Luke laughed lightly and nodded.

Jessica tapped her highlighter and reached for her glasses case on the table. Putting them on, she made the same thoughtful face she had since she was a kid.

Luke thought she was cute with her glasses and little face.

Jessica looked at him over her glasses. "What?" She asked noticing he was looking at her.

Luke just shrugged. Mostly to bug her.

Jessica pouted. "I swear you do that just to bug me." She said putting her book on the coffeetable and turning to face him.

Luke pecked her lips. "Only sometimes."

Jessica smiled despite herself. "You make it impossible to stay mad at you." She muttered.

Luke grinned. "Yeah."

"Keep grinning like that and I'll have to kiss you." Jessica warned.
