Luke sighed, but frowned. "You didn't go to prom?"

"No, I didn't go to prom. I was studying." Jessica shrugged and reached over to stroke his face. "Cheer up a little."

Luke sighed. She should've gone to prom. He had..... He'd even lost his virginity though he'd been high at the time. "I missed you so much...."

Jessica smiled. "I missed you too." She leaned her head against his. "You're back and that's all that matters now."

Luke kissed her. It felt like forever since he last kissed her.

Jessica closed her eyes this time and kissed him back. It had been far too long since she had kissed him and she moved the rest of her body closer to his not willing to give this moment up just yet.

Luke wrapped his arms around her and kissed her harder. He was so happy right now, not even smoking could distract him.

Jessica wrapped her arms around his neck. This felt a lot better than she had ever imagined and she felt safe and happy.

Luke smelled smoke and moved away after a bit, taking another long drag of it. He was addicted.... Really addicted to it.

Jessica leaned her head against his shoulder and took a couple of deep breaths. She closed her eyes and nuzzled into his neck a little before letting out a sigh. Jessica had never ever been kissed like that and she wasn't sure what to do. The one thing she was sure of was wanting just to be near him right then.

Luke wrapped an arm around her, but continued to smoke. Blowing the smoke away from her. God he loved smoking.

Jessica opened her eyes to check her watch. Gasping at the time, she kissed his cheek and moved to get up. She still needed to do homework from the classes she did attend today and find something to make for dinner.

Luke watched her and then pulled on her arm, standing up. "Where are you going?"

Jessica turned and smiled at Luke. "Back to my apartment. You can come if you want." She said with just a hint of the shy girl she had once been. "I'll even let you smoke, outside of course." Jessica laid down that ground rule now.

Luke nodded. He followed her eagerly, like he'd always been.

Soon they stood in front of a third story apartment. Jessica unlocked the door and opened it to reveal a neat living room/kitchen combo. She walked in and smiled proudly. "Do you want a quick tour?"

Luke wasn't smoking at the moment. He nodded and followed her.

"Alright this is the living room and kitchen area. Down this hallway is the bathroom, linen closet, and bedroom." She rushed forward to close her bedroom door before he could get down there. "That's it. Kinda small, but it works for me." Jessica said still holding her bedroom door shut.

Luke raised an eyebrow. "Can I see that room?" He asked, wondering what she was hiding.

"There's really, really, really nothing interesting in there. It's just your run of the mill bedroom." Jessica said with a slight blush.

Luke grinned, and reached behind her. "I want to see it Jessica."

Jessica sighed and gave in. "Fine." She opened the door. Nearby was a queen bed with black sheets and a purple comforter. On either side were matching night stands. There was also a dresser with a mirror. "See told you run of the mill bedroom." She said sitting on the bed.

Luke looked around. "What are you hiding Jessica?" He asked, knowing there had to be more to it.

Jessica sighed and flopped back. "Second drawer in the left nightstand." She told him. She waited for him to get there and open the drawer. Inside were sketches, hundreds of them of what she thought he might grow up to look like. Jessica covered her face with a pillow. "I'm crazy aren't I?"

Luke opened the drawer and looked at all of the pictures with a smirk on his face. He couldn't believe she had done that. And none even looked like him. "You wish I looked like this?"
