Luke deepened the kiss. He had done it before, and had no problem doing it again.

Jessica moved so she was almost sitting in his lap and continued kissing him back in earnest.

Luke let a moan slip out, while they kissed.

Jessica wasn't sure how far she would go tonight and that scared her in a way. But being here, kissing Luke like this made her feel safe, yet sexy in a way. No one had even made a move towards her in high school and Luke made her forget that. Just as he always had. Jessica shifted her weight and pulled him just a little closer to her, deepening the kiss just a little more.

Luke saw her like he had when he was little. She was the most beautiful girl in the world to him but then he pulled and remembered something. He cursed under his breath. His parents was making him get engaged to another girl...

Jessica was shocked a little to feel his lips pull away. "What' s wrong?" She asked concerned that she had done something wrong.

(I might be disappearing in a bit. I'm going to a father-daughter dance, but I'll be on later tonight.))

Luke frowned. "I'm engaged..."

Jessica raised an eyebrow and pushed him away a little bit. "You're engaged to another girl?" She asked trying to process what he had said.

Luke nodded. "My parents made me...."

Jessica pulled away from him and walked to the kitchen. "Do you love her?" She asked. Even if his parents had made him there was a chance he loved the other girl and if he loved her, Jessica could let him go and tell him it was okay to break his promise.

Luke stood up and followed. "No. She's like a sister."

Jessica turned so they were face to face. "Does she love you?" She asked quietly. "Do you want to..." She paused to collect her thoughts.

Luke nodded slowly. She did love him. He shook his head. "I made a promise to you. I love you."

Jessica closed her eyes. "I love you too, but if you want to marry her and care for her you can break the promise..." She said rambling a little now.

Luke shook his head. Then got an idea. "Run away with me."

"Run away?" Jessica asked. Normally she planned everything out, but she smiled. "Sure why not? Where to?"

Luke was so happy. He grinned. "Anywhere! Pick a place! I'll take care of you."

Jessica smiled. "Give me a week to settle things and then we'll just get on a plane to anywhere and go." She said excited. "And we'll take care of each other. We can even go to school online." Wrapping her arms around him, she narrowed her eyes. "Now, where were we?"

Luke sighed. He suppossed a week was fine. But at the moment he sighed. "You're fine with an affair?"

Jessica looked at him. "I was your fiance first, thus this isn't an affair." She reasoned. "Hmm...although you never officially proposed, but the promise was made, so...." Jessica tried to explain her logic with a thoughtful expression.

Luke just laughed and kissed her to stop her from getting all confused.

Jessica's eyes flared open and then closed softly as she kissed him back. Leaning against the counter, she wrapped her arms around his neck to pull him closer to her.

Luke kissed her back deeply, and put his hands on her hips.

Jessica leaned into him a little bit, so he could wrap his arms around her if he wanted. Her hands entangled themselves in his hair as she kissed him back with equal force. Jessica had imagined tons of different scenarios, but this had outdone all of them.

Luke kissed her more, this felt good. Nice just being with her.
