(OW! I LIKE HIM!!! HE LOOKS COOL!... okay... I'm done... uh... I think you should post first since I want to say she doesn't know until her brother tells her... that is about her parents... I'd say like car accident or somethin like that...)

(Can I put the parents in a coma instead or killing them? That way like every Sunday they'd make a field trip and go there?)

(... What do you mean? Like for the two kids to go see them? It sounds fine you just confused me :sweat: )

(Lol. Sorry. But yeah. so that they go together and stuff.)

It'd been a long night at the hospital for Tomoya. His eyes were red and puffy from crying, something he rarely did. It was a sad day indeed. His parents had gotten into a car accident and were now in a coma while the drunk driver was fine, just a few bruises and scratches. It pissed him off. The worst was that he had to break the news to his twelve year old sister Mesa. He'd already talked to the doctors and child services, and said he'd become her gaurdian because thats what his parents would have wanted, and what he wanted. He wasn't going to let some strangers take care of his little sister when his parents could wake up any day now. Tomoya took the bus home, all the way trying to think of what to say to her. Finally he had it, somewhat, and got home. He climbed the porch steps to their small home and unlocked the door. He stepped inside and closed the door behind himself. It was a nice home, nothing fancy but decent. He sighed and called for her to come downstairs.

"BUBBA!" Mesa squeeled as she ran down the stairs in her pejays with her blonde hair up in pigtails and ran into him hugging him tightly. She then stepped back for a moment and looked behind him on each side looking for her parents then looked up at her brother curiously cocking her head to one side childishly. "Where's Mommy and Daddy? Didn't they come home with you?" she asked curiously as she looked up at Tomoya and hugged him again just as a little sister would. She was very attached and very close to her older brother and tried anything she could to eather get his attention or make him smile and laugh with her.

(nice intro ^^ um does he have a nickname? Or something shorter I can use so I can remember it easier?)

Tomoya put on a smile for his sister. He wasn't surprised to see her still in her pajama's yet so hyper. He sighed when she asked where their parents were. He picked her up. He ignored what she asked though, because he needed Mcdonalds too... He didn't care that she was in her pajama's because he had figured they'd just get it to go and come back home. "Do you want Mcdonald's? I'm sure you're very hungry." He told her, walked out of the house. It was just down the street, and he didn't mind carrying her the whole way. Anything to make it easier to tell her that their parents were in a coma and that they might not even wake up. He held back tears, wanting to be strong for her. She was only twelve.

"Okay!" Mesa said being thrown off track by his offer and put her arms around his neck happily oblivious to how he was feeling right now. She was just a kid and didn't understand too much though if he told her her parents weren't coming home... she would probably understand and be very upset. She smiled as she saw the McDonald's sign and didn't seem to care about being there in her pejays.

Tomoya carried her all the way to the Mcdonalds. Inside he let her get what she wanted, some people looked at her wierd, others didn't care. He got something small to eat for himself, which wasn't like himself at all. Then he carried her and the food and drinks back home. Where he put her food and his on two different plates. While he did that, he told her to set the coffee table that was infront of the tv. He would let her eat and watch tv and then before desert he'd tell her so that she had desert to eat after the sad news.

Mesa smiled while she ordered her food and didn't seem to notice the people staring. As Toma craried her home she started to get a bit sleepy and clung to him slightly until they were in the house. She smiled as she turned the T.V. onto one of ther favoret shows one of the few they both liked alot and would often watch together.

Tomoya didn't watch the show. Just ate, going over what to say. Finally they were both done eating and he turned the tv off. He sighed. "Mesa... Mommy and Daddy aren't coming home..." He started. He pulled her into his lap and stroked her hair lightly. "They might never come home." He continued, holding back tears.

"Wh-wh-what? Why!? I want Mommy and Daddy... Why wouldn't they come home..." Mesa cried looking up at her brother pouting slightly as tears filled her eyes. Finally the tears over flowed and she leaned against her big brother crying not understanding why her mother and father wouldn't be home.

Tomoya didn't answer her. He wasn't going to tell her that. It was too much for her little mind to comprehend. She wouldn't understand until she was older. He held her close and grabbed the ice cream. He showed her the ice cream. "C'mon. Eat the ice cream." He told her gently.

Mesa cried some more until she saw the ice cream a few minutes after he had said something about it. She sniffled some but took the ice cream and curled up some in Toma's lap still sniffling some as she ate the frozen treat. When she had finished her ice cream she wiped her mouth and curled up more in her brothers lap still sniffling though looking very tired as she leaned against him closing her eyes some though not falling asleep yet.

Tomoya watched her eat the ice cream and then held her close. He hoped she wasn't going to be like this all the time. His parents were in a coma. There was still a small chance. A chance he held on dearly to. He rocked her gently and began to hum to help her fall asleep.
