Mesa yawned again softly and smiled atTomoya then looked out to the lightsof the city... The only thing keeping her powers up and fully charged at night. Even though her and Tomoya had their age differences and the fact Toma was dark and Mesa was light they were actually pretty close... Well to Mesa they were anyway.

Tomoya was surprised that they were close. Especially because she was light and he was dark. They should have been hating eachother and having fights and such. But they didn't.... And now, he knew he would never yell at her. Not ever.

"Toma... what are we going to do?... How will we stay here I mean..." Mesa asked softly as she looked up at Tomoya looking a bit worried. Oblivious to her though she looked allot like their mother did when she was worried... though... she didn't know that...

Tomoya couldn't look at her now. He had seen the worried look and it was too painful to look at right then. He sighed. "I don't know, Mesa.... I don't know..."

Mesa looked at Tomoya for a long few moments the looked at the lights again her eyes sparcling in The light slightly. Eventually she got tired and was soon unable to keep her head up so it fell into her brothers lap when she finally did fall asleep.

Tomoya stroked her hair while she slept. He looked at the darkness, for who knew how long before going inside with Mesa. He slept in her bed, holding her close.

By the time morning had come Mesa was letting out soft whimpers and cries in her sleep though the most often that was said was 'momma'. Finally she opened her eyes to find herself in her room though... Tomoya was too... Why was he in her room? She wondered as she yawned softly looking up at her brother then curled into him slightly.

Tomoya was sleeping in blackness. Pure blackness, just the way he liked it. He could be a deep sleeper, and at this moment he was in a deep sleep. He had no intentions of waking up any time soon.

Mesa moved around after a little bit though didn't know if she wanted to wake her brother up or not. Finally she started whining and squirming trying to sit up. "Toma!" she whined childishly as she tried to sit up more though couldn't and started nudging Tomoya trying to wake him up.

Toma didn't wake up, just held her tighter to him.

Mesa whimpered a few more cries not liking being pulled so close and tried to pull away. She squirmed and moved trying to get out of her brothers arms. "TOMA!" she whined as she nudged him again and again. Finally she gave up and just laid there closing her eyes and leaning against him with a heavy sigh.

Tomoya woke up when she finally stopped. He opened his eyes slowly and groaned.

Mesa looked up at Tomoya and sighed in sight relief. She moved a bit more as she looked at him seeing that he seemed tiered still.

Tomoya looked at Mesa through blurry vision. "Hungry?"

Mesa thought for a moment then nodded her head vigerusely as she looked up at her big brother and wondered why his eyes were shady... Maybe he was just sleepy...

Tomoya nodded and sat up. Groaning he moved his feet to the ground and stood up. He swayed a little and stretched, then struggled downstairs. That's were he managed to find a single cereal with just enough for the two of them. He put them in a bowl and added milk. He called her down if she wasn't already there.

Mesa went to the bathroom after Tomoya let go of her then got dressed. She ran down the stairs when she was called and sat at the table after getting her food then waited for Tomoya to come over and sit at the table with her before she would start eating.

Tomoya soon sat down next to her and dug into his food. He didn't know what he was going to do, but he figured he'd take her somewhere. The happier Mesa was the better. He didn't want her crying all the time. He liked her smile, and that meant he'd do anything to see her smile.

Mesa ate somewhat happily seeming not to think of what happened yesterday for the time being. She could forget stuff easily when she wasn't too focused on it and she wasn't wanting to be focused on her parents deaths... though one thing was bound to happen is how much she would cry at the funeral... that... she would not forget easily... no matter what.

Tomoya didn't know when the funeral would be, or how it should be. But for now he'd rather wait. After eating he went upstairs and showered and dressed. While he did that he figured he'd take her to the zoo. She'd only been once before. So he thought this would be a good experience since the zoo had been a long time ago and she probably didn't even remember it anymore.

Mesa finished not too long after Tomoya and washed the few dishes in the sink then went to watch TV in the living room. she sat on the floor with her big and fluffy golden fox tail pulled out with her fox ears wagging her tail slowly but seemingly happily as she watched her favorite cartoons.

Soon, Tomoya came downstairs. He saw her watching her cartoons and left her alone for now. He sat down on the couch and watched them with her. They were okay, though most was stupid.

mesa leaned her head back to look at Tomoya for a moment smiling then looked back at the TV. When the show was over she looked at her brother smiling then climbed onto the couch beside him waiting for the next show ti come on.

Mesa moved her onto his lap, and scratched lightl between her ears while she waited for the next show. He was so glad that she wasn't a sobbing mess. That would've been hard on him. It was already hard enough.

Mesa relaxed some when she was scratched between her ears and they folded back some. Her tail wagged some though it was rather quick, happy, light, like it normally was when she was comfortable.
