So, I'm interested to know. What's YOUR favourite video game quote? :D

Mine has to be from Resident Evil 1. ''You were almost a Jill sandwich!'' God. That game REEAALLY had a terrible script. xD

I was about to mention DA: O dialogue, hands down, but I'd forgotten about RE. Everything in that game was funny. xD

My favorites are:

Hyip :) I love it. It's so versatile with what you can do with your character.

Oh I am in love with the Fallout series. Deffinately getting New Vegas. I'm going to wait a little bit after release though, since I'm a big fan of the moding scene, so I'd like to give it a chance to start up.

And I also totally recommend Mass Effect. I really want number 2, but I just never got around to getting it. I think I should though, if only because I think Garrus and Tali are amazing characters. Also the dialogue makes me giggle.

@ carzeebear - Awesome! I'll probably rent it sometime soon. :3 I still wanna rent a few other games first though. o:

@ Nolori - I have a feeling that you and me would get along well. xD I LOVE the Fallout series too and I'm also a fan of modding. I'll probably get New Vegas for the 360, and then a few months later, I'll get it for the PC.

I wanna try out a few other games before I get Mass Effect. I just played through Metro 2033, and I wanna try out Dragon Age and Mirror's Edge. :3

Finally, a quick question for both of you. How many hours have you put into Mass Effect/Fallout 3? o:

Some fairly recent quotes that spring to mind...

From Dragon Age: Origins:

Quote:
Leliana: "You aren't all stone, Shale. There is a person inside of you."
Shale: "If so, it is because I ate him."
Quote:
Morrigan: "And now we have a dog. And Alistair is still the stupidest member of the party"
Quote:
Alistair: "Here, look at this. Do you know what it is?"
Warden: "Your new weapon of choice?"
Alistair: "Yes, that's right! Watch as I thrash our enemies with the mighty power of floral arrangements! Feel my thorns, darkspawn! I will overpower you with my rosy scent!"

Mass effect one takes about twenty hours, longer if you do all the side missions.

@ Darke - I've been hearing a lot of hilarious Dragon Age quotes, and honestly, that's making me want to get the game even more. xD

@ carzeebear - Well, I'll probably pick that up after I try Dragon Age. :3

I'm both but I generally prefer PC games, it's really a genre preference. First person shooters, RPG, strategy, real time strategy, sim etc. I vastly prefer to play on the PC with a mouse and keyboard, and the PC tends to get the most games of those genres as well. Platformers and action/adventure games I usually prefer to play on a console with a controller.

Dragon Age in particular was definitely a lot better on the PC than on the Xbox 360, for one it has the overhead strategic view that wasn't included in the console version. It also has more enemies on screen at a time and more direct control over your other party members. Plus games like that tend to get a lot of attention from the modding community and on a console you don't have any access to that. Fallout 3 is a very good example of that, there are a ton of mods for the PC version that you can't use on a console.

@ carzeebear - Aaah, I see. I have to agree with that. Xbox games are costy. I noticed Dragon Age was like, half the price on PC. I still got it for xbox though. xD

@ Darke - I'm both as well, but I prefer xbox. Mainly because I enjoy the party system. I love talking to all of my friends whilst playing a game. I still play some games on PC, such as Fallout 3. The mods make the game even better than it already is.

What about Fable 2? The reference to Old Greg! (If you don't know who old Greg is, I am much disappoint.)
