Alright, Lords and Ladies!

I'm hoping to get another medieval game started all up in here!

I'm all pumped up because I went to a Renaissance festival today and I had a wonderful effing time. Fo' realz.

Anyway, onto business!

I'm talking medieval England, but your character can be from where ever(France, Italy, Spain, etc). I was hoping for it to be around the time when jousting and noble knights were at their peek, too!

ALSO! This is a fantasy based realm. So almost anything goes. Elves, fairies, pixies(there is a difference), goblins, you know, that kind of stuff. No sparkly vampires. None. At all. Ever. You will be fed to the gypsies.

And please keep in mind, that this is an rp set in medieval times, so modern slang and phrases shouldn't be used in character. Even conjunctions. Keep those to a minimum, though I totally understand that it is really difficult. Granted, we don't have to get into Shakespeare type languages(cause honestly, it gets a little annoying after a while), but keep that in mind. Nothing bothers me more than when a knight says 'What's up? Oh, really? That sucks'. ..So..yes. >_>; I hate to sound picky. I really do.

My rp rules are fairly simple and easy to get along with :) They are as follows:

1.) You. Are not. A God.
2.) We play a TURN-BASED game. Please remember that! This keeps the game going at a pace that everyone can keep up with. (That mostly includes me. I am the worst when it's a free-for-all!)
3.) Please make your post beefy(like 2-4 lines), but not novel length.
4.) Please use proper grammar/spelling.
5.) No more than 2-3 characters per person. Lessens confusion
6.)Some sort of identification(i.e.brackets, parenthesis, etc) between in and out of character speech. And please keep OOC stuff to a minimum. If it's urgent or a problem can't be solved in one or two posts, please feel free to PM me.
7.) You control YOUR CHARACTER. You cannot make decisions about a character that doesn't belong to you without the owner's consent. I've had problems with this a really long time ago, I'm talking several years, but it irks me.
8.) Have lots of happy fun times :3 This is fun, let it be so <3

I have a week limit. Meaning, if you ask to join in, and you don't post your opening for a week, I'll inquire in a PM. If you don't respond, then we assume you don't want to/can't play :( At that time, you'll need to reapply.

If you post in the game, then disappear without warning for a week, I'll poke you with a dull stick via PM and if you don't respond, we reserve the right to pull characters from any situations they were in with yours to progress the game and later on, when and if you return, you'll have to play catch up. If you don't respond in two weeks, we'll be forced to boot you and you'll have to ask for permission to re-enter the game.

Back story Blurb: Phaedra normally looks like a regular human until she gives into her Harpy. Then the wings come out, her eyes turn black, and her nails grow long and sharp. Phaedra can either make herself turn Harpy or she turns Harpy when she looses control. One way to tell she's giving into her harpy, is her pupils will start to bleed over. Her guardian Striker is the only one that can calm her down. Being a Harpy gives her super strength, speed, hearing, and flight. She is also very very graceful. Phaedra is the Duchess of her land. She is in charge of her people as they do not have Queen's or King's.

Back story blurb: Striker is charming and kind most of the time but if you do anything to hurt or endanger his precious Phaedra or Ophelia..then he is down right cruel and mean. He would do anything to protect them. Striker is in charge of his lands army of harpies and he is the Duchesses and little Duchesses personal guard. He is also her late husbands brother, making him her brother in law and Ophelia's uncle.

Name: Percival; Grand Duke of Bernicia

Age: 43

Race: Baseline Human (Non-magical)

Back story Blurb: Percival is the Duke of Bernicia. He is strong, intelligent, but has a tendency to be stubborn. He is a favorite among the jousting tournaments and, more often than not, takes home a title.

Additional Notes: Percival is unmarried, but is the adopted father of one; a young girl named Roselyn. Percival wears a cast iron bracelet around his left wrist. It is thin with a tight spiral as decoration. If asked, he will not reveal why he wears it, only that he never takes it off.

Back story Blurb: Roderick was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and loves to remind people of it. He is also a favorite at tournaments, but doesn't come up with wins as often as he would like. It is a well known fact that Roderick keeps a sort of summer home where what only could be described as a harem presides. Every few months, he buys another girl and adds her to his extensive collection.

Back story Blurb: Naerwyn was born to a small family in a forest realm, but it was recently invaded by an army of Drow and taken over. The elves within the forest were either slain or sold. Naerwyn was one of the unlucky few whom were sold to traders.

Additional Notes: Naerwyn basically has no idea what she's in for nor what to do in social situations that don't involve tea and biscuits with other elves.

Back story Blurb: Arydia grew up as a lord's daughter, but her mother had died given birth to her. It wasn't until she was nine that her father had remarried and received a step-brother. But with her mother's failed health came her father's, causing Arydia to be stuck with her rather unloving step-family. Her mother gave little attention to Arydia and more to her step-brother Damien up until her 17th year being alive and still, luckily, healthy with her work condition. Now her step-mother is looking to remarry that may just cause her to be tossed out onto the streets if she isn't careful enough.

Additional Notes: Arydia, through all the crap she's been through, is still the kind and compassionate girl her father had brought her up to be. She has a nasty habit of finding the best in people, even if its her step-brother, who actually isn't all that bad from time to time.

Zimmerdale: That looks good! Everything checks out and you're almost ready to jump in :)

What I mean by that is that we play a turn-based game. It keeps everything straight, you know what I mean? Currently, I'm waiting on CrimsonShadow to take her turn, but once she does, go ahead and make your first post. It shouldn't be too long of a wait.

I was going to make her step-mother go to the festival with her step-brother because she doesn't trust him going by himself etc.

I just imagined someone going 'Don't you see the giant festival going on? The one right behind you? Turn around. Now go get a piece of cake, a flag of your knight of choice, and get to PARTYING!! It's the SOLSTICE! We are going to cut lose!'
