Sakamae quietly followed Atsuko through the house, making sure to keep his footsteps soft and light. A trick he learned from reading too much about ninja. Keeping his eyes on Atsuko, yet his hearing on the house about them, creeping up the stairs. Tilting his head as he watched Atsuko pull down the door to the attic, shaking his head lighlty "It's ok Atsuko." Sakamae made his way up the stairs, following her into the room. A deep blush glowing on his cheeks as he watched Atsuko get on her hands and knees and crawl, causing her dress to ride up slightly, exposing her thighs. Quickly averting his gaze towards the slanted ceiling, then to the poor furnituring. Sakamae had to bite down on his lower lip hard, the anger building within him starting to boil like venom. The curse of being a snake, rage as venom. Sakamae took a deep breath to calm himself before crawling over to Atsuko. Wrapping his arms around her and rubbing her back softly. "Shh it's ok Atsuko.. It's ok" Moving a hand to stroke her hair "Is there anything you want to get before we go back to my room, where it's safe and comfy" Looking deep into Atsuko's eyes.

Atsuko looked up at Sakamae and then leaned against himnd held onto his shirt tightly. She closed her eyes and took comfort in his warmth. She nodded and then sighed opening her eyes. "Yes... My clothes.... And ribbons..." she said softly and picked up her small wooden box that held all her presious ribbons and put them in the bag. She then crawled over to the fake dressed and pulled out the clothes and put them in the bag. "Thats it.... I told you... I don't have much..." she whispered softly knowing he would understand now why she thought of his room as an amazing treasure trove compared to her cramped bare room.

Sakamae whispered softly into Atsuko's ear feeling her cling to his shirt "Sssh, it's ok" Softly stroking her silky soft hair. Sakamae nods listening to her, watching as she pulled out a small wooden box and then her clothes. Picking up the bag as she finished filling it with items. Shaking his head softly "It's ok Atsuko.. these ribbons seem to mean a great deal to you, and that alone makes them far more valuable then everything in my room combined" Placing a hand lighlty on her shoulder "Come on, let's go home" a tender caring smile dancing on his lips.

Atsuko nodded and then crawled to the stairs. She slowly walked down them knowing Sakamae would never get her hurt. She walked down them and once her feet hit the floor a light turned on. She gasped seeing her father and he pounched her. She cried out and fell to the floor painfully. Coughing she tried to crawl away from him but he grabbed her by the neck and then threw her intorhe wall. "You little bitch! This is all your fault!" he snarrled and she cried as he kicked her hard making her wreal in pain on the floor.

Sakamae watched Atsuko climb down the stairs, waiting for her to get down before getting on the steps. Upon hearing her cry out and hearing the vile words from her father, all sense seemed to leave Sakamae. Pure rage and urge of protection engulfing him, his eyes seeming to glaze over like a snake's who spotted a prey. Sakamae didn't bother climbing down the steps, he merely leapt down them, allowing the force of his weight to carry through his knee. His kneecap making contact with Atsuko's father's cheek. Sending the man crashing into the room behind him, with Sakamae hitting the floor rolling. Coming up in a low crouch, like a snake about to strike. Yelling out, almost like a hiss "Atsssuko... ruuun... nooow". His eyes focusing on her father.

Atsuko looked up shocked at Sakamae as he took down her father. She nodded and tried to get up but whimpered and grabbed her side the pain exploding within her. Her father growled and got up kicking her aside making a sickening snap come from her and she screamed in pain and sobbed terribly. Her side was on fire with pain and the feeling was unbareable. She laid there unable to move as she sobbed and her father growled at Sakamae. "Get out of my house you little prick! Leave my whore of a daughter alone!" he snarrled wnd threw a pounch at him.

Sakamae watched as Atsuko's father kicked her again, the moment he heard the unnatural snapping noise, something within his mind snapped with it. He was no longer the calm, nerdy Sakamae.. the venomous serpent within him coiled it's muscles, intent solely on one target. His eyes quickly taking in the man's height and weight, if Sakamae had any chance it would be within the first move. A move that Bairai taught him to use only in the most dire of circumstances. One requiring both timing and endurance, for the slightest error would mean your defeat. Sakamae remained nearly motionless as he saw the man throw the punch, watching for it's direction, slowly sliding his right foot back.. As the fist made contact with his right shoulder, Sakamae bit his lip hard to ignore the pain. In the exact same instant letting his body rock backwards to the right to deflect most of the punch's force. At the same time using the momentum to bring his left arm down hard upon the man's elbow, letting him experience the same sickening snap as the bone gave way. Yet Sakamae wasn't finished, he wanted to make sure the man wouldn't get up any time soon. He allowed the momentum to keep going, letting his body complete the turn. Bringing his injured arm up, wincing at the pain, letting the gathered force of the turn transverse through his arm, the back of his elbow connecting with the back of the man's neck. It wasn't fatal, but it was sure to make sure the man would wake up with an agonizing head and neck ache. A small glint flickering in his eye as he heard the man fall forward.

Atsuko watched with wide eyes trying not to sob more then she already had. She was shocked watching Sakamae and yelped for him when she heard the sickening crack. She watched as her father fall and then smiled weakly. "Sakamae...." she whispered softly unable to move as she laid there in massive pain.

Sakamae stood there, his eyes cold and hard, the fingers on his right hand trembling softly.. He could feel the shoulder dislocated from the joint. Upon hearing Atsuko say his name, that darker part of his mind drifted back to sleep, his nerdy self popping back awake "Atsuko!!" He quickly rushes to her side, placing his hands gently on her "Are you ok?" Worry clouding his eyes and voice.. He grabs the bag he let her borrow, wincing each time he moved his right arm.. fumbling with the pouches, finding the one that contained the emergency cellphone he always carried.. fumbling with the digits until he found the one for Michi, crying out "Michi!!! Help!!"

Atsuko suckedd in breath as the pain hit her body just from his simple touch.. "Sakamae.... Sakamae..... I think... He broke my ribs..." she whispered painfully and watched as he moved. "Dont strain yourself..." she choked and then listened as he called Michi. "What happened?! Is Atsuko crying?! Where are you two?!" he demanded his voice urgent and commanding as Arsuko tried stifling her sniffles.

Sakamae softly used one hand to stroke Atsuko's hair "It's ok Atsuko" worry straining his voice, turning back to the phone. "At Atsuko's... She wanted to get her things.. Her father ambushed us.. I think he broke her ribs.. Send help please" His voice full of worry and urgentness.. His eye glancing over at Atsuko's father's unconscious form, a glare glinting in his eye.

As Kisuke dragged him away, he muttered "No promises." He snathed the trousers from Bairai's hands. "Thanks." He pulled them on and mumbled. "That was a bit embarassing man..." he put on the dirty shirt that he had left in the bathroom a couple of days ago. His face was still stained a pink color, as he shook out his hair. "Well, I fixed things with Isabella, but what if something happens?" he leaned on the sink.

Lilly smiled in Yoichi's arms. The age, of course, did go through her miund, but she didn't want that to get in the way of how she felt. She grinned wider. He was well over eighteen and she was merely fourteen. Lilly's soft hand met his soft hair and she ran her fingers through the locks. Her fingers ran down to under Yoichi's chin. She kissed his lips and sparks immediately flew.

Isabella looked longing at the door. She sighed and took a drink before curling up and drawing things on her blanket. Suddenly a coughing fit came onto her. She felt like she couldn't breath she was coughing so much. "Kisuke" she managed between coughs. SHe was scared she wouldn't be able to stop coughing.

Michi growled hearing Sakamae'swords. "Alright. I will be their with help in under five minutes. Tell atsuko to hold on." he said firmly an hung up. Atsuko looked up at Sakamae with tearful eyes and slowly nodded. "Okay...." she whispered softly and then looked at Sakamae's hurt arm. "Im so sorry.... You got hurt..." she whimpered.

Yoichi smiled softly as he looked into that beautiful little face as Lilly ran her hand threw his long hair. He enjoyed her touch and as he felt her hand move under his chin his smile softened more. Suddenly feeling her lips on his shocked him but he kissed her back. He couldn't resist when hr felt such a shock from her lips as he kissed her.

Sakamae listened to Michi closely, nodding his head even though he was on the phone "Ok, I will" Sakamae flipped the phone closed, turning back to Atsuko, movng a hand to stroke her hair "Sssh, it's ok... My arm's not too bad, you just try not to move too much til Michi gets here" Sakamae stayed knelt by Atsuko's side

Bairai couldn't help but snicker listening to Kisuke, shaking his head "Haha, perhaps. But it was hilarious, and I'm sure Isabella enjoyed the thought" Bairai leant against the wall as Kisuke fixed himself up "That's good" He lets out a soft sigh, moving over and slapping Kisuke on the shoulder blade "Then work through it.. all you have to do is stay honest and true to your heart, and everything will be fine"

Atsuko looked up at Sakamae and wished she could move and hug him tightly. "Well.... It's my fault forthis happening..." she whispered and then closed her eyes as tears came down her cheek. Suddenly the door bursted open and Michi ran in. Guard came and took her father away and had aprehended her mother already. Michi ran to the two and gasped seeing both of their conditions. "They shall pay." he growled and Atsuko whimpered in fear at the look in Michi's wyes. He then shook his head and the nurses rushed to them and began to treat their wounds as Michi took care of Atsuko's parents outside. Soon Atsuko was bandaged completely on her torso so she couldn't move or bend her torso making her hand her head as she waited forthem to finish on Sakamae.

Sakamae looked at Atsuko intently yet caringly, shaking his head "Nonsense. This isn't your fault. Now no more thinking that" Sakame moved a hand to wipe her tears away when he turned his head quickly down the steps, started as the door was kicked open. Sakamae looked down as he saw the look of Michi's eyes, his mind having the vaguest of flashes from just moments ago. He nearly lost full control. Whispering softly just for Atsuko to hear "I'm sorry". Sakamae was then moved by a nurse so she could start to bandage his arm "It's ok, it's only a dislocated shoulder.. Bairai says just to work it out"

The nurses nodded and then looked at Sakamae. "We're going to have to pop it back into socket... It's just out an hasn't damaged anything so prepare yourself." one said and the others held him as she forced it back in with a pop. Atsuko flinched and tears ran down her face as a nurse helped her up. "We'll send pain pills for both of youtwo master Sakamae's room... You two need rest." a nurse said and michi walked in. "Are you two alright?"

((*blushes and wraps arms around your neck and kisses you deeply*))

Sakamae nodded "I understand" As the nurses held him, Sakamae bit the inside of his lip, his good hand gripping his pants leg, winching sliglty as the shoulder was forced back into socket. Sakamae slowly stood, oh so slowly and lightly rotating his arm "Ah, that's better" trying to smile softly through the throbbing sensation. Sakamae looked to Michi, lowering his head, his smile disappearing. "I'm sorry I wasn't able to keep Atsuko from getting hurt Michi sir"

Michi put a hand on Sakamae's good shoulder and smiled reasuringly. "relax... You protected her more then I did.... Thank you Sakamae..." he whispered and Atsuko looked at them both really unable to move. Michi walked over to her and gently set her on her feet making her wince. "Im sorry such horrible pain and suffering has fallen apon your shoulders Atsuko.... I am going to trust you in Sakamae's care, and I will check on you two soon.... But for now go rest..." he said and looked a Sakamae. "Ill have the servants bring you soup to help you both heal." he said and walked out of the house. Atsuko slowly walked to Sakamae's side and looked in his eyes being brave and doing her best to push out the pain. "We should go..." she whispered painfully.

Sakamae looked up at Michi as he placed a hand on his shoulder, nodding his head at his words. Though Michi was right, Sakamae couldn't help but feel like he could... should.. have done more. "No need to thank me Michi sir". Sakamae twitched slightly seeing the pain Atsuko went through just from standing up. He watched her and Michi talk a bit bfore his eyes moved to Atsuko, watching her come over to him. Smiling softly, looking into her eyes "Yeah, let's get home and get some rest" Before Atsuko could complain, Sakamae leant down and picked her up in his arms. Cradling her upper body with his left arm as his right arm held her legs. Starting to walk down the steps and towards his.. their.. room.

Atsuko smiled and then squeeked in surprise as Sakamae picked her up. he held her as if she was nothing... Well she kinda was... Last time she ha checked she was barely 70 pounds. She bit her lip as a blush invaded her cheeks. The nurses and servants made way for them and she looked at Sakamae as he walked. "You can put me down you know.... I can walk... He didn't break my legs..." she whispered and then bit her lip again in worry. "Please I don't want you hurting your arm."

Sakamae continued carrying Atsuko towards the wing of the house that belonged to him and Bairai.. and now Atsuko. He looked down at her in his arms "Yes, but he did injure your ribs, which is just as bad" wanting to get his mind off that fact, he smiled softly "It's ok, as I said, Bairai says the best medicine for a dislocated joint is to work it out.. So no worries"

Atsuko sighed knowing he was right and gave in. She held onto his shirt tightly as he walked and once in the room she smiled. She was releaved to be gone from her family. She then felt the silk sheets and sighed contently closing her eyes. "But I'll be stuck in bed.... And we have school." she whispered mostly to herself as she closed her eyes and didn't dare move her arms again feeling her whole torso just burning.

Sakamae gently layed Atsuko onto the bed, tucking her in with the silky soft sheets. Grinding his teeth softly as he moved his arm continuously. Looking at Atsuko "That's no problem Atsuko.. I'll be sure to pick up your assignments for you.. Or I know Michi at least will" Sitting down on the bed next to her, softly trailing his fingers through her hair "And I can always tutor you, I already know most of the material"
