"I needed to be alone. And this is a nice place." she said. She didn't trust that he said he was unarmed. But she knew where her blades were, so she was prepared to defend herself if she must.

He knew she didn't trust him. "If you wish I'll show you I'm unarmed, if it makes you more comfortable." he said. "You know I could use a swim anyway, isn't it not good for the blades of weapons to hit salt water?" He took of his light coat. "Well any good swordsman would know that he said as he took his top of and jumped into the water, not finding it cold at all.

She glared at him. Of course she knew that. Yet she still felt insulted about it.

He got out and dried himself with fire, as he put his tp and light coat back on. "I wouldn't have done that if I was armed, now please, stop with the hostility, I'm here to calm down and destress, and I bet you are too, lets just be civilized and chat." he pleaded. He didn't like to fight or feel hostility for anyone.

She thought about it. Then she sighed. "All right. Let's talk." she said. She tried to relax, but couldn't relax completely.

He sat down on a rock. "So, why do you do it?" he asked. "Take part in the army I mean."

"I told you. To help avenge my brother." she said.

"I don't think that's what he'd want you to do to honor him, I think he'd want you to have a happy life, not one full of vengence and hatred." he said. "I know it's an opinon from a demon, but please consider it, you don't have to have all of that hatred in you, all of that ......" he couldn't find words for what he was trying to say. "My point, is, whether you take the advise or not is up to you, is all the hatred and stress of vengence will just shorten your life on you, he'd want you to honor him differently, i believe."

"I can't be happy until he's been avenged. He was killed even though he wasn't part of the war. He was to young to die." she said.

"Yeah, but do you really think he'd want you to live a life of hatred?" he asked.

"I don't know. But it isn't fair for him to not be avenged." she said.

"Idon't know what kind of personality he had, but if I were him, I'd want you to honor me in a different way then revenge, so maybe, just maybe he wants that honoring as well, how are your brothers and father taking it?" he asked then felt stupid for it.

"I don't think they even know. I haven't told them. I know they would take it badly." she said.

"Why do you think that vengence is the right path?" he asked her trying to figure out what she was thinking. "Vengence only destroys the soul, and yes demons do have them, well most, and I do'n think that anyone wants you to destroy the soul they know you have.

"It just wasn't fair for him to die!" she said.

"It might not be fair that he died, I know I think it's not fair that my dad was killed, but I'm not living a life of hatred." he said in response. He didn't know what else to say.

"Your father was killed? I didn't know that." she said.

"Yeah, he was training me to become a good man, and he was killed right in front of me, So I did what he wanted me to, and what I wanted to." he said remembering his father's last words to him.

"I'm sorry he died." she told him.

"As I'm soory that your brother did." he replied. "Might I get you something to eat?" he offered kindly. "It's the most I could do for you letting me go like you did."

She thought about it for a while. "Alright. Might as well." she said. She was starting to get hungry.

He had a slight urge to hold her hand but didn't, He stood up andand started to walk slowly toward the diner that he had left her at last time, this time was a friendly event.

She followed behind him silently. She wasn't sure why he was being so nice to her. They were enemies. So it didn't make sense.

He walked into the diner and took a seat at the same place, he liked this seat. and waited for her to silently join him. He wondered what he was thinking, and how his commander and comrades would feel if they found out about this.

She followed him into the diner. She went over to him and sat down. It was the same place as before. And she hoped she wouldn't get stabbed again. Father would never let her out again if that happened.
