"I won't stab you this time, I promise." he asured her. "I wouldn't be able to anyway, and besides, your father most likely didn't like the last time it happened, did he?" he asked. "I'm sorry that I stabbed you, but I need a delay tactic and that was what I thought of."

"No. He didn't. He wouldn't let me leave for days! I hate being locked up. You should have thought of something different." she said.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't at that moment." he said sincerely. "But I'll make it up to you, and I did purposely stop before it was a killing strike." He thought of why he did that.

"Why did you stop? And how would you make it up to me?" she asked.

"I stopped, because I didn't want to kill you, I don't like killing, it makes me feel all icky inside, bad for doing that, taking someones life." he answered her first question thinking of how to answer her second. "I haven't thought that far, but I do feel like I need to make it up to you."

"You can try to make it up to me. But I'm not sure if I'll forgive you." she said.

"I know it'll will be hard, but I want to." he said feeling abligated to make it up to her.

"Why? Why would you want to be nice to me? We're enemies." she said.

"No, we are not enemies, I have done nothing to you, before that incident, and you have done nothing to me, this may be war, but can't we just be friends, we can work together, isn't gaining peace worth a chance, a risk?" he asked. "By the way, why did you let me go when you found me sneaking into the Angels base?"

"I don't know why I let you go.....And I guess we can try to be friends. But I'm not sure it will work out." she said.

"Everything works out with a bit of effort." he said holding out his hand for a hand shake. "Friends?"

She thought about it for a moment. "Alright. Friends." she said, shaking his hand.

He smiled warmly at his new friend. "Well I did say I'd get you something to eat." as he finished a waitress came by. "How can I help you two?" she asked in a friendly tone. "I'd like a cheese burger with onion rings." he answerede then she looked to his company at the table.

"I want a cheeseburger with oninion rings as well." she told the waitress.

He smiled a little, as the waitress walks off to the kitchemn to give the cook their order. "You seem to have a bit of an appatite for a girl." he says. "must be your line of work."

"Maybe. But I've always had a big appitite." she told him.

"I've had an average appitite for a guy, I've only eaten when I need to as well, I've trained my body to live a couple days off of a couple of meals at optimum performance, my commander doesn't notice that I only have two meals every other day." He strangely liked her company.

"My brothers are the same most of the time. Until father notices......So...What is your name exactly?" she asked.

"Angel." he answers. "I am greatful that you did let me go, your father could have killed me and I still wouldn't give him any information, and then my comrades wouldn't be too happy." he says. "I know it's a strange way to thank you, and it's just more that I owe you."

"Angel?? Your a demon named Angel? That's really weird." she said. "And you really don't have to thank me." she told him.

"Yeah, it's kind of ironic, but you don't know, anything is possible after all, right?" he says. "Ah, but I do have to, you did save my life." he wanted to say a bit more but decided against it.

"Alright. I understand that." she was silent as the waitress delivered their food and walked off. "My name is Thea." she told him, taking a big bite of her burger.

"Thea, cool name." he says taking a bite of his burger as well, then taking a big bite, he felt kind of like a pig, he smiled at the feeling.

She chewed her food slowly. The picked up an onion ring and ate it. "Why do you want to be my friend?" she asked.

"Well, it's hard to explain exactly why, but one reason is because I've never really gone with what people said about others aacording to what they are, and not who they are, I can see that under the hate that you are good person." he says. He wanted to be a bit more than friends, but being friends is good progess.
