"I've explained that one to you." he says jokingly. "I joined to try and end the senseless violence, that's part of why I didn't bring any weapons with me today, if I'm killed, I'll know I tried to stop the violence." he says. "But I won't give up trying, and hopefully our friendship can help that goal to be achieved, of course, if you don't mind helping me achieve my goal."

"Alright. I would like to help you achieve that goal." she said. Though she was still sure there was no point trying and the violence was never going to end.

He was sure he could at least end this war, he'd stop the blood shed here, he would make sure these groups lived in peace, even if it killed him doing so. "Thanks, it is strange though, your the one who told me I wouldn't be able to, your probably right, but I won't give up, I will achieve this for me and my father." he says finishing his food using that to think of something else to talk about.

"I understand that." she said. She was silent for a while as she ate her food and was soon finished. She didn't know what else to say right now.

"And I understnd your point, to an extent, it will be hard, but not impossible." he says. "Lets change the topic shall we, War is so depreesive." he said thinking about what to talk about. "What do you like to do on your free time?" he asked her.

She thought about it. "I normally like to just spent time on the beach or in the park. Places where it's quiet." she said.

"Yeah, I like that to, and places that make me momentarily forget that I'm involved in senseless violence, I've done many things I'm not proud of, I did them just following orders, I've been made to slaughter angel children, not a sight I liked, it still haunts me, but believe me when I say I don't like to do things like that, if you get to know me you'll see the kind of person I really am." he promised. "As i will see the kind of oerson yu really are I hope."

"Maybe you will. Maybe you won't. We'll have to see later." she said. Though she didn't like the fact that he has killed angel children. She personally has never killed anybody. Ever.

"I know you don't like the fact that I've killed, I was just following orders, I am a soldier and a scout, so when I go on soldier missions, it isn't uncommon to have to kill, it's kill or be killed then, but I'm willing to stop that for peace, I know hand to hand combat really well, so I don't need weapons on those missions." he says. "Your lucky, I'm sure you haven't had to kill anyone, it changes you, in different ways, depending on the kind of person you are."

"You're right. I've never had to kill before. And I hope I never will. But I'm not going to let the fact that you have ruin our friendship before it even began." she said.

"Thank you, And I'll promise not to kill anymore young ones, even if I'm ordered to." he relied to her.

"Alright. That sounds good." she said, smiling at him.

"To me too." he says smiling back at her. "I think it's about time for me to go." he said placing money on the table then standing up, our waitress is coming can you tell her that's for our bill, I've remembered the prices of the food and stuff here, I'll see you round." he said sliding to the side and starting to walk to the door, just as they're waitress got to the table. "How was everything?" she asked the girl at the table, Angel looked back at her and couldn't help but think of how cute she was. Then he walked out the door, and started back to camp.

"Everything was very good." she said. Here's the money for the food." she told her. She gave the money to the waitress and stood and headed to the door. She needed to be getting back to the base or her father might start worrying. And when he started worrying, he sent someone after her. Normally one of her brothers. She didn't want to have to deal with that right now. So she needed to hurry back.

ANgel started to sprint into the shadows, noticing an angel patrol, and traveled like that until he was halfway on the road he needed, he walked quickly to the base, and to his tent, not being bothered by anyone, they knew that if he wanted to talk to them in a casual way he would, once in his tent, he laid down and read a book.

Thea got back to the base without seeing anybody. But once she was there, she ran into her brothers. They offered her some training, so she accepted even though she was tired. She never passed up the opprotunity to train with her brothers. A few hours later, she collapsed into her bed, completely exhausted. She was instantly asleep.

ANgel then feel asleep reading his book, tried beyond his belief and dropped the book losing his spot. He slept dreamlessly, other than seeing Thea in his head for some odd reason.

Thea slept soundly without dreaming. She awoke a few hours later, stretching.

He awoke to screaming outside and heard a commotion, it was a patrol of theirs being carried back to camp, he knew it was, it was from what was happening around him, he just knew it was an angel patrol who killed them, he only promised to to kill children, he didn't say anything about angels who killed his good friends, and he knew one of his good friends had been killed, he just didn;t want to leave his tent, he didn't want that sight to be the last he had of his friend he knew was gone, his thoughts were confirmed when one of his other friends came in and told him that his thoughts were right, he didn't want to see that friend died last, he wanted to remember his smiling face, him playing soccor with that friend.

She went around the base, bored. She heard that one of the patrols had killed some demons last night. Her thoughts instantly went to Angel and she hoped he was ok. If he wasn't, she would hurt whoever hurt him.

His friend left him, knowing that ANgel prefered to hurt alone and silently. He wanted to see Thea, he wanted to know who killed his friend, he wanted to know if he died fighting, like a hero should, he didn't want revenge, nothing like that, that wouldn't honor his friends memory, he just wanted to know how he died, and how he lived, he knew already, he had gotten to know this friend very well.

She went around the base for the rest of the day a little upset. She was glad when she could finally leave. She instantly headed out toward the beach. That place always made her feel better.

The whole day Angel didn't do as much as usaul, then he was sent on patrol, and he went to the beach after he checked the border, he would feel better their, he never liked loseing comrades, or friends, it hurt him too much.

Thea stood at the edge of the water. She looked around every few minutes. She grinned, seeing Angel. She went over to him.

He saw her come over to him. He smiled a half smile. "Hey."
