But for a more thorough consideration, why do you want it? If it's something like long trips, take into consideration the battery life. Also, the size and brightness of the screen. Where will you be reading it? Is the sun going to affect it? And if you get the iPod touch, will you use the other features? Finally, I'd look at price.

... Overall, I'd go with the one that'll get you more out of it :)

yeah but a 8gb ipod tough 4g cost 229.00 and well that's the size of my ipod now and its almost full. I think I might just wait till my birthday next year cause for all I know they might come out with a new model by then
