man it just kills me how slow it is. you'd think with a holiday coming soon everybody who could would be on here posting as much as possible to earn money! but of course, I'm always here because I'm chatty ;)

yeah, I don't know why I keep forgetting about finals ... well, I'm sure it has to do with the fact that my kid is still in grade school and college was a long time ago.

I'm doing okay. not really doing much right now. my son is sick and sleeping but we need to get some grocery shopping done so I'm sitting here trying to figure out how to do that.

my sister called me earlier today wanting me to come over and give her cat a hair cut. most of her fur is just one giant hair ball. I told my sister 1.) I do not want to go to her house because of all of her dogs, 2.) my son is sick, 3.) it is winter and I am not going to be cutting any hair off any animal in the winter, and 4.) at that cat's age she should be living in the house to begin with! my sister told me the cat was in her house and I told her, no, I mean ALL WINTER. and that the change in environment for her would cause her to shed and that hair would just work it's way out. that is what I did to my dad's cat that had the same problem. oh the joys of having long haired old cats living outside near a field. I mean, the cat is so arthritic that is one of the main reasons her hair got like that. I also told her to start giving her kitty 1/4 of an aspirin everyday from now on. so she agreed and now we'll just have to sit back and wait and see. it kills me the thought of them having that kitty live outside to begin with, let alone in winter. I pray they keep it up like I told them and that it helps her.

I HATE cramps! do you have a heating pad? you could also eat or drink something hot.

im drinking ginger ale...don't think its helping.i have my laptop on where my cramps hurt and its warm.it feels nice :angel:

ginger ale usually helps with upset tummies. the thing about cramps (and this is gonna be TMI, so if you don't want to know stop reading now!) is that it is the muscles around your uterus squeezing the lining and such that your body has been building up for the past 28 days for in case you got pregnant out. basically it is a very mild labor. :yes:

I'm pretty much done with the "girly talk" anyway.

I'm mostly just sitting here trying to figure out what to do about the needing food but the kid is sick and asleep thing ... well we COULD have pancakes for dinner. then maybe he'll be feeling good enough in the morning to take him shopping with me ...
