do you even want to be tamed? often if a person doesn't want to change, no matter what is tried, it won't work.

Depends on what you mean by tamed, I'm not into the whole master/slave thing, but I'm very lonely these days.

I haven't been in a relationship in a long long time now, my last one ended kinda horribly for me, so I've kept myself alone the entire time. Now I find myself quite extra lonely. :C

I really don't think I could be in another relationship, not for a very long time.
My life is pretty much stuck where it is, doesn't help.

yeah, I keep telling the same to my friends. right now I'm not working because of my son's mental disabilities that I have to be available all the time for in case I gotta go to his school and be home for him when he is home. we live off his SSI. I doubt any man will find that attractive. my son is the center of my universe pretty much and I'm not gonna ever be with anybody who doesn't understand that and isn't willing to include my son ... I think I was just able to express my thought ... my brain kinda fried a circuit halfway through ... basically, my ex-husband (my son's father) treated our son like an inconvenience and hated that he had to share my time and attention with our son. the ex-boyfriend totally ignored my son and pretty much didn't acknowledge his presence. yeah, they were both real winners.

what is really sad is that those two "men" don't see anything wrong with their behavior! that is just sad.
but, like I said, between the interwebz and my son, I really don't have much time to think about being lonely ... except at night ... but oh well, right?

It's not fun being lonely though. Especially at night. When you just want someone to hold.

there are lots of times I wish I had someone to snuggle with ... that wasn't my son laying on me when I don't want him to ... which is the main reason I don't and can't watch romance movies.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of romance movies anyway, but I can see how they might affect someone who is lonely in the least.

I also don't like stupid comedy movies ... where it's about how dumb the main characters are. I don't find that funny. I like funny that requires a brain to enjoy, you know?

Me too.
I thought sarcasm, and dark humour.
The main character being an idiot and getting slapped around by random things isn't funny. 8|

YES! exactly!
I also like horror ... suspense is good, just like no murder mysteries and stuff. those are annoying. I don't like sitting through like "lets catch that serial killer" or "phsycho slayer" type movies ... I need monsters!!

Meh, I'm not big on horror, I just like humour.
Or an awesome soundtrack.
Either one and it's win!
I don't like a lot of movies actually, my favourites are all animated.
Makes me feel like a kid still, and also, old...since they're all from the 80's.

my son has the tv mostly on Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon or Disney Channel so we watch lots of cartoons ... but yeah, like you said, none of the ones I grew up on in the 80's. what is most sad to me is there is no Saturday morning cartoons anymore. I remember getting up super early on Saturday mornings, even earlier than on school days, and sitting in front of the tv from about 6am until noon watching all the cartoons on ABC, CBS, and NBC ... having them turned down so low my parents wouldn't hear them and yell at us to be quiet or go back to bed!

I grew up in the 90's but I still watched cartoons from the 80's, like G.I. Joe and The Transformers.
I was big into the Transformers, last year I bought the 2 disc edition of the 86 movie, watched it several times since. XD
If I still had money to spend on that kinda stuff, I'd find the same for the G.I. Joe movie, I remember seeing that many times in my youth. Oh, it is sad day when I start saying things like "In my youth" I'm only god damn 23. D:

Hiya Lone! good to see you again!
oh no, it's been when you have to sit down and explain stuff to "kids these days" about stuff you had when you were a kid and you are only 36 ...
----------
my big problem, age wise, is I still feel like a know-nothing teenager trapped in an adult's life and I have no idea what is going on or what I should be doing about it ...

I also grew up on old music and thus that's what I feel I'm attached to and enjoy, I don't understand kids these days and their metal and hard rock.
Back in my youth, I listened to Steve Miller and Queen.
Nowadays I listen to all this 70's progressive rock, I'm a die-hard fan of that stuff.

I dislike the music that I heard on the radio a year or so ago that you couldn't really tell you were listening to a different song because they all sounded just alike ... or, my other pet peeve, when the beat of the lyrics has nothing to do with the beat of the music. it's like listening to 2 different songs at once and they both suck.
