Which series of Tenchi Muyo are you watching?

I still haven't watched all my anime either. damn.

I finished watching all of the Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-ohki series, so I moved onto the Tenchi TV (Tenchi Universe) series.

Oh, you know I haven't seen the Ryo-ohki one. Did it turn out any good? Or after all those years, did it sort of fall flat?

I didn't care for the newer episodes to it, they were...typical anime.
But quite the twist ending, that's for sure.

Oh. The "twist" has intrigued me. Do you think, as someone who was quite invested in the stories in my younger years, it will be spoilt/ruined for me to watch the newer one now?

It might, it might not.
I watched the original episodes of Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki, Tenchi TV and Shin Tenchi Muyo! way back when.
The only series I'm not looking forward to much is the GXP series, I've seen a few eps, it's not that great, and kinda confusing to be honest.

Also, I watched all the dubbed versions of these, there isn't a dub of the continuation of the Ryo-ohki series though, so I had to watch various subbed versions, some not so well spell-checked. Or grammar-checked. Or English checked.

Anyway, I'm headed off to bed now, G'night.

The first Tenchi Series I watched was Shin Tenchi Muyo/Tenchi in Tokyo. The character of Sakuya really resonated with me. I know she's not a popular choice, but she was so sweet and earnest and (importantly) legal. I of course liked the other series as well, but it's that one that continues to have a place in my heart.
