I just went and cleaned the hamster cage. and it's a darn skippy thing I did too! apparently, the water bottle spilled and I have no idea how long they were out of water!!! needless to say, they all kinda squealed at each other when another was trying to muscle in for a drink! I finally ended up squirting a bit of water on each one so by the time they had licked themselves dry they weren't thirsty anymore. and all the bedding seemed to be gone! I have no idea where it went, it wasn't near where the cage tends to go ... unless I didn't put near as much in there the last time as I thought I had. and while I cleaned their cage they got to run around and play in the empty air conditioner box with a dozen or so toys. but they were all pretty happy to get back in their clean cage with water and a heaping full food dish!

and then of course I washed my hands twice and vacuumed the carpet to be sure to get every little poo up.

maybe they ATE the bedding :O

naaaaaah. I think I just put in less than I thought. but they have gobs of it now! I need to get tubes so I can set up 2 other beds ... right now 2 of the girls are sharing the little house and the runt girly is using the wheel as her bed!
