well, he can read 140 "sight" words so far. it's really tough to get him to pay attention and do his work. ADHD and Asperger's combined make it interesting to try and find ways to get him to do what you want which usually only works a few times and then you gotta try something else.

I see. Well I hope he gets to read more soon. :( Poor guy, it must be tough.

well, it does force me to read his games to him and he is actually learning a lot from that, though he doesn't want to admit it. I also explain the bigger words to make sure he understands them and he actually uses them appropriately in every day conversation!

Yeah my mom uses big words a lot so I have to ask her what they mean. xD its quite annoying sometimes. :(

so far he likes to know the bigger words. it's so cute listening to him cork off with big words in front of my friends and the stunned looks on their faces! :XD

xD I'm glad he likes them. I would love to se there faces!

ugh I hate explaining why my sick child cannot go outside in the cold and play with the other kids.

A lot of kids don't understand why they can;t go out and play where there sick. :( I hope you guys feel better soon
