It's not the look of being mpreg...It's more than that which is scary.

There's women who freak out at the thought of pregnancy and that's "natural" for them to be pregnant. So it's understandable that it's weird. Some people think of pregnancy like parasites. That's a bit extreme, but I've heard the opinion quite a bit.

Considering that the environment of the female's reproductive system is completely hostile to invading sperm, I'm not surprised. Men are depositing their little soldiers in an acidic environment that's out to get them. And then the egg is a fortress that they must lay siege to and hopefully get in. Nature is crazy.
