The marketplace is actually kind of... simple yet complex. It doesn't follow the Price Guide at all (which majorly sucks because some items skyrocketed in price and some items that were worth a ton of gold are now worth nothing) so going based on the Price Guide it kind of hard. There is the Exchange *snuggles Exchange shop* where a lot of people list their commons for a set price and that is what you buy it for from them (very simple and straight forward).

Now, the Marketplace is all about know the name of certain items, like the Contribution Items. The CI I am wearing it Pirates Booty, and to find it in the Market Place you would have to just search for a buyer. Selling something is fairly easy; just follow the steps and you will have selling down in no time.

The whole thing with the Market Place is not many people are will to buy expensive items. For the first little bit I honestly suggest looking around the Exchange and getting a feel for that before really digging into the Market.

Exchange is a lot of lurking. Also, if you are looking for an item, ask around large chats (like this one, or Users Pick). Sometimes someone might be selling (or know someone who is selling). ^^
