Alright then, the moon wasn't visible. Still, if it wasn't visible and doesn't produce hear or UV rays it can't burn you. Just like if you sit behind glass you can't get sunburnt because the UV rays don't reach your skin.

I only called it moon burn because it was night time. It's possible you got it earlier in the day and it finally produced at night.

True. I don't remember what I did during the day, but I was just in shock. I complained that Scottish skin was so inclined to be in the rain that any heat shocked it into burning haha.
