Due to the make-up of a human being and the various chemicals that are within, I have concluded that you matter.
I'm sorry I couldn't resist.

Glad to be here. Not really sure when to bring things up yet, but I'm re adapting to forums and being "social" with people I don't know. *leans into my palms* I suppose I could start with a question.
Something like: "Who's looking forward to the upcoming meteor shower at the end of the month?"

that's this month? i thought the meteor showers were usually in August. Or maybe that's just my area?
i don't often catch the meteor showers. we tend to get clouds on the night of. pretty consistently to. so annoying. i did see the blood harvest lunar eclipse moon though! It was amazing...
I'm missing something in that... super moon i think it was.

A dork is an understatement my dear
I am captain oblivious, weirdest and dorkiest of all .
METEOR SHOWER!?! WHERE!?! I love those, but I've not seen one in years and years. :( Where I live there is a blanket of clouds all the time.
If you ever want practice being social, feel free to bother me at will. I'm anti-social outside of mene so this is my social life

I just did a check. I apologize. The meteor shower is at the end of NEXT month. There IS a full moon tonight/today. A strawberry moon on the summer solstice I believe.
But...The Juno satellite should be arriving at Jupiter around July 4. (I'm still amused that Jupiter's wife is checking up on him and his mistresses.)

I will trade you places in a heart beat. Only benefit out here, for me, is clear starry nights, and beautiful sunrises.

I prefer the hills where there are nice homes and neighborhoods .I want to see the sky without to many trees and other clutter .
---------- Post added 06-21-2016 at 08:25 PM ----------
I like Northwest Missouri .In the rural areas unlike in the city's and towns you can see the sky real clear and the stars at night real clear to and hear the crickets .It's really quiet to and lots of privacy .I like the city of Less summit Missouri though .There are areas in the city where people can live and have plenty of privacy with out nosy neighbors like in the smaller towns .The country side though is better for privacy .Or along the banks of the Missouri River to .

We have the hills here, but the cloud reaching all the way down to Oregon doesn't really benefit stargazing.

Random Squee Moment: I had a baby praying mantis in my room! Twitchy tiny little thing.~ All with the arms tucked close to it's chest and the little swipe it made at a beetle that got inside. So cute.~

Just got back from hanging out with a friend for the first time in ages. Why is human interaction more draining than I remember?

In junior high and high school. Though, I suppose, that was mainly with people I knew and in small doses between classes, or when we actually had a PLAN for hanging out. Casual hangouts? I'm playing by ear and usually letting someone else lead the show. I SUCK at it. Especially when it's someone likely to have changed in the years we spent apart.
