I hope so. :( We originally got her from a shelter so that's where she went back to after I moved away from the states. :c

I just hope that if something should happen to me now someone will take care of my current pet snake and not get rid of him like with my cat.

Anta - maybe you should look into someone who might want a snake?

Me and my partner are an emergency foster home mostly for small fuzzy kitties who are in high kill shelters (as we have an opposite issue, we have too much space!)
Perhaps you could find someone similar or find a willing home should the need arise.

I sure hope so! I don't know anyone who likes snakes though. I'll probably have to find someone online, which will be tricky to do if I suddenly die and can't do it myself.

Ahh...I rather like snakes? As long as they're not venomous or large enough to have me for dinner ^^.
Mom on the other hand though....

My snake is a ball python so not venomous and not too large o wo <33 His size is perfect for me to squeeze whenever I'm holding him. I love how his scales feel <333

Okay, two; one in the center of M87, and the one at the center of our own--Saggitarius A*.

I wish I weren't so exhausted all the time, I haven't really had time or energy to hold my snake in a while. Most these days the only time I touch him is when I'm cleaning his box and am shooing him into his hide so I can access the dirty bits easier.

I didn't quite squeal but it was a pretty exciting moment I didn't expect to see the ring of light surrounding the center~

Awwwh . Give your snekky some love! He'd probably appreciate the cuddles ^^
I got a funny snake story from back in high school; one of my classmates had a small pet snake (I think it was a species of garter snake? All I remember now is the little guy was nonvenomous), and he'd gotten permission from my biology teacher to have him in class for a day--in his tank, of course.
Welp, my class got to meet him, and one dingbat in my period decided to troll the poor snake. He kept on trying to and succeeding in booping his nose, and finally apparently the snake got tired of being trolled so he clamped onto the idiots finger. Snake was fine, so was the idiot, who yowled. The biology teacher basically said "that's what you get for trolling the snake".
I thought it was funny X'D

I kinda hope we'll be able to get pictures of closer black holes as well ^^;. It'll make a long ways towards understanding them.
And the wildest part? Because of the insane gravity of the black hole and the lensing as a result, we see both the front and the back of the accretion disk around the black hole. We're literally seeing the entire thing, from one angle. Physics is wild.

One of these days I will Maybe this weekend I guess since I won't be exhausted from work I did stroke him a bit today while cleaning his box.

lol Yeah snakes don't like it when their nose gets booped Or anything that goes near their head really. I've managed to boop my snake a few times, but usually only after I've been holding him for a while so he gets used to the contact. Glad to hear that the snake was okay!

Yeah I hope we'll one day be able to get even clearer pictures of black holes! And wow, I didn't know know about seeing the whole black hole, that's so cool!

Yee, snekkie was okay ^^. Idiot was offended, boo-hoo

Yeah, physics gets weird when hyper-strong gravity is involved X'D

lmao What is he offended about, if some random gigantic thing kept bopping him in the face for no good reason I doubt he'd be happy about it.

Well, if a black hole ever opens up near Earth at least the gravity will kill us all quickly I think, so it won't be too painful. ;;

Leopard geckos are similar to that. They don't like when their nose or head it touched all that much but butt scritches they seem to love as much as a cat.

I have no idea if snakes enjoy butt scritches...or having any part of them touched actually. They don't seem to mind the contact sometimes but it's hard to tell.
