"Oh course" The nurse moved one of the chair over for her. "Is that better?"

Marie nodded and sat by her child. She had one hand on her still swollen stomach and the other on the thick plastic box that her baby boy was in.

Dimmest woke up and looked at the bed wonder where Maire was. He got up looking around and took a sniff and started to follow his nose to fine her.

Marie had tears in the corners of her eyes, but they stayed motionless. She wanted to be able to hold her child, to whisper to it and have it hear her. The box her baby boy was in was like a wall between them and it made her heart ache.

Dimmest followed his wife scent to a window. He looked throught it and sure enough his wife or going to be wife was. He watched in there wonder why she had not woke him when she had gotten up.

Marie sensed him there and a small smile tugged at her lips. She couldn't help but think fondly of him whenever she was near him. She turned her head and smiled softly at him, though the tears were still there. She mouthed 'I love you' since she knew he couldn't hear her through the glass.

Dimmest smiled and nodded to her. i love you to he mouthed. Dimmest watched her and the baby through the glass.

Marie soon turned to him and pointed to the nurse on the other side of the room. She wanted him to come in, but he'd have to go through what she had to just to see her child.

Dimmest nodded and asked the nurse if he could go visit with his wife and child right now. He had to get washed up and ready with the gloves and things before he could go in. Once in side he walked over to Maire and kissed her cheek. "why didn't you wake me."

Marie was glad that he didn't seem annoyed with the procedures like she had been. When he came in, she smiled and looked up at him. Then she looked sheepish. "Because I felt like he was calling to me and I didn't want to disturb you." She also didn't want him to see her as weak as she had been.

He looked over to the little one. "He'll be fine I know it he our son after all."

Marie nodded slightly. "I don't know. It scares me that he's so little." She looked back at her newborn and sighed, almost depressed.

Dimmest mvoed behind Maire and hugged her. "He small but he will be ok stop thinking so nevgively he will be fine." He kisssed Marie head. " He looked over them both. "He just needs a little time in here then he will be able to be taken home."

Marie placed a hand on his arm and smiled a little. He was trying to reassure her and she loved him for that. She nuzzled his arm gently and smiled more. "I guess you're right. I shouldn't worry so much."

"Plus the baby knew when it was time to come out on his own baby are smart like that." Dimmest said as he moved to kiss her head again.

Marie leaned back into him with a small sigh. "She misses him." She said softly to herself.

"she misses him? Your mean our little girl inside you you can hear her?" He asked.

Marie chuckled softly. "I'm not sure about that, but I can feel it somehow. Its like an emptiness that isn't my own." She looked back at Dimmest and smiled a little. "I feel a little empty myself, having only one child inside of me...but the other emptiness is different. Like she misses her twin."

Dimmest hugged Marie. "She will see him soon enough those its good he got out of you when he did. She will have room to grow now she was a little small."

Marie nodded slightly and hung onto him. She hoped the delivery of her baby girl would go smoother than this one had. Then she jumped slightly. "Wait a sec, I haven't told Phil and them yet."

"Who phil?" Dimmest asked

Marie blinked, then laughed. "I meant Chris. What's with my head today?"

"We can tell them after you recovered a little more." He kissed her forehead. "I kind of want to spend time with you and the baby right now."

Marie smiled and nodded a little. She understood what he meant and she was ok with it. Having a ton of people fauning over her wasn't something she really wanted just then.

Dimmest held his wife and looked at there son who actly had down fleather that were a mix of white and black he did not have the demon bat wings. just the start of the feather wings that seem to be growing in slowly.
