Marie gave him a stupid look. "Don't start that, Dimmest." She shook her head and handed Alex to him. "You know very well what we're talking about."

Chris had walked in, past Dimmest and stood to the side of them, making sure nothing happened.

Dimmest took alex and rocked him. "You can tell your guard dog to stand down this has nothing to do with him. This is between my wife and that angel."

Chris glared at him. "I will stay until I feel there is no more threat towards either of my friends."

Marie placed a hand on Chris' arm. "Its alright, Chris. He won't hurt Leo." She looked at Leo and walked over to him, gently touching her child's face. "There has to be a reason for her looks. She's gorgous. She has your eyes and hair..."

Dimmest rocked Alex in his arms and the baby slept. "Well I still say its our no matter what."

Leo paused some thing was going on and he was in the middle of it. "I swear Marie i didn;t do any thing to you when you were with me."

Marie sighed, trying not to be irritated. "I know that. Dimmest doesn't believe me." She gave him a look to not argue. Then she looked at her child. "I already choose you as the godfather, Leo. I hope you accept." She knew that there was something going on, but she knew that if she kept Leo close she could find out.

Leo rocked the little on in his arms. "I would love too but will dimmest being giving me death glares over there."

Marie looked at Dimmest. "He might. But, he will not do anything to you. I know that you haven't and wouldn't do anything to me or my children. So. He has no reason to." She looked at Leo now and sighed softly. "There has to be a reason why she looks like you. The nurse...when I was in delivery...she told me that I might gain new powers from having such a mixed species baby." She looked at Dimmest. "Right? Maybe....I changed the makeup of her body on accident..."

Dimmest looked to Marie. "Well that is true even the doctor said you might gain a new power."

Leo listened to them not sure what to say.

Marie looked from Dimmest to Leo. She sighed and gently touched his arm. "Please say something. Is something like that possible? Or...would I have had to change the DNA completely to actually make it your child? Likeness and blood." She was fishing for a response.

Leo lsiten. "We could do a blood test if you think that."

Marie blinked. "How did I not think of that?" Se looked at Leo surprised. "But...it would cause too much attention if it ended up being true." She ddn't want to be the demon's guina pig.

"well we could go tot he angel hosptial." Leo said

Marie looked at him oddly, then shook her head. "Don't be so naive as to think they won't try something just because they're angels." She looked at her child, then closed her eyes. "You do it. I know you can." All he'd have to do is 'scan' the child with his energy to see if they are the same.

"who can do it?" Leo asked.

Marie nodded to Leo. "You can. If I do it, you won't believe me."

"Actually I can;t do some thing like that." Leo said

Marie blinked at him. "And why not? All you have to do is...well, scan her with your life force...energy stuff."

"I might be powerfully but I'm afaird that not one of my skills." Leo said.

Marie blinked at him. "But its simple. It barely requires any power..." She sighed. "I'll do it then."

Leo just never learn how to do it.

Marie placed her hand on Leo's chest, then the other gently on her baby. She closed her eyes and her power came in a purplish haze around her, almost like a mist. She took and slow breath and her power that enveloped Leo turned to blue lightning. The power that surrounded the baby girl had both purple haze and blue lightning swirling around each other. Marie's eyes were closed, so she couldn't see it. "What has happened?" She asked Leo softly.

Maire could get the door frame breaking. Dimmest hand was crashing it angryily. This isn't the answer he wanted he didn't want that child to be Leo that damn angel didn't love Marie like he did. He wanted nothing to do with the angel.

Leo looked to Marie. "Well the baby is both purple and blue."

Marie flinched at the sound of the door cracking. She looked at the baby, then at Leo. She swallowed a lump in her throat, but still couldn't speak as she stared up at Leo. Chris spoke for her. "Its yours Leo. She doesn't know how she did it, but its yours. And she wants you to name her."

Leo just blinked still holding the baby in his arms. "I don't know what to do or even what to name her."

Chris and Marie looked at each other, as if comunicating with their eyes. She nodded slightly and smiled at Leo. "When you think of the most beautiful name you can think of, what name is that?"
