Yeah, the chicken turned out okay though so it wasn't too bad. I managed to scrape off the top not burnt layer of the rice and still make a meal of it. ^^;

No, I was trying to boil it in a pot. I didn't stir because I read on a package once that you shouldn't open the lid because it cooked better if you didn't peak. I really miss my rice cooker at home. I've been staying with my fiance for a while and I'll be going home in about two weeks so I won't have to burn any more rice after that. The rice cooker I have now isn't too bad but it likes to bubble out of the hole on the top and leak onto the counter. The one I had before was less messy but stopped working after like...the third use I think. T_ T

aww :hug: I'd use the bubble over rice cooker, better to have to clean up a bit then to burn good rice D:

Well I mostly just use cheap store-brand rice anyway. It's really cheap so it's not a big deal but I hate wasting food. >.<

Do you know how to do some of the different braids or just the normal one? I've always wanted to figure out how to do those fishtail braids. I have a book that shows you how but I've never quite gotten the hang of it. T_ T

fishtail braid? never heard of it yami can do a french braid and a ponytail braid.....
