(XP I'm actually waiting for it to happen to me. I'm so clumsy that it's bound to happen sooner or later.)

Demyx frowned, knowing he was probably blowing the whole situation all out of proportion. But he couldn't help it. He hated seeing Zexion hurt... Even if it is just by a small wound. Once the wound was thoroughly cleaned, he examined it closely before going and getting a First-Aid Kit to fix it up. He returned to the kitchen moments later and dug out the things he needed to fix the small cut.

Zexion let the blonde fix him up. "I'm sorry," said Zexion as he looked at his blonde haired lover. "Sorry for making you work." He took the bandage from the blonde and then opened it as he placed it on his hand and then fixed himself up. Looking at him he smiled and said,"Honestly, I am fine. It's just a little cut."

Demyx shook his head. "You don't need to apologize. I like taking care of you." he said. He didn't add that it made him feel like he wasn't a complete failure. He knew he really shouldn't feel that way. But he couldn't help it sometimes. The blond put a smile on his face and he leaned forward to kiss Zexion lightly. "Now that you're all fixed up... Time for cake!" he exclaimed, turning and going back to the table and taking his seat before picking up his piece of cake and taking a bite out of it.

Zexion smiled at the blonde. He, too, liked taking care of his lover. He knew that something was going on with his lover, but he didn't know how the bring it up. He knew though that if it got too serious that Demyx would come and talk to him about it. Zexion accepted the kiss and then went to get his own cake which still needed to be cut. Grabbing the plate, he cut the rest of the cake, and then placed it on his plate. "I hope you like it. It looks really good." He took a bite of his own as he sat down and then a smile spread across his face. "It really is good!"

Demyx's smile grew slightly as he watched Zexion ate his piece of the cake. He took another bite of his cake and a happy sound came from the back of his throat. "It tastes delicious~" he complimented. He took the last bite of food, finishing off his piece of cake, and leaning back in his chair. The cake tasted really good, and he wouldn't have minded getting another piece. But the uncomfortable, sick feeling was starting to grow in his stomach again, so he was just going to focus on making it go away.

Zexion was glad that the blonde in front of him was liking what he was eating. "I am glad that you like it," said Zexion as he went to the fridge and got himself some milk out, pouring it into a glass. Walking back to the table he ate the rest of his cake. Glancing at the clock he saw that it still was rather early. "What do you want to do now?"

Demyx thought for a moment on what they could do together. There was still a ton of painting that needed to be done... But the blond wasn't sure how good at it the shorter Nobody would be. Well... He'll never know if he doesn't ask, right? "I was thinking of getting some more painting done for our room, if you want to help me." he offered, flashing Zexion a happy smile.

Zexion listened to the blonde talk about painting and he thought for a moment. It was true that he had never done any form of painting for anything, nor any artistic work, but he knew that if he had someone like Demyx teaching him he would do just fine. "I think that's good. That means I can start on the library. I saw some tarps in the garage, we could put those over the book cases so we don't get them covered in paint. We can also move the bookcases and the furniture to the middle of the room as well. Would you be willing to help me with that?" Zexion was getting very excited about painting, he wanted to explore and experience so many things with Demyx.

Demyx smiled happily and just barely managed to stop himself from jumping over the table to hug Zexion. He was so happy that the other was willing to paint with him. He nodded quickly and jumped up. "Yeah! That would be great!" he exclaimed. He knew that if it was just him painting, he wouldn't have bothered with the tarps. He always makes sure not to make a mess with painting. While the blond was painting their bedroom he hadn't used one and there wasn't a drop of paint anywhere that it shouldn't be. But since Zexion wanted to use them, he wouldn't complain. He grabbed hold of his shorter lover's hand and pulled on it gently. "Let's go~"

Zexion was happy that he could share one of the blonde's hobbies with him. "I am glad that we are doing this,"said Zexion as he smiled as he was taken towards the library. "I think that it will be a good color. Blue and white," thought Zexion as he went and began moving some of the furniture into the middle of the room. He handed him a tarp as he began covered some of bookshelves with the tarps so that nothing would get covered in paint.

Demyx smiled happily as he nodded and followed Zexion to the library. "I am too~" he said. The blond's mind was already racing around, trying to come up with the perfect color coordination for the room. He knew that Zexion had picked out a blue for the room... But that seemed kind of bland. White would be a good addition to it.. Maybe he could paint some clouds? That way, it'd feel like they were floating in the sky. That sounded good to him and he'd suggest it when they actually started painting. But for now, he started moving furnature once in the library. Pain shot across his stomach though when he started pushing a couch and he paused for a moment, waiting for it to pass. Once it did, he continued on like nothing happened.

Zexion continued to move more and more furniture around completely oblivious that there was something wrong with Demyx. Zexion was still just glad that he was able to share this with his lover. Once everything was covered he went to one of the paint cans and began opening it. He took a paint roller and a pan over as he poured some paint into it. He knew how to do that. Turning towards Demyx he looked at him as he smiled as he said,"So....what do I do now?" Zexion felt completely inept at what he was doing, but he knew that Demyx would be able to help him.

Demyx was glad that Zexion hadn't noticed anything wrong with him. It bought him more time to get better so he could stay out of the hospital. He put a smile on his face as he continued moving furniture, with only the minimum of pain. He thought for a moment before looking over at his shorter lover. "Well... I was thinking maybe we could paint some clouds in here and make it look like the sky." he said, hoping his idea wasn't too stupid.

Zexion looked at the paint cans that he had and nodded his head. "I think that that would be a great idea," said Zexion as he smiled at Demyx. "I love reading under the open sky, even though I couldn't do it at the organization. Xem-." Zexion suddenly closed his mouth as he thought back to what was happening at the organization. He could never go back. What was going on there, did Xemnas know that he was gone. He had to have known. He was the Superior for god's sake. He pretended to cough and clear his throat before continuing by saying,"I think that it is a great idea." He knew that he had repeated himself, but he was hoping that the blonde wouldn't catch on to it.

Demyx smiled when Zexion agreed with his idea and he got some white paint ready. But worry washed through him when he heard the beginning of Xemnas' name. Did his lover regret running away with him? Was he wishing he could go back? These were questions the blond couldn't bring himself to ask, so he pushed the worried feeling away. He had to believe that Zexion wanted to be here with him. He wouldn't know what he'd do otherwise. "Alright. Let's get started." he said, putting a smile on his face, even though he was anything but happy.

Zexion could see and hear the agitation in the blonde's voice, knowing immediately that he had said something wrong. There was no doubt about that. He had said Xemnas' name. What was his lover thinking? Was he thinking that he regretted coming here. Far from it, but he didn't know how to say that to the blonde, so he didn't say anything. He would cross that bridge if it became an issue. Zexion nodded as he took up the brush that was next to him keeping a close eye on Demyx so that he could mimic him.

Demyx worked on getting himself back in his normal, good mood, but was finding it hard to. He didn't understand it. Normally he was just so chipper and happy. So why did he feel like he wanted to curl up in a ball in some corner and cry? It wasn't like him at all! He didn't say anything else, afraid that the tone of his voice would alert Zexion that something was wrong. So he picked up his paintbrush and started outlining the clouds so he would know where to put the white and where to put the blue.

Zexion could immediately feel it in the air. The fact that his lover was not entirely happy. "I wonder if he is still angry about me mentioning Xemnas," thought Zexion as he watched as Demyx began doing the outlines for the clouds. He began painting with blue on the other side of the room with his back turned to the blonde. He didn't know if he could face Demyx right now with talking to him.

Demyx was silent for a moment before turning to look at Zexion. He frowned lightly for a moment before going over to the shorter Nobody. "Could you not start painting until I have all the outlines done?" he asked, glad that his tone was even. He hoped it didn't sound like he was being rude, because he wasn't. He just wanted this room to be perfect for his lover so that Zexion wouldn't want to leave him.

((I was wondering how you would react to me doing that. I don't know a lot about painting, but I knew that what my character was doing was wrong. haha))

Zexion stopped painting when he saw the blonde approach him, asking him to stop. Nodding his head he went to go and put the paintbrush back into the paint container. "No problem," said Zexion as he looked at him. Heading over to one of the bookshelves he went and skimmed his hand over some of the spines of the books as he grabbed one off of the shelf and began reading it.

((XP Good thing Demyx noticed. He would have had to paint that whole side white just to get it right.))

Demyx couldn't help but feel that he was doing something wrong. Was Zexion happy with him? How could he tell? The blond knew that he couldn't just straight out ask him. That might make him seem desperate. He'd just have to think of a way to get the other Nobody to admit it. Demyx watched Zexion for another moment before turning to continue his outlining. If he really focused, he'd be able to get it done quickly so that they could finish up the room.

Zexion held the book in front of him as he moved around as he settled into the seat. Opening the book he was immediately thrown into the world of the book. He found himself smiling as he continued to read. He loved reading books, any kinds of books. Glancing up at Demyx, periodically, he saw that the other male was painting the outlines of the clouds.

A small smile formed on Demyx's face as he got more into the painting. Sure, it was just outlining. But still. He was having artistic freedom, which was one thing he loved. The blond paused though in mid-stroke, a sick, uncomfortable feeling growing in his stomach. 'Not again..' he thought, carefully setting the paintbrush down. He shot a glance over at Zexion, seeing that he was still reading, and headed out of the room, fully intend on going to the bathroom to throw up, yet again.

Though Zexion was reading and was engrossed completely in the book he knew about his surroundings as well. He saw the blonde, from the corner of his eye, go racing out of the room, and somewhere down the hallway. He heard the door slamming immediately knowing that it was the bathroom door. Concern fell across his features as he put the book down that he was reading and stayed by the door near the hallway. He wanted to approach the blonde, but didn't really know how to go about it.

Demyx frowned as he flushed the toliet. He really hated throwing up all the delicious food Zexion took the time to make for him. And hopefully the shorter Nobody didn't notice the blond run from the room. Or, if he had, he just thought he had to go to the bathroom. Demyx rinsed his face off with cold water and ran a toothbrush quickly through his mouth before heading back to the library. He had been hoping to see Zexion still reading his book, but was surprised to see him by the door. "Everything okay?" he asked, concerned.
