Once Zexion was outside he let out a sigh. How the hell was he going to accomplish something like this?! He didn't even know where to start. Thinking about it logically though he decided that he would go to where a lot of people gathered. He could ask around there, and tell people that he was new to the town, which he was, so he didn't know where there were a lot of things. Running to the sand lot he began asking around where he could possibly find a doctor who could visit them at home.

It didn't take long for Demyx to get completely immersed in his painting. A small smile formed on his face as he focused on making the walls look like the perfect sunset scene. His stomach twisted uncomfortably on more than one occasion, but he pushed the feelings down each and every time. He didn't want to stop to go to the bathroom. He knew that if he did, he wouldn't be as into the painting as he was before. But after working on it nonstop for such a long time made the blond start to grow drowsy. He yawned and put the paint up, deciding to take a quick nap before he got started again. Maybe he'd be able to get most of the room done tonight. Since he didn't want to sleep in this room because of all the paint fumes, he went downstairs in the living room, dragging his blanket behind him and his pillow in his arms. He made a makeshift bed on the couch before laying down. The moment his eyes were closed, he was out like a light.

Zexion continued to walk around the Sand Lot looking for someone that could possibly help him in finding a doctor. He looked around finding a "potion store" as he walked into it. Walking into the potion store he looked around trying to find someone that could help him. "Excuse me," said Zexion as he walked around the store looking at all of the various things. "I was wondering if someone could help me." There was a curtain behind the table with the register on it. There was a voice coming from behind it and then a guy with red hair and blue eyes came walking out."Oh a customer,"said the man as he approached Zexion. Zexion swallowed down his apprehension as he walked towards the man. "I am rather new to this city as is my friend. I was looking for a doctor that could come to the house and look at him. Can you do that?"

The man looked at him and nodded his head. This was rather easy."I do have a request though, do you know anything about potions and antidotes?"Zexion looked at the red head and smiled. He knew a lot about potions and antidotes. He trained under Vexen when he was a Somebody and when he was a Nobody as well. "I do," said Zexion as he looked at the man."Then as compensation can you work at the store?"Zexion's eyes shone when he smiled at the other man. "Sure," he said. This was working out perfectly. He had a job, and he found a doctor, all in one place.

Demyx's nap was rather uneasy. He kept drifting off, but startling awake a few moments later. He didn't even have the chance to sit up and just forget about it before he drifted off again. after that happening about 10 times, he finally managed to force his body up. He groaned and rubbed the sleep from his eyes as he stood and headed into the kitchen. He wanted to sleep so badly, but he didn't know why he was so restless.

So he poured himself a glass of milk like he'd done with Zexion last night. He heated it up in the microwave and waited rather impatiently for it to get up. Once the timer went off, the blond eagerly grabbed it out of the microwave and drank it quickly, ignoring the fact that it was kind of hot. He smiled lightly as the warmth of it helped make him drowsy. He headed back into the living room and grabbed his blanket off the couch. He figured the bedroom had ventilated enough so that he could go to sleep in there.

But once he reached the top of the stairs, his stomach twisted painfully and he dropped his blanket in the hall and bolted to the bathroom. He crouched down in front of the toilet just in time to throw up.This time actually hurt his stomach though. Demyx whined quietly to himself when he was done and he slowly rose to his feet. He brushed his teeth with shaky hands and stumbled out into the hall. He was so tired that he didn't think he was going to make it to the room. So he grabbed the blanket from the floor and curled up in a ball on the floor, which was actually more comfortable than one might think.

Zexion explained for a little bit about what he knew how to do, and the other man nodded his head in acknowledgement."You seem to be rather knowledgeable," said the red haired man. "Thank you," replied Zexion. "So will you be able to come out to the house today?" The man nodded and then he continued by saying,"Well I am going to head on home and tell him so we can get ready. You have our address alright right?" The man nodded again as Zexion went towards the door and out into the sunlight.

Walking back towards the house he walked into the house and called out Demyx's name. Not getting a response he began running around the house. First he went around the 1st floor, not finding Demyx, and then he went to the second floor and found Demyx lying on the floor covered in a blanket. Running up to him Zexion shook him as he said,"Demyx, are you alright?"

Demyx could faintly hear the sound of someone running around in the house, but it wasn't enough to register in his mind to actually wake him up. It wasn't until he was shaken and heard the sound of his lover's voice did he finally force his eyes open. He blinked twice to wake himself up and he sat up slowly and looked around. 'Why am I in the hallway?...' he thought before his attention landed on Zexion. "I'm fine. Why do you ask?"

Zexion let out a sigh of relief. He was glad that there was nothing wrong with his lover. "Why? You were in the hallway passed out. Did you fall or something? Or did you just fall asleep out here?" Shaking his head as he looked at the blonde. "Silly goose, we need to get you ready to be seen by the doctor. He said that he would come here in a few hours or so." He would tell the blonde about his job after they figured out what was wrong with his lover.

Demyx smiled lightly and patted Zexion on the head, happy that his lover was so concerned about him. "I just fell asleep." he said, stretching his arms out. "I was too tired to make it to bed." The smile on the blond's face faltered though at the mention of the doctor. He really didn't want to see anyone, sure that whatever he had would just pass on its own. But if it would make Zexion happy, then he would endure it. "What exactly do I have to do to get ready?"

Zexion looked at the blonde as concern still painted his features, but he was glad that the goof ball had just fallen asleep before he had gotten to the bed. He was glad that the blonde didn't collapse or anything. Zexion chewed his lip deep in thought. "I am not sure honestly," said Zexion as he looked at Demyx. "I guess do whatever you did before Vexen gave you a check up." He paused as he looked at Demyx. "You did go to his annual checkups right?"

Demyx was silent for a moment. He really didn't like going to Vexen's checkups and he stalled going for as long as he could. But Xigbar always dragged him there, always concerned about his health. So, he really didn't do anything to prepare himself. But he didn't want to admit that to Zexion.. But he really didn't know what he should do. "Of course I went... I just went unwillingly and Xigbar always dragged me." the blond admitted, figuring it was best to just go with the truth. He didn't want to lie to his lover anymore.

Zexion nodded when he heard this as he broke out into a smile. "Alright," said Zexion. [B]"I believe you. He could picture the other male dragging Demyx down the halls towards Vexen's room where the infirmary was. It would have been a sight to behold indeed.

Demyx smiled lightly at the sight of Zexion's smile. He really did love to see the other happy. He leaned forward to kiss his lover quickly before he stood up. He picked the blanket up off the floor before heading towards their bedroom. "I'm gonna go make the bed before the doctor gets here." he said. Whoever this doctor was, there really was no need for him to go up to their room, but he still felt like he should make it. After all, it was the blond's fault that it was a mess.

Zexion smiled into the kiss that was planted on him. He watched as the other male went into the bedroom as he went to go and make the bed there. He decided that he would go downstairs and see if there was anything that he could downstairs to make the place anymore presentable. As he looked around he decided that he would wash some of the dishes and clean the kitchen table. There was a knock on the door and Zexion went to go and answer it. It was the man from the potions and antidote store, "Demyx,"said Zexion. "The doctor is here now can you come down the stairs and meet him?"

After making the bed, Demyx was so tempted to just lay down and go to sleep. He knew better though and found small the t hings he could do to keep busy while waiting for the doctor. When the blond heard that the doctor had arrived, he froze. It took him about ten seconds before he was able to move his body. He mentally slapped himself for being so childish as he forced himself to step down the stairs. He kept his face blank of any emotion that would have normally showed itself. Demyx didn't look at the doctor as he went to stand before the doctor. "Hello." he greeted politely. "It's very nice to meet you."

Zexion looked at the blonde that was coming down the stairs and had to turn his head as he stifled a laugh. He looked so small and frail, and he was shaking like a leaf. The doctor took one look at the blonde and smiled as well."So is this the patient?"Zexion nodded as he said,"Yes, this is the patient. Where would you like to go to do the examination?" The doctor thought for a moment and then said,"I want to go somewhere where there is a lot of light." Zexion thought for a moment as he looked at Demyx and said,"Do you know where we could go for that, Demyx?"

Demyx could see Zexion stifling laughter and a pout formed on his face. He didn't really see what was so funny, but at least he somehow made the shorter male laugh. The blond kept his attention directed away from the doctor though as he averted his attention to his lover. "Well... The library has lots of light.. But we're painting in there, so it wouldn't be good.." he said, his voice thoughtful. "So... The kitchen has lots of light, so we can do it in there."

The doctor watched as the two of them talk as he smiled."Then we will go to the kitchen then,"said the doctor as he looked at Zexion. "I can lead the way to the kitchen," replied Zexion. "Follow me please." The doctor nodded and began following Zexion into the kitchen. "That means you too, Demyx." He knew that the blonde might try to get out of this one so he had to make sure that he wasn't going to run.

Demyx was just about to turn and run when Zexion and the doctor's backs were turned, but he froze. Of course the shorter Nobody knew what he was planning. The blond sighed and ran a hand through his hair and followed the two very unwillingly into the kitchen. So much for his escape plan. Once in the kitchen, he took a seat at the table and turned his attention to the doctor. "So.. What exactly are you going to do?" he asked, leaning back in his seat.

The doctor looked at him as he said,"Well from what was explained to me, by your friend, you are having episodes of when you get sick. You also seem to be more tired than usual. The flu is indeed going around the neighborhood, but to know for sure what you have I am going to need to take a sample of your blood."Zexion bit his lip knowing that that was the last thing that the blonde wanted to hear. He knew that Demyx utterly hated needles, heck he hated them as well, but he knew that the blonde was unusually scared of them. "Dems," said Zexion as he looked at his lover. "I'm sorry."

Demyx was fine with the first part of what the doctor told him. He had heard that there was the flu going around earlier from walking with Zexion. But the part about needles made him go cold. Why did it have to be needles? The blond had always been resistant whenever Vexen had to draw blood from him or inject him with something. He was silent for a long moment, his gaze on the ground before he lifted his gaze to look at Zexion. "You don't need to apologize.. It's not your fault." he said. He sighed in defeat, knowing that this was necessary. He turned his attention to the doctor unwillingly. "Just do it quickly."

The doctor looked at him as he nodded. Digging around his bag he brought out a turnakit and some needles and a jar that would soon be filled with Demyx's blood."It's just going to sting a little,"said the doctor as he began feeling around for a vein. Finding one he took an alcohol swab and dabbed the area gently. Sliding the needle into the vein the tube that led to the jar was soon being filled. Zexion came over to Demyx and took Demyx's face in his hands as he turned the blonde to look at him. He didn't like blood either.

An uncomfortable feeling grew in Demyx's stomach as he watched the doctor digging in his bag. The feeling grew when the blond caught sight of the needle and he quickly dropped his gaze to the ground. He bit down hard to prepare himself for the needle actually entering his arm. He winced as the needle pierced his arm and it took everything he had not to jump away from the doctor. Demyx was relieved when Zexion had come over to him. It was definitely a distraction from the fact that there was blood leaving his body and the blond put a small smile on his face.

Zexion continued to look into the blonde's eyes. Glancing over at the jar he could see that it was almost full. "It's almost done, love," whispered Zexion to Demyx as he leaned his head on Demyx's. "Don't worry I will make something good for dinner tonight. I promise." The doctor leaned over as he checked to make sure that Demyx was doing alright. Glancing at the jar he saw that it was full."Alright we are done. There is going to be a tiny pinch when I take the needle out,"said the doctor. He took the needle out and then placed a band-aid on the needle wound.

Demyx could actually feel the the blood leave his body, so it just made the whole experience even worse. But what Zexion said about making something good for dinner made it worth it and he smiled lightly. Even though he was distracted, he still felt the needle come out and he flinched before he turned to look at the doctor. "How long does it take before we get the results from my blood?" the blond asked, being sure not to look at the red liquid that had just left his body.

The doctor looked at him and said,"Well it depends on what we find. Average though it will take about 2 days."The doctor wrapped the needle and syringe in a plastic bag and then put that one in a plastic bag as well before putting it back into his bag. He would dispose of it later. He then took the jar of blood and everything else into his bag as well."Before I forget. Zexion, you start tomorrow. I will be back in 2 days though with the results,"said the doctor. Zexion looked at him and nodded as he walked the doctor to the door, and opened the door. Once he was out of the house, he closed the front door, and then looked at the blonde and said,"What do you want to eat?"
