Zexion smiled as he got the chicken ready to be cut and added into the vegetables that Demyx was cutting. He thought for a moment when he heard the other ask if there was anything that he could do. "I guess you could set the table once you are done cutting the vegetables, and wash your hands too." He didn't really know what to tell the other. He imagined that the rest of the time that the doctor/boss would be here in their house that it would be a rather tense moment. He wanted to spend as much time with the blonde as he could. Glancing over at the blonde to see how he was doing he was glad that the other was being more attentive when he was cutting the vegetables. He remembered the last time that he had used the knife. The other ended up cutting himself, and that was something that he didn't want to repeat, and he figured that the blonde didn't want to either.

Demyx smiled lightly and nodded. He bit his lip in concentration as he finished cutting the last of the vegetables, extremely pleased that he managed to get it all done without cutting himself. He set the cut veggies in a bowl before going over to the sink to wash his hands. He fought of another urge to have a little fun with the water.. There would be plenty of time for that later. He got some plates and silverware out and set them at the table, making sure that it look presentable. He wasn't sure if Zexion's boss would care or not about if it was sloppy or not, but he knew that he wanted to make a good impression. He got some glasses down before taking a seat at the table. "All done~"

Zexion smiled as he saw Demyx concentrate on the cutting of the vegetables. The other was really good at a lot of things if he put his mind to it. He took some of the vegetables and added it to the chicken and sauce mixture as he let it cook down a little. He then added the rest of them and stirred the pot a few times. "Almost done,"said Zexion as he began to boil the water for the noodles. Glancing out the window he could see that the sun was beginning to get a redder glow, meaning that it was getting later in the day. It was perpetual twilight, but that didn't mean that they didn't have morning or night the variations were just a little more subtle. The smell permeated throughout the house and he smiled. He always loved cooking this dish. The last time he had made this was-. Zexion suddenly got very sad as he thought about when the last time he had made this particular dish. It was at the Castle that Never Was. He missed the other's. Letting out a sigh he wondered how the other Organization members were doing.

Demyx smiled lightly, the smell of the food making his stomach growl quietly. He set a hand on his stomach gently, mentally telling it to be quiet. It would get food soon enough... That didn't make him any less hungry. The blond looked around the room, trying to find something else he could do to help out, but didn't really see anything. He held in a sigh, wanting to be able to help Zexion, but not knowing what else to do. Not that it matter. After all, the food was almost done. Demyx glanced over at the other, frowning slightly when he heard the sigh. He went over and wrapped his arms around his shorter lover gently, being sure not to mess him up with what he was doing. "You okay?" he asked, concerned.

Zexion froze when he felt the other's arms around around his body. He then relaxed in the other's arms as he let out another sigh, this time this one in pure contentment. Pulling away from the other to check the sauce and the chicken he smiled over his shoulder as he said,"Of course I am. You worry too much." He hoped that the other would believe his words. The last thing that he wanted was for the other to know that he wanted to go back to the Castle, even if it was only to visit. When he had thought about it initially he thought that he was out of his mind since he knew that Xemnas would still be there. He then figured that he would be able stay hidden enough to pass along a message to the other's telling them where he was. "I just miss people." He hadn't meant that last part to come out since he didn't want the other to worry about him, or think that he wasn't happy staying here alone with Demyx.

Demyx frowned slightly when he felt Zexion freeze. That was odd... He pushed the thought from his mind as the shorter Nobody relaxed. The blond tilted his head curiously when he heard what was said. He knew Zexion was upset about something, so why didn't he want to tell him what it was? Wait... What if he was mad at him! That must be it! That's why he froze. Demyx must have done something wrong and he quickly scanned his brain, trying to figure out what it was. He was close to having a mental panic attack when he heard the next thing and he visibly relaxed. So he hadn't done something wrong. That was good. Demyx leaned against the counter and looked at his lover curiously. "Well... Why don't we go visit sometime?" he asked, hoping he could somehow cheer Zexion up.

Zexion listened to what the other said as he stirred the sauce and chicken mixture a few times so it wouldn't burn on the bottom as he looked towards the other. He knew that Demyx was just saying that to make him feel happier. Zexion knew that there would be no way that he would jeopardize what the two of them had just go visit some mere friends. Then again the other had been willing, and did, leave with him when the two of them escaped. Maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to visit the other members to at least tell them that everything was alright. Not to mention they could tell the people that they trusted where they were standing, and they could come and visit them meaning that it wouldn't be the other way. He was about to agree when he heard the sound of the doorbell. Glancing at the clock he couldn't believe that it had gotten so late in the afternoon already. "Demyx," said Zexion as he smiled at the other. "Could you get the door? I need to stay here in the kitchen."

Demyx nodded, smiling lightly as he headed towards the door. He paused in the living room for a moment as a wave of nausea passed through him and he clutched his stomach tightly. He really didn't want to throw up right now, so he pushed the sick feeling down and continued towards the door. But knowing that the doctor was on the other side, ready to tell him what was wrong with him, just made the sick feeling worse. Okay... The blond was going to let the doctor in, then just slip into the bathroom for a quick moment if he was still feeling sick in a few minutes. The sick feeling came and went randomly, so he hoped it would go quickly this time. Demyx kept the smile on his face though as he opened the door, taking a step back to let whoever it was in.

Zexion strained his ears to hear the door. He assumed that it was his boss, the doctor. The door opened as Demyx let the other male in. The doctor looked at Demyx and smiled at the other as he took the other male in with his eyes. There was something about the blonde male in front of him. He couldn't quite place it, and besides there was no way that that was possible right? However, he knew what his test results said to him."Thank you," said the doctor as he walked into the house."Something smells rather delicious." Zexion heard the other male. "Hey boss," he called from the kitchen. "I am making chicken parmigiana. I hope you are hungry."

Demyx kept a smile on his face as he saw the doctor come into the house. He really hoped that the other man came bearing good news. The blond really didn't like the thought of something wrong with him... Speaking of which, the sick feeling was back, so he slipped quietly to the bathroom, hoping he wasn't going to throw up. He bent over the toliet, ready, but thankfully nothing happened. Looks like the feeling was just in passing. Demyx breathed a sigh of relief before heading back to the kitchen, wondering if the food was ready. He was starting to get really hungry.

Zexion and the other male were downstairs in the kitchen still conversing about what would be happening in the coming days and weeks ahead. They were getting more shipments in since there was a rather nasty cold going around, and they were also doing vaccinations as well, to which he suggested that Zexion and Demyx get one as well. Zexion winced at this. He knew how the blonde hated needles, but he assumed if he explained why it would be important to get the shot that Demyx would do it to appease him. "Alright," said Zexion as he looked around for his blonde lover. Where had the other one gotten to. As if on cue the blonde came into the kitchen. The food was done and here was the blonde. "You have really good timing, love," said Zexion. "Are you sure you don't have ESP?"

Demyx heard the last part of Zexion and the doctor's conversation, but most of it just went over his head. He didn't know much about medicine, except that he didn't like it. The blond didn't like the taste and he didn't like how some of it was supposed to get inside the body. He tended to avoid taking it whenever possible, even when he's sick. Demyx pushed the thoughts of medicine out of his head as he smiled brightly at his lover and shrugged. "I dunno. Maybe." he said, not completely sure what ESP even meant. It would have to be something he would look up later... Maybe tomorrow, if he remembered. "Let's eat!" he exclaimed, excitedly. He was more than ready to get some food in his stomach.

((Of course. I can understand how crazy it can get at the end of a school years, especially if you are looking at colleges as well)).

Zexion smiled at the puzzled look that the other male gave him. Even when the other was clueless he was just to darn cute. He heard the other exclaim loudly that they should eat, and he and his boss found there way to the table as well. As he nestled into his chair, his boss to his right, and Demyx across from him. "Alright," said Zexion as he glanced at the food on the table. He, too, was very hungry. "Give me your plate and I can serve us."

((Yeah. But I do promise to get to answering more. And I'll be sure to try to get to our other rps sometime by the end of this week or over the weekend.))

Demyx smiled lightly when Zexion and the doctor sat down. He had to force his body to stay still when all he wanted to do was bounce in his seat in excitement. His lover was an amazing cook and the blonde always looked forward to every meal that the shorter male cooked. He happily held his plate out, hoping he didn't seem to eager. "Here you go~" But the food smelled so delicious and it was making his mouth water. His stomach growled quietly and he hoped no-one heard it. That would have been awkward...

Zexion took his blonde haired lovers plate as he smiled and then hid it as he turned his head towards the serving platters of food. The other male was just too funny. He knew that the other loved his cooking, he made a habit of telling him every chance that he got and then some. So it was no wonder that the other looked like he was going to launch himself across the table and at the food. Piling it high with food he then handed it back to the other as he took his boss' plate next.

Demyx grinned when he caught sight of Zexion's smile. He loved nothing more than to make his lover happy. It was one of the reasons why he acted the way he did. The other reason was because it was fun and it how it was just who he was. He wouldn't feel right if he ever had to be serious for a long period of time. He tried once, and only lasted about 20 minutes before cracking up laughing. In his defense though, Xigbar had spent the entire time trying to make him laugh, so it was no wonder why he didn't last. "Thank you~" he said, taking hold of his plate. He set it in front of him and pick up his fork. He paused though, waiting for everyone at the table to have something to eat first. Then he could dig in.

Zexion smiled as he piled his own plate high with delicious food as he glanced at the other male. He was eyeing his food as if he wanted to inhale it all at once, but he had to hand it the other, he had reserve. Zexion knew that it would be hard for Demyx to wait so he began eating himself once he saw his boss begin to eat. Cutting himself some chicken, he then moved it around his plate a little bit to get some sauce on it before he popped it into his mouth relishing the taste of the food that the two of them had made. He figured that they would talk about Demyx's medical results after they were done eating.

Demyx smiled lightly when he saw the other two men starting to eat. He took a bite, no longer feeling guilty about wanting to start. Since they had a guest, he hadn't wanted to start eating until the doctor did. After all, he wasn't rude. The blond forced himself to eat at a reasonable pace though and not practically inhale the food like he wanted to. Well.... Maybe it wouldn't matter if he choked.... A doctor was sitting right there.... No. It'd probably be best to avoid it. As he ate, Demyx kept shooting the doctor glances, a small bite of worry entering his mind. Was his test results good or bad? He didn't really want to wait to find out, but if the news was bad, he wanted to wait until he was done eating so he wouldn't ruin his appetite.

Zexion could tell that the other male was trying to eat slowly, but he also knew that the other must have been hungry as well. It must have been torturous for the other to have to wait before his boss and himself began to eat. The meal went by as quickly as it had started, and soon they were all finished with the main course. He hadn't thought about getting anything for dessert, and he hadn't made anything in a long while. "If you would excuse me," said Zexion as he got up to go back to the fridge. Opening the freezer, he rummaged around until he found some icecream bars that he had bought as a spur of the moment thing. Bringing over three he handed the doctor one, and then held one out to Demyx.

Each and every bite that Demyx ate was absolutely delicious. Not that he expected anything otherwise. Zexion was an amazing cook and everything always tasted good. The blond savored every bite, a little more than glad with the way his stomach stayed settled throughout the meal. It got a bit iffy when the shorter Nobody went to get desert. He smiled at his lover while accepting and taking a bite of the ice cream. The cold soothed his stomach somewhat, for which he was grateful. He ate the bar faster than the meal and stood up to gather the dirty dishes. Since he didn't cook, it only seemed right that he cleaned up.

Zexion smiled as he saw the happy look spread on the other's features. Taking a bite of his own ice cream sandwich, he let his eyes slide closed as he relished the taste of it. He was never a sweet tooth, but sometimes he did like it. He eyed the other male as he nibbled his lip a little. It was a nagging thing in the back of his head that was making him wonder why the other male was being so secretive about being sick. He could tell that the other male wasn't feeling well, but he was also doing a miraculous job of keeping it under wraps. He continued to watch the other male as the other took the dishes towards the sink. He wanted to help the other, but he also knew that Demyx, while wanting the help, wanted to do something to show his appreciation for the food that he had made. So Zexion did nothing but continue to sit there. Once the other was done he they would talk together with his Boss about Demyx's test results.

Demyx took all the dirty dishes to the sink once everyone was completely finished eating. He rinsed them off later before setting them to the side, planning on giving them all a more thorough cleaning later. The blond will admit, he was more than a little nervous about the upcoming test results. Those nerves was causing him to move slowly, stalling for some time to get his stomach settled back down. Once he was sure he was fine, he went back to the table, taking his seat quietly. Demyx took a quick look around to see if there was any other way he could stall, but saw none. It looked like there was no more avoiding this. "Alright doctor. What'd the tests say?" he asked. He saw no point in beating around the bush. It was best for all to just get straight to the point. Besides, the blond was never one for sitting through a long explanation of something.

To say that the blonde was overly eager to hear about his medical results was an understatement. The blonde was practically jumping out of his skin to hear it."Well,"began the doctor. I don't know how to go about saying this."Zexion came down to sit next to Demyx as he took the other's hand in his own. Squeezing it, he also leaned his head on the other's shoulder. Clearing his throat the doctor continued as he said," Well, your levels of estrogen are rather high. You're...well you're pregnant."At this time the doctor caught himself as he turned away from the other male. Glancing at the two of them, he then said," I know this might come as a shock. Do you have any questions for me?"He knew that they probably did, but he also wanted the two to be able to digest what he had just said.

A nervous feeling twisted in Demyx's gut when the doctor started speaking. What if the news was bad? What if he was dying! That would be absolutely horrible! The anxious feeling disappeared some when Zexion took a seat next to him and the blond relaxed minutely. When he heard what the problem was, his entire body seemed to go cold. Pregnant? There was no way he could be pregnant. The main reason being the fact that he was a guy and didn't have the right parts. He took a moment to get his thoughts in order before taking a deep breath. "Estrogen? Isn't that only in girls?" he asked, leaning forward. "How is it possible for me to be pregnant?"

Zexion just stared at his boss. There had to be some mistake. Demyx was male, and male's didn't get pregnant. Sure, there were probably rare cases, but his boss had to be wrong. Leaning back in his chair, he let his eyes slide closed in quiet contemplation. What if it was true that Demyx was pregnant. That would explain all of the odd things that had been happening. The moodiness, the odd eating habits, and even the ways he had become violently sick. Demyx thought that Zexion hadn't noticed, but as his lover he had. He knew everything about the other male, well almost everything. "Well," The doctor looked hard at the two of them as he put his hands together and said," I would not joke about something like this. He is indeed pregnant. Though, if you have your doubts I can always run it again."Zexion bit his lip a little bit. "I believe you, but I would like a second opinion. I do believe that we will be able to provide for a child, but I don't know if we should be getting all of the necessary items until we are 100%." What do you think Demyx?"
