When I'm older and have a place of my own, I want to have either a Dalmation, a Greyhound or a Ridgeback as a pet. Right now our family dog is a blue tic-labrador mix and his name is Blue.

I'm just wondering, what kind of dogs do you like/would like to have. What breed of dogs do you have now? Or do you even like dogs?

i like dogs but i have 3 cats. i would like to have a half wolf, half siberian husky. my mom has a golden lab named sarah and one other breed of small dog that i don't know the name of. my sister has a black lab named bo.

The only breed of dog I like is the Maltese. They're so cute and cuddley and adorable~ But besides that, I hate dogs.

I have a pomeranian dog. ( I don't think that is quite spelt right) I don't really like dogs that much however. I prefer cats but i can put up with little dogs. I just don't like big dogs. I'm sort of scared of them. XD

i have a 13 year old Pomerainian named Sadie and a 7 month old Golden Retriver/Cocker spaniel mix named Layci. For the most part i love all dogs and when im older i hope to have a Australian Shepherd or beagle or even a Mutt. I dont really care :)

I've always favored Chinese Crested, Pit Bull, and Bichon Frise breeds. They're smart, adorable, and make amazing pets. Even though they take more time to care for than most dogs. We have a golden retriever right now, Maggie, but she's a doof. She's never figured out glass doors, and she has no sense of awareness for whats around her. Definitely not the wonder-brain dog we thought a retriever would be, but we love her anyway.

I've only ever had one dog, a German shepherd/rottweiler/husky mix. My favourite breeds are cane corsos and pulis (or as I call them, the Bob Marley dogs :P), but if I ever get another dog (and have a choice in breeds, which isn't likely as it will be rescued) it will likely be a pit bull. They're a little thickheaded, but they're so sweet and loving and fun to hug and they're just so goofy-looking that you can't help but love them.

I love Rottweilers so once I have my own place, I'm getting a few of those. Right now I have a Golden Retriever that I rescued two months ago.

Great dane <3 It's the dog I grew up with and I love them. Unfortunately my fiance is allergic and Danes aren't very good for that, we'll probably end up with some small hypo-allergetic dog. (Small dogs make me nervous honestly >.<)

My favorite is a long-haired miniature doxen/dachshund.

Golden Retriever is my favourite breed of dog. Very friendly, very full of life. Also cuddly.

I have a Chinese crested who is naked and a Yorkshire terrier/Maltese/something mix. She's just about the hairiest dog ever.

Personally, I love hairless dogs. I just think they are so cute! I want either another Chinese crested or an American hairless terrier. I also really want a Great Dane just because they have awesome personalities. I've always wanted a pit bull too but always had the little dogs and pits tend to be mouthy when they play.

I don't like small dogs. I like medium sized dogs... like huskies.

And guess what I have? A husky. :D We got her recently, and she is AMAZINGLY beautiful. She's a long haired husky, so when her hair grows out, she looks like a big fluffy teddy bear. But we live in a very hot climate so we have to keep her shaved (it's a shame). Her eyes are beautiful... one is completely blue, and the other is half blue on one side and half brown on the other.

HOWEVER, there's a big personality change from regular dogs, to huskies. Huskies are very free-spirited. They want to run, and they want to run constantly, and they don't care at all about any sort of "home base". If a husky escapes (and they're the Houdini of the dog world), the husky most likely won't come back.

That said, we trained her to a shock collar. She has a specific boundary, and if she crosses that, she gets shocked. She's really good with the boundaries now.

Even though she's a big responsibility, she's an amazing dog. She's so beautiful, and she's fun to play with. When she doesn't run and exercise, she's a lazy log of a dog, though. Haha. She'll lay in people's paths, and make you have to walk over her.

Oh, and her name is Niyah.

Sorry for the wall of text, but I had a lot to say about huskies. ^^;

I lUV HUSKIEs N LABS. I HAVE A LAB 6 MONTHS OLD WHOS SUPER CUTE. names Sasha n yeah hes a dude. i had a huskie named clover. i prefer bigger dogs like the kind that you can hold onna leash n have them pull you on your skate board. not like the lil pigies i have that are chiwawa and dushound mixed. ii admit the little shaking puppies are cute n energetic but their so small. i lost one inside the couch once. haha

I'm very picky about which dogs I would want or personally like. I love dogs in general, though I do not have the patience for little dogs. Currently, I own a German Shepherd mix, a chihuahua(ick), and a lab/pit mix. My absolute favourite dog is the Doberman Pinscher. I adore those dogs. They're gorgeous, they don't shed and Dobies are so very smart. They're just stunning dogs and I love how gentle they can be and at the same time, display such impressive amounts of strength. >< I want my own Doberman one day, which I'll name Cervantes. I prefer the black/rust colour over red/rust. I also love Weimaraners, Rottweilers, Great Danes, Hungarian Visslas(I might've spelled that wrong), and Mastiffs. As you can see, I adore big dogs.

nice i like German Shepards too. something about big dogs lol. littles ones r a little scary like when they pop outta no where.

German Shepherds are amazing. <3 My grandpa used to breed them professionally- they had 64 at one time. Almost all of them were trained by the police.

When I was a little kid my dad used to have his little Jack Russell called Baxter. He was the sweetest dog ever, not the sharpest crayon in the box, but a really good natured dog and well behaved. He died the year before my dad did, and I have to say, losing Baxter like that, although expected since he was coming up fifteen, still came as a shock to me.

I don't have any dogs now, one day in the future I'd love to get another dog, not a Jack Russell though, Baxter was allready the greatest Jack Russell out there. Perhaps a Beagle or a Springer Spaniel though. A nice small dog, I was never overly keen on the big ones. They take up too much space and when they jump they just generally make me uneasy.

I have a dachshund, or maybe better known as a sausagedog. I'ts the most retarted dog you'll ever meet!

I love Samoyeds, huskies, Collies, Boxers, German Shepherds, Australian Shepherds, Boston Terriers, English bulldogs, French bulldogs... oh geeze, the list goes on and on and on. I'm serious! It's easier to list the dogs I don't like! ^.^'

Right now we have a Boston Terrier (Taboo)(10), a White Boxer (Blizzard)(2), and a Bull Mastiff (Bella)(5), all females. They're the cutest girls ever. We got Blizzard back in the spring, (her family was moving and their new place didn't allow pets), and Bella we got in the summer from a friend of my families (she just had a baby at the time, and couldn't take proper care of such a big dog), and we've had Taboo since she was a puppy ^.^.

Even though their ages are so different, as well as breed and personality (Taboo- protective and high-strung) (Bella- bull-dozer for loves) (Blizzard- peace keeper and gentle) they all took to each other easily and act like sisters.

LMAO thats funnie. i have a dushound too. and her babies r mixed with chiwawas but one came out long hair. omg she looks like a trow pillow.

Right now I own a Mix Breed her name is Pippi she is 5 years old, my family owns 2 Sheltie's one female her name is Precious how is 3 years old and we have a male his name is Levi.

My Favorite breeds would have to be Pomeranian,Miniature Siberian Husky.

Yea. The ones that weren't trained by the police were showed in a dog show. And then there were like 3 family dogs. My grandfather's dogs would patrol the house at night, silently. xD One morning after a break-in, the maids found blood on the wall and it didn't belong to the dogs.
