(You're gonna have to play the dad too, cause though I think that was a wonderful idea, I dunno why he'd call her.... XD)

Mike didn't say much. Just stood there, holding Ace. It was all he had in him not to drop her because he was beginning to feel weak himself. He knew it was probably taking Mason a whole lot to walk out of there and not beat him up. But he was glad he wasn't going to start a fight. However, he found it fishy that Mason and Selena were being as close as they were, when Mason obviously had something for Michelle. How fast could someone move on? Especially if Michelle was dying as they stood there. It was getting harder for him not to say anything, and hold Ace up, but he made sure he kept his mouth shut in a grim line and he didn't quiver while holding Ace.

Michelle heard a voice in her head, which was pounding with pain. Something went into her mouth and slowly the pain was decreasing. It took all she had in her just to swallow, she was in that bad of shape. It was bad. Finally it was trailing in her body and she felt better already. Though it healed her, it didn't heal her completely. But enough to get her heart back in a slow steady pace. Her eyes opened up slowly. She saw an unfamiliar girl infront of her. Her throat was dry and she knew she couldn't talk, but that was a small price to pay. She wanted to look around but she felt weak.

Mandy smiled and looked at the girl "good your awake i think your friends will be so happy to see your hold on a second i will get them." She left the room and looked at the girls friends a smile on her face "she is awake now you can go in now." She looked at mason and then to mike and the girls "you might have to talk to her softly because her head is pounding mine is to now that i was in her mind i guess you will have some questions so i will stay here while you all have your reunion." She giggled she hadnt giggled in so long it felt strange but good and well deserved, she sat down on a small seat and watched as they left for the girls room and just picked up her phone and called her teacher "um im going to stay so you can go home i guess i will walk or i will get one of the people here to drive me home so dont worry."

Aysel sighed and watched her brother and Selena come out. It struck her a tad odd that he was holding Selena as much as he was. Aysel knew Mason had been in love Michelle for... Well, for as long as Aysel could remember. She badly wanted to rush back to Michelle's room, to hold her hand and whisper comforts that may or not be true. But something held her back from jumping out of Mike's reassuring arms and jolting to Michelle's side. She made a mental note to question the girl later, but for now she'd just wonder. She saw the girl head out and tell them they could see Michelle. A grin broke out across Aysel's face and she jumped out of Mike's arms, landing lightly on the floor. She gripped his hand and pulled him along as she ran to Michelle's room. She peeked her head from behind the door and peered in, an eyebrow raised. She saw Michelle, her eyes open and breathing more steadily, and let out a light squeal before rushing in.

Mason removed his arm from Selena's shoulders. He had seen the odd looks Mike and his sister gave him. The thing was, he wasn't holding onto Michelle like that because he had feelings for her. God no. He had been holding her because he needed the comfort. As selfish as it sounded, it was true. He had to hold onto something, or someone, to make sure he was still breathing. Otherwise he felt he'd simply fall to the floor and die. Plus, he knew Selena needed the comfort too. And obviously, Mike and Aysel were each other's comfort. So that left the two of them and the odd girl. His eyes popped open as, with that thought, she entered and made her announcement. He glanced at Selena, before following Aysel and Mike down the hall and into Michelle's room.

Selena looks at Mason and covers the speaker on the phone. "I'll be there in a second....its Michelle's dad" She says softly and puts her hand in her pocket and tells him what happen. She could hear him cry slightly on the other line and her mother on the other line asking whats wrong. Selena takes a deep breath and tells them that shes fine and she just woke up and they could come see her. Michelle's father said ok and hang up. Walking back to her room she puts the phone in her pocket and stands next to Mason "How is she?"

Mike didn't asked Mason anything. But he could say he let out a sigh of relief when the odd girl came out to tell them that Michelle had awoken and was better than before. Another sigh of relief exited his lips when Ace finally jumped out of his arms. Though he struggled to follow, he didn't have a choice and stumbled into the room after Ace. He smiled lightly when he saw Michelle doing better. And this little thing put him and Ace on much better terms, minus his newly background and the hurt he still felt when he thought about Ace leaving him. It was good and bad. He sat down on a chair and stared at Michelle and Ace. He was glad everything was getting better for Michelle, though it was obvious she was still in pain.

Light throbs of pain still surged through her body. But she was doing much better than before, thanks to the odd girl. She watched as Ace came into view, and through periphial vision Mike. And then maybe Mason and Selena. A lot of people were in her room. She wished she could talk. She had questions because she didn't remember exactly what happened, but also because she just wanted to talk. She wanted to move around a little but it seemed her body was resisting any type of movements that wanted to be made. She managed to heave a small sigh, that caused great pain, but she managed a smile for them.

Selena would pull up a chair on the other side of Michelle and puts her hand over hers. "Hey...you're parents are on there way" Selena says softly holding her hand gently. Even though she got her color back, she looks so small and fagile. She would ask her what happened but she knew that she could barely talk.

Aysel grinned down at Michelle. She felt choked up, and she couldn't say anything. "Thank God you're alive," she whispered and let out a shaky laugh. Michelle looked a tad better thanks to the mysterious girl, but she was still pretty banged up. Well, everything happens for a reason, she thought to herself. The situation put Mike and Aysel on better terms, and it brought everything into perspective for Aysel. Plus, maybe they'd find out something new and exciting thanks to miss mystery in the waiting room. Aysel plopped down in the chair next to Mike and let out a deep sigh she had been holding in since she saw Michelle's truck turn over. She crudely remembered that her Camaro was still in the parking lot of the park, but she pushed it aside. Though the car was her baby, she wasn't going to leave Michelle just to make sure it was OK.

Letting out a relieved laugh, Mason peered down at Michelle. He gently rubbed her shoulder, one of the few areas not covered with band aids or swollen with needles. He nodded at his sister's statement, silently agreeing. Michelle's state, and the obvious pain on her face, made Mason flinch. However, he sucked it up and reminded himself again and again that she was alive, no matter how banged up she was. His mind returned to the girl with the bottle of whatever it had been. He had seen it when he exited, and he was very anxious to ask her questions. The mystery intrigued him, along with his natural curiosity both he and his sister shared. "I don't think we'll be having that party," Mason joked, trying to lighten the mood and tenseness in the room.

Selena laughs faintly "Yea....I guess you're right" She says as she kept holding Michelle's hand gently rubbing her thumb against her skin. Pulling out her phone she checked the time. Where are her parents? She thought to herself before her dad comes into the room with her mom behind him holding his hand.

"What happened?!" Michelle's dad says walking over to Michelle. You could tell that we he was crying because his eyes were red and puffy. Michelle's mother stood next to Mason holding a tissue in her hand up to her nose trying to fight back more tears.

Mike watched Ace finally sit down next to him and he patted her hand lightly. He looked over at Mason. How come Mason still hadn't told Michelle? Especially after all this. If he'd been in Mason's place the first thing he would have shouted out was that he loved her. Why? Because he'd be afraid of losing her and her never knowing. But he had to shove the thought away when Michelle's dad and mother came in. He shrugged to the fathers question unable to answer that. To be honest he had no idea what had happened other than the obvious. Michelle got into a car accident without another car having hit her. Which made things a bit suspicious to him. What had happened?

Michelle could barily make out what was happened. Something about no party now. And then her dad was inside the room with her mom. And she couldn't talk. She drew in a deep breath and finally, she was able to table. "Truck.... accident." Her voice came out raspy and almost unhearable. But you could hear her, and she was talking. It was better than before, right? She was getting better. Slowly, but getting better all the same.

Aysel looked at Mike and smiled lightly, entwining her fingers in his. For now, things between them were alright. She saw Michelle's parents walk in the door and she caught her breath for a second. Michelle's dad, who had always been Aysel's father figure, was crying. It was the first time Aysel had ever seen a grown man cry. In a way, it broke her inside. "Do you want us to give you some time with her alone," she asked politely, knowing the answer would be yes. Aysel's ringtone tore her away from her thoughts, and she pulled out her phone. 'Have you lost your way, living in the shadow of the messes that you've made, and so it goes, everything inside your circle starts to over flow,' Adam Lambert's song Aftermath sang through her phone. She looked at the screen and saw it was her mother. "I'm sorry, it's my mom," she apologized. She squeezed Michelle's hand. "Be strong," she whispered before stepping out of the room and into the hall, sliding open the phone.

Mason stood to the side as he let Michelle's parents gather at her sides. "There was an accident out on the main road, Michelle's truck swerved and flipped over, landing in the side, ditch-like area," he explained quietly. He nodded to his sister's question. "Ya, we'll leave you be for a second," he said. Mason leaned down next to Michelle, his lips by her left ear. "I love you," he whispered to her, brushing her cheek lightly with his lips as he pulled away. He followed Aysel out of the room, raising an eyebrow as she slid open her phone and began explaining to her mom. Mason knew their mom would probably be worried sick about them not calling her since they first got to Michelle's dad's restaurant. It had been around 7 to 8 hours, and they had promised to be back in 5 hours. Their mom was a bit overprotective, to say the very least.

Mike was quite and looked over at Ace. He smiled but frowned whens he got a phone call. He nodded and watched her walk away. He raised an eyebrow at Mason who had explained leaned down and then walked out. This action was quite suspicious and made him wonder it was that Mason had told Michelle. Because she looked very surprised. With a sigh he stood, and ushed Selena out of the room. It was time for daughter and parents. Obviously it would take either a very short time or a very long time. Either way they had to leave. He closed the door behind them and leaned against it, almost like a guard. Perhaps he had a little oddness to himself, but who didn't?

Michelle was glad that she hadn't really had to explain it because Mason did. She listened intently when he leaned forward and her eyes widened when she heard two words, before he kissed her cheek and left. She stared after him until her parents had blocked the view. Had he really meant it? Had he meant it in the girlfriend way or sister way? And was she sure about either one? She didn't know what to do it confused her, and then her parents didn't give her time to think about it at all. They were asking questions and sufficating her with love. Finally they had to go back to work, about thirty minutes later and left Michelle alone. Though she wasn't sure how long along would be. She took this time to talk to herself in her mind. She was full of questions she wanted to ask specifically Mason and damnit she was going to have it answered if she had to walk out of the hospital hooked up to all the machines.

Selena hugs Michelle's mother tightly before following Mason out the door closing the door. She walks down the hall the other way from them and goes out the the small little courtyard. She sits down on the stone bench and stares up into the sky. The sun was setting and they sky was now different shades of blues, yellow and pinks. Closing her eyes she takes a deep breathe happy that Michelle was going to be ok.

Mandy was getting bored just sitting around but well she promised she wouldnt leave and so she wouldnt, so she got up and started to pace she really did want news about the girl was she getting better how fast did that elixer work on humans and well was she able to talk. Her head was spinning with so many questions and well she knew she could get one anwsered "got to call HIM." She picked up her phone and started to dial the phone she wasnt dialing like a normal number she was dialing a 35 diget number thats what all witches and wizards cells numbers were and well after about then rings she heard his voice "what do You want Mandy?" You could hear the poison comming from every word he spoke "i need to know about humans i used the elixer you taught me and well i need to know how it effects humans and how long it lasts." A sudden burst of laughter filled Mandy's ear "you used it on a human you stupid girl nothing happens that doesnt happen to a witch but what will happen now is all the doctors that is around her will wonder how is she healing fast and their friends will wonder that to so what will you do when someone comes down to say that you were the one who did it huh will you run because the council will just come after you then or will you erase their minds?" Mandy paniced she didnt think of that so she yelled into the phone "I DONT know what im going to do thats why i called you i need help i think a few humans already think something is funny when i asked them to leave the room but i had to do it." Mandy talked with the man for a few minutes telling him about what had happened and how it had reminded her about the boy and well the man just was as cold as ever. After a few minutes she sighed "thanks i guess it was dumb to call you sorry father i wont do it again i just needed to know things were going to be fine but i guess i was to blind to see what i had done i should have left her for dead i should have but i didnt and now either i will die by the council or something much worse will happen when the humans come to me." She spoke in a cold tone she was numb on the inside and well she was accepting her death already hoping that was what would happen "yes just dont call again i am having a hard enough time telling your mother your dead i dont need you screwing things up." Mandy laughed "dont worry you wont have to lie soon." she hung up and sat in the chair "well death shouldnt be to bad i heard the council doesnt burn us anymore i hear its far less painfull kinda like sleeping." She folded her legs to her chest and rested her head on her knees and began to cry.

"Hello," Aysel answered the phone with a sigh, leaning against the wall.
"AYSEL FABIOLA BLACK! WHERE ARE YOU?!" Her mother screamed loud enough for everyone in the hall to hear. Aysel jumped back a bit, having not expected her mother to be that loud.
"I'm at the hospital, there was an accident," Aysel explained and rubbed her face. She listened to her mouth ask all the typical questions one would. Such as: Why? What happened? Are you OK? Were you in it? Is your brother OK? Who was hurt?, and more. Aysel knew it would be futile to try and get a word in while her mother basically ranted.
"We're fine, no we weren't in it, Michelle's in bad condition, it was her truck," the teen said quickly while her over-bearing mother took a breath of air.
"Are you with Mike? Why are you with him? Thought he changed and was mad at you? Or was it the other way around?" Marina, Aysel and Mason's mother, said loudly. Aysel turned her back to the others, hoping Mike hadn't heard but having a feeling he did.
"Mom. We are not having this conversation right now. Can you just come up here and bring some coffee or something?" Aysel begged. Her mother agreed, after exclaiming she'd make Michelle a get well pie and that she'd bring lots of flowers and balloons. "Ya, I love you too," Aysel finished and closed the phone, slipping it into her pocket. She groaned loudly before turning back to the others.

Mason watched his sister on the phone with a bemused expression. He was leaning against one of the hospital room doors, and could hear everything his mom said. The thing was, their mom didn't realize that you didn't have to yell to be heard over a cell phone, no matter how far away you were. This was both embarrassing and amusing. His mother's questions about Mike drifted over to him and he snorted. Though he knew Aysel would kill him, he laughed as he heard the conversation. Their mother was over-protective, definitely, and it was quite hilarious to him. He knew it would make Michelle laugh if she could hear, and that made him frown. He made up his mind to buy her something to make her room more lively. It was always saddening to walk into a blank, dreary hospital room.

"I'm off to see what they have in the hospital vending machines, want to come?" He asked Selena. He decided it was best to give Mike and Aysel some alone time. Plus, he was starved. He figured Selena would want something to, and he would get some candy for Michelle from the gift store to cheer her up. It was a small gesture, but it was definitely better than nothing. Mason hummed the tune to one of his favorite songs as he walked off, seeing the dirty look his sister gave him.

Selena could hear Aysel and her mother's talking on the phone, making her giggle. She thought to herself why her mother could be like theirs, protective? Her mother didn't really care what her or her brother did. Sighing softly she stares up at ceiling for awhile and then she hears Mason ask her if she wanted to go get something from the vending machines. "Sure" She says softly standing up and starts to follow him.

Michelle was actually glad to have the little time with their parents. She suppossed that they had slipped out of the room unnoticed by the others, because she was alone. To be honest, after what had happened she needed a few moments to think by herself. And suddenly it all hit her. She saw the bunny and then what happened all the way up until she blacked out. It was horrible watching something replay itself before you got majorly hurt. It confused her why she was still alive, though she was grateful she was, and why she had recovered so quickly, though she was grateful she had, and why Mason had said the two words that he had said. Those two words could mean anything, she could still feel his lips lightly on her cheek. She fidgeted a little with a wince, she was doing better on the moving around and before her dad had left he'd helped her sit up and even turned the tv on, though she hadn't even looked at it yet. When she did she found what was on boring and left it alone. She had too much to think about anyways, even with the pain still pounding around in her head and body.

Mike tensed when he heard the words about him through his mother. Apparently she had made him look like the bad guy. And after all he'd done! He pushed back against the wall and scribbled down a small note to Michelle and placed it on the table without looking in when he did. He then made sure he had everything. He'd walk home, he didn't care. He was just so angry. Apparently everything was his fu-cking fault. Why was he not suprised that it would be turned against him when Ace had been the one to leave him. This was why he was beginning to not trust girls. "Have a nice fu-cking day." He mumbled angrily walking past Ace and towards the elevators.

Mandy was looking past her knees she wasnt really ready to anwser any questions but well whatever questions they had she would try to anwser them best as she could. She waited for their little time together was over and when they remembered about her being their before she even thought about moving "huh i wonder how long it will take before im even thought about."

Aysel stood rooted to her spot, momentarily stunned. Then a look of anger flashed across her face. She stormed past passerbys as she followed after Mike. She understood why he would be upset about the words her mother spoke, or the fact that she left. But he was still the one who had changed the way he had. He was the one who made that choice. Sure, her leaving could have effected him, but he didn't realize how much he hurt her in turn. That didn't make him any better than her, and the hurt on both sides were shared. As the elevator door began to close, Aysel sidled in, the door dinging as it shut. Her hair swung violently behind her in a long, red brown waterfall. "I'm sorry for what my mother said. And for leaving. But that doesn't give you any right to be like this! Do you not get that you're hurting me in turn? You're not the only one who has felt pain over this, bub. You blame so much on me, but you're no better," she yelled angrily. Her words were filled with hurt, frustration, and a pinch of venom. She didn't care that others could hear as the elevator slid down the shaft, passing floors.

Mason arrived in the hospital gift store, glancing around. He bit his lip, not sure what to get Michelle. A teddy bear, maybe? Or was that too childish? Candy? Too little? A bible? She had one of those, it wouldn't do her any good. Mason screamed in his head, not sure what to get her. "Looking for something?" A feminine voice asked behind him. He turned to see a woman, around 21, smiling at him knowingly. Mason groaned and nodded. "Girlfriend? Sister? Mom?" She asked. "Um. I'm not sure." In truth, he wasn't sure where he and Michelle were. "Ah, the girl you hope to God loves you back. I can read it on your face," the female chuckled. She ducked behind a door, leaving Mason standing confused in his spot in front of the stuffed giraffes, teddy bears, and other animals. Quickly the woman came out holding a large, purple teddy bear. It had unique glass eyes, and was soft and furry but not too large. It held a medium sized, pink heart in its lighter pink paws. "Perfect," Mason commented. He purchased it along with a bag of mini chocolates, which he tucked in between the bear and it's outstretched arms. Making sure Selena was still behind him, he stopped at the vending machine to grab an energy drink and a bag of Skittles.

Mike was only a little surprised when Ace came into the elevator. He shuddered with anger and pressed the red button to make the elevator stop between floors. He returned his view to her. The one girl that he would've done anything for. The one he thought wasn't like his mom, and yet here they were. "You don't have the right to feel pain! You left without many words! What the hell am I suppossed to think?! You were the only one besides my family that knew about her! And yet you still went and left me just like she did! And you're yelling at me because I adjusted myself so that I won't hurt anymore?! No it doesn't fu-cking work like that! Not one f-ing bit! OH WAIT! There's more! And then you make me look like the a-ss-hole to everyone you know! How much worse can you do Ace?! You want my keys?! Take my car!" He took his keys out and threw them on the floor. "You want to shove a knife through my heart?! Let's go to the fu-cking kitchen! You want all my money?! Here! Take my damn wallet!" He took his wallet out and threw that on the floor too. "What else do you want from me?! Huh? What else?!"

Michelle was still alone. She wondered if everyone had just left her all alone. That was okay with her, she wasn't doing too well with speaking. But it did kind of hurt if they had left. They hadn't said bye or anything. And at this moment she didn't know how her accident was changing her friendship. Mason had already gone and said something that confused her, what else could be said or done? She remembered seeing Mike, what was he doing here? Sure he'd been her friend but they hadn't talked until recently. Was Ace not gonna want to deal with almost losing a friend so decide not to be her friend anymore? These thoughts made her want to cry so she shoved them away. She'd find out sooner or later, right?

"You act like you're the only one who has ever been abandoned. Who has ever been hurt or felt pain. Well newsflash, you're not. You always told me you didn't want to be like your dad, that you never would no matter what. And look what you are now! You think I shouldn't feel pain that you've slept with most of the girls in this town? You think I wanted to leave you and hurt you? You really think I had a choice?!" Aysel screamed back at him. She picked his wallet and keys back up and forcefully shoved them in his chest. "I don't want your f-cking car or money. I've never cared about any of that. You know I never wanted to make you feel abandoned again, to make you relive everything you went through with your mom. But, instead of actually trying to talk to me and see how I felt, you turned it all around to make me the bitch, like I already didn't feel like one. You've done everything you can to repay me for the pain I caused you. Why don't you just punch me in the chest and kick me to the ground? Do it, since you're such a big, hurt guy; since I'm such a horrible girl that I spent my nights crying over you! COME ON, DO IT!" Aysel yelled at the top of her lungs, grabbing his left hand and balling it into a fist. Tears streamed down her cheeks, but she didn't care.

Sucking back his anxieties, Mason made his way back to Michelle's room. Gulping and taking a deep breath, Mason balled his hand into a fist and gently rapped at the door. He poked his head in, in a rather comical way, and gave her a light smile. "Is the patient feeling well enough for visitors?" He asked, thrusting his arms forward to show the head of the grinning, purple teddy bear. He was nervous to see how she'd react to not just the present, but to the three words he had whispered in her ear earlier. He felt his heart rise in his throat, and he momentarily heard faint yelling. He pushed it away, deciding to deal with the matter at hand instead. He picked up the bear's paw and waved it back and forth, making it appear as if the stuffed animal was waving. Mason gave Michelle a large grin, hoping to cheer her up.

Selena leans in the door way of the gift shop and waits for Mason so buy something. Looking around she says the average things she say in gift shops. Flowers, candy, books, bears etc. Sighing softly she looks up at the ceiling running her fingers threw her hair before turning around when she say Mason buy a purple bear. She thought it was cute and she knew Michelle was going to like it. Heading over the vending machines getting a soda and some chocolate. Letting Mason walk ahead of her, she starts to eat her chocolate slowly. Walking passed the elevator she could hear yelling from the other side.

Since Ace had listened, Mike would too. He didn't like what she said. Not one bit and even a tear fell. He yanked his hand away when she made him ball it into a fist. "I'm not going to hit you." He whispered. He'd never hit a girl. Especially Ace, no matter what she did to him. But even though there was truth in his words, there was truth in hers too. He was quiet now, quiet than he had ever been. And after a moment he gripped her shoulders and yanked forward, pressing his lips hard against hers. He didn't know why he'd done it, but he just did and there was no taking it back. He wasn't sure what it was suppossed to mean or indicate or symbol or whatever you wanted to call it. So much anger had built up at her and then suddenly a wash of old feelings and he'd just kissed her in the heat of the moment. He just hopped she didn't slap him or anything. Pushing away he could deal with, sort of, but if she hit him... He just didn't know anymore.

Michelle blinked when there was a knock at the door. She looked over at it and saw Mason's head pop in. She shrugged but then saw the bear and her eyes lit up. Like a little girl, she collected stuffed animals. Not many people knew that, she didn't even think Mason knew that. She grinned, just assuming it was for her. Slowly, with a little pain she held her arms out from him to come in and give her the bear. She loved stuffed animals to death and she thought the purple bear was the cutest thing in the world. If Mason had wanted to cheer her up, he succeeded. And he had also distracted her momentarily from bombarding him with questions about what he said. If he was lucky or smart he'd beat her to the punch and explain before she had to ask.

Aysel breathed a tad heavily from yelling so much. Her heart broke when a tear fell from his eye. Deep inside she had known he'd never hit her, but there was always that what if. But that wasn't Mike, and never had been. Thank God it wasn't now. When Mike grabbed her by her shoulders and kissed her hard, she had frozen, shocked. Then that feeling faded away, being replaced by pent up feelings and pain. She pulled herself closer to him, if that was even possible, and wrapped her arms around his neck, running her slender fingers through his hair. At first, she kissed him back hard, tasting the salt of both of their tears. The kiss turned tender on her part, and in her mind she begged for him not to let go of her, not to break the kiss. She had dreamed of this, wanted this, needed this. None of it compared to the feelings swarming around her right now. She focused on the feel of his lips on hers, his body heat fusing with hers, her lean arms around him, her fingers running through his soft hair. She loved him. It was that simple. She always had, always would.

Mason grinned and stepped forward, handing the teddy bear to her. He knew she loved stuffed animals of any sort, and seeing the large smile spread across her face made his heart swell. For a second he wondered what it would be like when they would start asking questions. Would it be awkward? Or would things just click for them? He hoped it would be the latter. But for now he basked in seeing Michelle's eyes glowing and her beautiful smile beaming at him. Even when she was banged up and in a hospital bed, she always managed to look beautiful in his eyes. He was proud of himself for causing the happiness that had obviously spread through her because of the simple gesture of getting her the teddy bear, and he thanked the gift store girl in his mind.
